WCS said all the right things and seemed to know what they were doing when we first spoke to their owner and sales rep. Content-first, conversion-focused, SEO built-in, etc. Unfortunately none of that turned out to be true. Our promised 3 month project (to launch new website design) turned into 6.5 months and only then as an incomplete and poorly executed site. Over a month after launch we are still finding things that were done wrong, or not done at all, and fixing errors. SEO was never even brought up, we spent hours on brand positioning that was ignored, had to explain and force basic website design elements, and the bulk of the work on the actual site build seemed to be done in the last week, after 4 weeks of no progress at all. Core pages were archived and redirected to the wrong page, when they weren't supposed to be redirected at all. 80% of the items on our resource pages were linked to the wrong pages. The modules were built in a lazy and non-user friendly way, with very poor styling. The only part of this project that was positive was the first 2 weeks. I have been through many website redesigns and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. We communicated all of this regularly with the team but it was never corrected and only got worse. This was a HubSpot to HubSpot migration that should have been simple but was a total nightmare. I would never be able to recommend this company in good conscience.
