I went there to exchange/return a defective product. There was none in stock so I was given a refund. No problem. I was told I could go to a kiosk they had in the store and order online and have it delivered to the store. (Apparently staff are unable to do this.) I go to the kiosk and find myself standing in front of a LARGE monitor in the main aisle of the store. As I input the required personal information it is coming up on the monitor for anyone in the main aisle or even anyone outside looking in the window to see. Ironically there's a small icon on the screen that says my information is secure. lol I talked to a staff member that it should be mentioned to a manager to possibly relocate or somehow ensure privacy.( i.e. A small screen.) I was informed only head office could make this decision. So, I came home and ordered it online which means I can't get it delivered to Staples only to my home address. The good news is that if I'm having to order online anyway, I'm not limited to shopping at Staples although I prefer to spend my money locally.

Tried to buy a chair to use in my classroom but they could not find the one chair in a box in the inventory. I tried to buy the floor model with a slight discount - not only would they not give me a discount on the used floor model but they said I had to pay the assembly fee as it had been assembled already. I am a very good customer of this store. The manager was inflexible and ridiculous in wanting to charge me extra for the floor model.

Wouldn't honour their clearly posted price match policy. First the manager tried a made up price match policy that only included a 3 named retailers. She talked through an employee by never to me directly. When I explained their price match policy included all Canadian retailers the employee played "back and forth" between me and the manager trying to build a case for charging me shipping, when the competitor clearly stated free shipping. Pretty disappointed. I went to London drugs and they matched prices, honoring their own policy without trickery or a fight.
DO NOT USE the Copy and Print Centre. Their process and customer service were TERRIBLE. Consider training your staff both technically and for customer service.
Came at 8:35 to print something (36 black and white normal size paper), was told that printing takes 30 minutes but we are closed then. However the sales man explaining the cell phones was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I bought a chromebook less then 3 months ago and it won't charge or turn on anymore. I brought it back to Staples yesterday and I was told it would be shipped to Acer Burnaby where it would be fixed or replaced. I got a call today saying it would not be shipped and I have to pay for shipping. This company has no customer service and they will now also lose my printing business as well. A few $100 in the last year. Do not shop here or deal with these people. I am a 42 year McMurray resident and I have never had a product that was not handled by or replaced when broken in such new condition. NEVER SHOP HERE.

Horrible service from Laura in the print & copy area. There was an issue with the printer, her solution was to "stand there and wait" and I said it has been stuck on "1 second remaining" for over 15 minutes. Her response was "what do you want me to do?". I then went to the computer to see if I can print my work there and it said "failed network". I explained everything to someone else and she offered to help me by printing what I needed behind the desk. However, prior to engaging with that associate Laura was extremely rude. I was shocked to find out she was a manager. This is the 2nd time I've had an issue at this location. I'm never going back. I'll head to a smaller print company where they don't mind helping.

Love this store. Variety of collection. Steps away from Canadian Tire, Walmart, Rona and other stores. Staffs are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Bought HD for MacBook. It took sometime for staffs to bring the product from storage. So many staffs offered help during wait time. Product price is reasonable. There are parking including disables parking, for customers. Store is neat and clean. Recommend others to try this store.

In the course of business, I do a lot of work at various Staples' copy and print centres around the GTA. This location is the best I've come across to date, and is staffed with consummate professionals who will get your order done quickly and correctly - even when they are overwhelmed by multiple orders and inquisitive customers.

Went to this location to get a couple of pages printed and the attendant at the printing desk was not nice at first, she talked down to me because I did not know exactly what I needed. After I dismissed her attitude and talked nice to her she became the "nice" lady. I got what I needed but her service was not even at an acceptable level. When I got there she was talking to someone and rolled her eyes as if I had said or did something wrong all I did was make eye contact to see if I could get some service. Maybe everyone else is nice here, but I will never find out as I am not coming back here again.
Staples in Oakville and Staples on Mavis Rd. in Mississauga are the best place to go for office supplies. The staff is all out to help you and make suggestions to ensure that you get the right product for your needs. I would not go buy any office supply anywhere else. Great staff, great prices, great hours.

