I have been a student of this educational institution many times over the past decade. It has consistently been on a downward trend in terms of making students their main priority. It's very clear that they are not concerned at all about the quality of teaching, quality of services, or quality of the overall experience that is received by students. To top it all off, they announced today that tuition in the future will be increased by an average of 10%. You will end up paying more for less. I urge you to consider your post-secondary education somewhere else.

This is a joke of a school, terrible setup, professors and instructors that are only there for the paycheck and summers off. Terrible registration systems, not sure why they can charge people 17.50 for a "convenience fee" to register online, yet if you actually go to pay in person, you get told they do not accept credit cards or checks, only cash and debit. Edmonton needs a better trades school plain and simple.

DO NOT JOIN NAIT. I Would give no stars but the post option doesn't come up until I select one star. Worst college ever, when you call them , they don't come up with a solution instead gives you additional problems. and they don't fix problems they blame students. Never in students favor, nobody from registrar to faculty. and the chairs are the worst.

More concerned about appeasing and maintaing the corporate status quo than making sure students get a fair and quality education. Just strengthens my opinion that having to pay for a "valid" education is a bloody scam

Nait has absolutely no customer service and the ppl you wait countless hours to ask questions have zero idea about anything. I’d rather pay for hotel and go to sait then waste my time, money and education on this place. Don’t waste your time

Appalling customer service. Fees added on to tuition costs randomly and it takes 10 days to get an unhelpful response from the registrars office. I will not continue with this institution - low quality instruction and poor customer service should not be the norm, but it is at NAIT.

Not my cup of Tea. My partner actually had really bad experience with them as he was studying at NAIT as an international student but sadly lost his Dad at that time. He could not even go back home, He was very lost at that time I mean who would not be if someone's loses their loved one. Unluckily, he failed some courses due to the mental pressure as he had to take care of his rest of the family back home as well (he was the only earner left). But as he had a student status so, he had to maintain it somehow but he was unable to pay his school fee for his next semester (lost his job as his Dad'd death impacted him deeply). We went to his college and asked if we can file for his humanitarian work permit ( permit for small time period from 4 to 6 months if I am not wrong) which is given in special cases like his. The international student centre (In HP building) filed the application for his work permit and made a huge mistake in it and he got rejected. Then we decided to get some help from the college from some designated department (student navigator and financing department) but they said international student cannot get financing if they already got it once. He basically got denied even after mentioning his Dad's death which of course is a huge factor to be considered or some sort of exception could have been given to him. BUT NO this is NAIT where POLICIES COME FIRST NO MATTER IF IT IS AN EMERGENCY Or A CASE OF DEATH. I dare to say that SHAME ON THIS COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND HUMANITY AT ALL. ALL THEY CARE IS MONEY, MONEY AND MONEY. I wonder if some domestic student had gone through the same situation what would have they done for him/her.... But for internationals NO HELP AT ALL. We had a WORST experience with this college THAT DOES NOT VALUE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. They should not forget THEY EXIST IF THERE ARE STUDENTS. A BUSINESS CANNOT EXIST.STAND WITHOUT CUSTOMERS AND IN THE SAME WAY A COLLEGE CEO WILL NOT EXIT WITHOUT "STUDENTS". One more thing this college staff member are full of ATTITUDE and does not like to help ESPECIALLY INTERNATIONALS. ALSO, there are some teacher who DISCRIMINATE BUT NO ONE HAS REPORTED THEM YET WHICH IS STRANGE. I DO KNOW THE NAMES OF THOSE TEACHER AND THE PEOPLE WHO FILED FOR PARTNER'S WORK PERMIT BUT WILL NOT BE DISCLOSING THEM HERE. ALL I can say is " SHAME ON THIS COLLEGE THAT " PRETENDS TO HELP INTERNATIONALS. FULL OF DISCRIMINATION, HELPLESS, NO APPRECIATION TOWARDS INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, NO VALUE OF THEIR TIME AND MONEY. ALL they care is about THEMSELVES. What kind of a joke school looks only at grade 11 marks and not superior grade 12 marks? They said the *grade 11* English and math needed to be upgraded...guess what, grade 12 IS an upgrade on grade 11. If that's the intelligence level coming out of this school, I'm glad that far superior universities look at my son's grade 12 marks into consideration so he doesn't have to try to learn anything from these morons.

NAIT Customer service is non existent. Their course layout is extremely disorganized. It is pretty much self study. It's a money grab college with not much value. If you can keep looking for alternatives.

No staff to help with admissions. Can't get through to talk to anyone for 3 months. Change opening dates for registration at last minute. Website not working.

Applied for the same program multiple times submitted my documents never heard anything back from Nait. Then received an email saying application has been cancelled. Applied to the same program for the next semester and same thing after multiple times of trying to contact their staff finally get to talk to someone and get a very generalized answer you have to wait and keep checking your application online. Seems none of their staff members have a clue what is going on. Later got another email your application has been cancelled. Application fees from applying both times is non refundable don't understand how are they so unorganized and the first application was prior to the whole Covid so yhey don't have that excuse we are trying to work through a the changes because of Covid.
