Before taking the DisinfectRight training, I never knew that a protocol existed for cleaning. I used to see cleaning and disinfecting as what anyone could do, but the training gave me a new orientation and the knowledge needed to properly clean surfaces and maintain hygiene in the best way to prevent transmission of disease-causing microorganisms. After the training, I started to pay attention to making the right choices and proper administration of disinfectants. The training did this to me, it was a beautiful experience.

This is a great training program for learning how to disinfect properly. I was required to complete this for a new position in the health care field. I have worked as a custodian and maid in the past for many years but still found the content informative. The course is not overwhelming as it is separated into modules with quizzes at the end of each section which helps you to retain what you have just learned. This in turn helps with the final exam when you have finished the whole course. The exam can be repeated if need be so relax and go at your own pace.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought with it vigilance on how to disinfect and increase sanitation. Although these should have been our routine practices we can all say that we were failing! Being in healthcare I completed the Disinfect Right Certification and was pleasantly surprised and awakened on how much we miss. I think it should be mandatory for all healthcare workers and physicians alike to routinely complete this program as training and a refresher to keep everyone safe!