Surprised and blown away! The tech staff were super informative about choosing a printer. I had just purchased $150 worth of ink for my existing printer that malfunctioned and called it quits. I bought the new printer and they refunded me my ink!!! I run a small not for profit business and was so relieved and thankful for this! The manager helped, was kind - everyone was very nice!

I bought a printer online and opted for 2-hr pickup in store. When I came to pick up, the staff were friendly and attentive, for the most part. The cashier asked if I had questions while helping another customer to save me some time of waiting. But I did have to wait for about 5-10 mins to pick up anyway, because an authorized person is supposed to manage online pickups - apparently a manager only. The cashier asked an associate to help me so I didn't waste more time. The associate was quick and offered a warranty (I had to pay for it), but he explained that since my printer is an inkjet, they tend to be worth it to purchase the warranty and it made sense. I would recommend that Staples adjust how their in-store operations handles online pickups. Instead of having only managers, train others to help. Put signage to help customers figure out which desk or cash register to go to for pickups.
These guys never answer the phone!!!!! I wanted to buy a scrapbook for a project and it was like 10 bucks!!! The printing services would cost a tonne. This place is just a bunch of ripp offs!!!! Never going again unless things change.
can definitely confirm that the manager here doesn't know much at all about computers. Didn't know that Chromebooks have their own OS, and was rather rude, Dunder Mifflin is a WAY better business.
They didn't have Windows 10 once it was released. I had to buy Windows 8 and upgrade.
I bought a desk a full month ago now. Back then it was late for arrival and would be coming soon. A few weeks later, Staples was called and the customer service guy was going to get back to me about where it is. Now it's been another two weeks, he never called back and we never got any reasoning for why this desk was so late. Now I'm thinking of refunding if this desk doesn't come soon. This experience has been truly abysmal. At this point I don't care if the desk is good or not, all I care about is if I'll ever get my desk. Mind you, this desk costed more than 300 dollars and I never got my money's worth. Very irritating. Edit: I refunded the desk and got a different one. This one was ready in a few days and is great for its price! Still doesn't really excuse the bad experience we had with the other desk.

What is there to say. They have everything you need AND some very cool stuff.
I had gone into staples for some prints and didn't even know where to start due to the sizing we needed. Yola in the copy and print department walked me through every step. We completed are printing and later noticed there was an error. When we returned we dealt with Irida and she was such a huge help and you can feel she felt for us on the error we did as we printed over 100 copies. Irida redid are printing for us and helped us with our error. This has been by far the best customer service experience I have ever recieved. Both of these girls were a pleasure to work with and they deserve the recognition. I will defonetly be returning.
Store is always clean, well stocked and organized. Lots of the staff I recognize as having been there for years. Purchase all my office supplies here, kids backpacks, the Covid curbside is convenient as well.

I think this is probably the best location on the island. I went there to buy a tablet and I probably had four employees asked me if I needed help. They were friendly, courteous and very attentive. Unfortunately they were sold out of the tablet I wanted but called the Courtney location and got them to put it on hold for me. Giving 4 stars only because it took forever.
Great staff and a well organized store. It took a while to find what we were looking for but, nonetheless, we found it. Maybe next time I will head to this store instead of looking elsewhere for a similar product!

Good customer service. Usually I don't get any help from the associates unless asked. But at this location I got help from an associate without asking for it, and that help was indeed beneficial, saved valuable time.
It didn't have any of the electronics I needed. I was looking for a Bluetooth selfie stick that would also fit my Samsung galaxy s20fe. I also needed an adapter for a c-port to headphone jack and charger for the same phone. They did not carry these items. Also, they did not have dual color and black hp ink available. Floor associate and Cashier were friendly though.

This is a great store and probably one of the reasons why living in Campbell River is so great. I had a problem with a chair and James dispatched John who took apart another chair, gave me the part AND found a YouTube video on how to swap the part out. The machines don't scan and email copies. You have to do the old school method of log into a computer, then add scanner, scan and save on desktop, open chrome and login to email, attach and send the document and then logout. Seriously? What age is this?

