Went to get 3 2x4. Got a ticket at one counter and had to go to another to pay for it which was fine. When I got in line at the lumber yard to get my 3 pieces of lumber I was waiting for my turn to be served. There was 1 client who had a big order and the second client was being served as well. Had to back up and let the 2 nd client out as the 1 st client wasn’t done yet. Now no one was being because they were all helping the 1 st client. Waited about 25 minutes until I saw the client behind me being serve. I then asked why was he being served first and was told his order was quick and easy. Not sure what is difficult about 3 pieces of lumber!! Client service should based on who got there first and not if you know the client! Guess my time is not important to this business! Or whether you are male or female as it seemed like the male’s time was more important! Not going there again!

This is absolutely the best place in the area to get hardware, paint, and building materials. The staff in this store have always been friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they treat you like your patronage matters. My experience with the Rona and Soo Mill in Elliot Lake have never been as pleasant as with Blind River Home Hardware. I'll NEVER go to the Elliot Lake Rona again and have encouraged everyone I know to head to Blind River if they need goods from a building supply center.
