Had a great experience getting a headshot taken here. At first I balked at the $99 price tag, even though it was far cheaper than anywhere else I could find. But afterwards, I felt like I had actually got a bargain. Ming, the photographer, was incredibly patient with me, and he took a ton of photos in a variety of different poses and lighting conditions, so I had a lot of options to choose from. I wasn't really looking forward to the experience, because I'm not a big fan of having my photo taken, but Ming was super upbeat and really put me at ease, and gave me some great tips. I was really happy with how the shots turned out. Also, the whole process was really fast. It was easy to schedule an appointment on short notice, they sent me the raw photos like 15 minutes after the shoot, and when I chose my favourite shot, they sent me the edits in less than a day. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

I never write bad reviews but this was the most delayed project and it was an expensive mistake and if I can help people I would say to not work with this company. Charged $4000 and it took them 1 year 4 months and things are still not looking great. Very disorganized, I was pushed around to three different web managers, nobody ever picks up the phone and it was painfully long and the website is still not perfect. I gave them my deposit last January, its been over a year and still no great results, they give no direction and like I said nobody cares about your results, no guidance no nothing. I highly HIGHLY recommend you go somewhere else, I suspect that they have fake reviews. Please be careful when giving them your money if you want quality service and delivery of product.

He was very helpful with his suggestions for how to hold my head, eyes, hair etc to get the perfect shot. I would use their services again.

I called this company at the very last minute because I needed a quick update to my website. My bill was only for 2 hours ($160) but my project was treated with respect and urgency. Mediocre work for a website that we paid roughly $5000-$6000 for. I had to pay another company to re-vamp the website they came up with. Horrible with deadlines and every time we followed up, we received a long apology e-mail. Even after we demanded to see what has been done so far, the results were minimal. However, Grace was very sweet but other than that, everything else was disappointing.

Highly recommend A Nerd's World for headshot photography!!! Had the best experience from start to finish. Response via email to book an appointment was very quick. I arrived at the incorrect location for the shoot... they kindly offered me an uber to take me to their Spadina location. Ming was amazing to work with. As a senior marketing executive who is used to being on the other side of the camera, it was difficult for me to be the photo subject . Ming put me at ease and took the time to get the lighting just right and shoot a wide range of poses to get the right look. I received my (more than 100!!) shots by the time I got home and within 48 hours had my final edited headshot. The only reason for the delay was me taking a day to look through all the amazing selects! I am very pleased with the end result and have already recommended A Nerd's World to two others! Hope to work with them again on another project soon!

All I can say is...WOW!!!!! I’m going crazy right now! Ming did a superb job! I have to be honest, when I was in the shoot with him, I could really tell how passionate he is about his craft. The pictures and final edits I received helped to further emphasize that fact. I ended up going with the $200 package which gives you 3 photo edits inclusive with the package, switching between two outfits. I will certainly recommend Ming and his company to anyone I come into contact with who might be looking to get similar work done. Way to go Nerd's World! I'm sure our paths will cross again in the future!