Staple was good and spaced for Covid standards but the selection was just not there. Using the staples website to identify what was in stock for quick pick-up was a waste of time as the web page was not updated. Also ...when I say I'm ok and don't need assistance, please don't follow me around the store.

Update: My 2nd experience at Staples. Wanted to place an order for a laptop and price match it. Went into the store figuring it might be easier to deal with them face to face with the price match. I was told by Curt that they can only price match items in store. If I was to place an order online, even in the store, I'd have to pay full price for the item, and then get a reduction once the item was shipped to me. I asked if it would be easier if I called customer service for the PM and he said they wouldn't be able to help either. So I was ok with placing the order at one of their kiosks but their machine stopped working and it took 3 reps more than 10 minutes to get it to work. Still couldn't place the order. Came home and called the CS line and was able to do it easily over the phone. Not sure if the store reps are untrained in such matters or Curt was trying to pull a fast one on me. He also tried to sell me other laptops even though I told him I was set on buying that one. And then didn't really seem interested in helping out anymore, possible because there's no commission in it for him if I purchase it online. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Came here to buy a laptop today. The rep (didn't give us his name - he was Indian/South Asian), even before asking what we were looking for tried to sell us Microsoft Office for $150. Next he said the brand of the laptop doesn't matter because they are all the same (news to me). At this point I knew this wasn't going anywhere but I let him continue. After that we narrowed down the selection to touch screens between 13-14". There were only 3 selections, of which one was a beat up demo model. Leaving us with 2 choices, and only one within our budget, which he never asked about. So with the option of only one laptop we decided to take out search elsewhere with more knowledgeable and helpful tech service. We spent 10 minutes here, but that was 10 minutes too long.

The printing/copying stations are not user friendly at all! They are pretty advanced to use and every time I come to Staples there’s never someone around to help. Self-serve should be easier than this. I spend over 30 min just to photocopy 2 sided couple of papers and end up paying over 5$ for the multiple failed attempts! Never going there again

Went here to use FedEx to mail internationally. The experience was horrible. Seemed the people at this location didnt really know how to use FedEx. I had to help them work through the screens to get the mailing done. At first when I asked about FedEx they told me I needed to have a business account to use the service. The experience was not an great one The caliber of service was lacking and unprofessional. This Staples did not represent FedEx well at all.

Tried to get a picture taken. Called in advance, but when I got there they failed to mention the photographer left at 7. Asked if I could try again the next day (Saturday), and they said yes, as long as it was before 7. They failed to mention, again, the store closes at 5 on Saturdays. Two wasted trips that could’ve been avoided if the staff actually cared.

Dishonest and manipulative corporation and employees. I made a purchase online and after 4 weeks I received a totally different item (From a standing 4-face sliding white board to a wall mount 1 face small white board). I went to the store right away and the employee there confirmed that the item I received is not the item I ordered, so she said that the procedure is to return it and order another one instead of replacing it. So, she printed out the return paper work and gave me to sign it, and then went to put the order online and (voila) the item Discontinued. Then the customer (company) service employee advised me to order it from Amazon. I got my money back to my credit card which I already paid its balance. I lost my time and my right in my purchase and I felt tricked. They should be committed to fulfill their part of the trade not to trick the customers with no appreciation for their time and rights.

Less than stellar experience recently. I was picking up $500+ worth of supplies for a charity I work for. Most of it were packs of tape and I had about 20 boxes in the cart. When I rolled up, the associate rang me up fine, and then waited until after I paid to ask me if I needed bags - I looked at all the stuff in the cart and I said... yes. And then she just handed me 3 bags and watched me fill them in front of the register without offering any assistance. Then before I even moved out of the way or finished bagging, she started taking the next customer (keep in mind it was during the day, and there were only 2 people behind me, and the whole time she was just tapping her fingers on the counter waiting for me to move). When I rolled away, I forgot to take my shopping list and she asked me, somewhat rudely, "UH, IS THIS YOURS?" I said, "Oh, thanks, would you mind throwing it out for me?" And she scoffed. DEFINITELY require some more training on customer service!

