Excellent hair cut

The stylist refused to listen to me when I told her that it would be a two step lightening process to get my hair platinum. She shaved a chunk of the front of my head that shouldn't be dhaved and now I have to grow back and keep covered. The toner for my hair rinsed out, and she said that it was "banding" on my hair, and she knows that I was a trained stylist and called her out. It was because she was too lazy to listen to me, the person whose been Ivins with my hair for 48 years. Her apprentice that bailed on her did a better job the last time I was there, and actually listened 6o me and gave me what I want.

My hair was ruined here. I asked for less than an inch off and they made it to my shoulders (my hair was half way down my back). Unless you want them to ruin your hair I would not go here.

I do NOT recommend. I recently went and got my hair done at Brass Scissors and I am usually not one to complain but... ????????‍♀️ I was told when I booked that an apprentice would be doing my hair and the owner would be coming to check in on her throughout the appointment to make sure everything was going okay... Neither happened. Instead, the woman who did my hair was NOT the apprentice that I had booked in for as she had apparently called in sick, so instead a “fully qualified” stylist did the services on my hair. I wouldn’t say this is fully qualified. Also, during my whole appointment the stylist was stating her nervousness and also told me that the owner had to beg her that morning to do my hair. I was not informed when I went for my appointment that the women I initially booked in with would not be doing the services anymore, so I had no clue plans had changed. Lynn (the owner), reached out to me after reading a review my sister made a couple days ago after she saw the state of my hair, and offered for me to come back and get my hair redone by a different stylist.. but I do not wish to as my hair is now dry and should not have anymore chemical applied to it at this time.. and to be honest my trust in this salon is no longer there. I asked to have my money refunded back onto my card instead and I have not heard anything back yet.. $180 for this work completed is outrageous. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in my entire experience. You go to a salon to feel pampered and I did not feel that at all. ????????‍♀️ ????????

We were in Dawson Creek for two nights because of unforeseen car trouble and in need of some hair care. Brass Scissors took us both in as walk-ins and did a great job; wonderful staff! Actually everyone (from the Super 8 staff to the staff at Inland Auto to the taxi driver)in Dawson was extra kind and helpful to us which helped to make our unfortunate stop there very pleasant indeed; thanks!!

I got my hair coloured for the first time here a couple of months ago. I went to Brittany, who was extremely helpful in what would look good with my skin tone and what wouldn't. I ended up going with a Dark Red colour, which turned out fantastic. I can't wait to go back! I highly recommend Brittany :)

The staff were all very nice but $65 each for the pedicure my friend and I got was extreme for what you get and on top of that they wanted $25 extra for gel but had no good options for regular polish.. not to mention our toes had chipped polish off THAT night.. We won’t be going back unless prices drop.

I came to get my bangs cut and the older white lady did not cut them even or even properly, straight across cut and no evening out or it's like she didn't even try. She cut more than she had to and ugh I just wish I trusted my instincts when she was gonna make the first cut.

I just finished my nail polish. I was so mad. I asked French nail. She put too much white polish and never ever dried out. But she kept saying " it's polish. It will take a long time because it is just a little thicker" . She also said " this polish was maybe old" ... Then why she didn't change other polish right away? And I told her I'm right hand user. If this doesn't dry , I can't do anything. What she answered me was " u just have to be careful" this is worst service and all I heard was excuse. I won't go back there anymore.

My daughter was brought in for a trim and a side bang, the owner hacked it to pieces. She took a large chunk from the top f her head making her cry and traumatizing her. When confronted she made wild accusations discriminating remarks and refused to return money right off the start. All I asked was for an apology. I am not sure how or why she did this and felt personally attacked because of how bad the cut actually was. My daughter now calls her "The mean lady who hurt my hair"

I went there today.for a trim i was maybe 25 30 min no wash/style nothing and i had a apprentice when she was finished. She called her supervisor over Did Not ask me if it was ok she asked her something then says then im Fine with that and carrys on her Convo with another lady!..i went to pay thinking maybe $20 then she said $48..i said what i could not believe it..i guess its my Fault i didnt ask But i was so glad i got in????