Great store in theory. The staff are friendly and will ask you I'd they can assist. They're on the ball. However, once you find that special item especially electronics...well, be prepared for it to be out of stock for months. (I attempted to pick up a monitor, laptop, gaming tower and even a mouse...) With not one success.
These guys NEVER answer their phone!! And if they do, they will put you on hold for like 17minutes and if you're lucky to get someone to talk to, they are not motivated talking to customers on the phone.

I have since moved from the area, but continue to return to this location in particular due to the EXCELLENT customer service. I’ve bought everything from laptops, printers, and office furniture. I’d like to make note of a particular experience that I had recently when calling your store. This started out with a lovely gentleman by the name of Gabe who then passed me on to the Manager, Bessie. She took the time with me to address my concern and helped me to come up with a resolution and at no time did I feel rushed or a bother. She truly went above and beyond. One star and only because I can't give a negative rating. I printed some documents but the job failed. I was waiting on the lady for assistance but she chose to assist the other person who came after me. When she finally got to me, i told her what happened and she was blaming me for the problem. Then she charged me again to print the documents. Never coming back here again. Very poor service.

Terrible card printing service. I ordered the next day visiting card printing service on Oct 23. It's Oct 26, and the next day hasn't come yet. They made me drive to the store to pick up the order, and when I reached there, they let me know that they cards are 'in transit'. Then a call to the 'hub' clarified to the Staples staff that the order isn't even in transit, rather they missed the delivery. I requested to ship the order to my home, as its hard to make a trip to Staples everyday, but that was refused without consideration. Terrible service.Won't recommend.

Busy, busy... Went into get my Covid passport, laminated; was told it be at least a hour! Then find out they had to shrink it down in size! So while waiting decided to look for a electronic alarm clock! Tried to ask a question while 2 clerks, helping the same customer! They they'd call someone, they could've just told me the Isle; and could've gone look myself! Waited 15mins & still no service
Don't bother ordering online. Was told over the phone that I can pick up my order but once I was in store told it was out of stock.
Not Impressed. When putting prices and products on shelves please double check prices. By placing an item on the floor in bulk with sale tags near it I assume it is on sale. By the time I got to the till the item was priced incorrectly, the manager disregarded the concern and stated the colour is different so the price is different. I comprehend that, I have worked in retail for over 4 years, instead of disregarding I would have double checked. This experience was unpleasant and upsetting, the cost difference of under $10 is usually corrected instead of being disregarded. In the future at least double check before you disregard a customer because bad service creates a bad image.
The amount of workers present at the store you'd think they could open more than one register when the store is full.

First off, I want to thank the two employees at the Print Service station for their excellent service! I believe their names were Lindsay and Sarah (or possibly Jessica). I wanted to print a unique poster that I could fold into a box. Lindsay was very friendly in thorough in going over possibilities with me, and we figured out together what would work best. Despite how limited I was for time (the graduation gift being meant for the next day), these two worked hard to get it done before closing (it was about 7:30pm when I first got there). It was a long wait, but I attribute this to technical or supplies issues. Remember that retail can have hit or miss employees, but it pays off to give them a chance and the benefit of the doubt. These two made my night an helped the next day's gift-giving went wonderfully! Thank you.

Went in to get prints. Lady told me to leave the copies and come back the next day at noon. Came back the next day and they were not finished. The print lady was helpful however and finished them while I waited.

After 6 years of dealing with this store, an employee accused me of applying a different SKU Number on an item, and would not honour the $50.00 difference on the price of a filing cabinet. The cabinet was brought out from the back from your employee, and placed to the front counter. His excuses were pathetic, as he spoke to a Manager. Bessie and Gus, I am very disappointed in how your employee handled the phone call. The filing cabinet was purchased on November 15th, 2020. Nice way to treat a Loyal Customer.... Disgusting Behavior!!!!
After spending 20 minutes to get a file downloaded for a print job. A total of 20 pages. I was told that my order could not be printed because they were too busy. Not one of the printers (Literally) was being used and what i believe to be the printer manager in the background was unhelpful and didn't care to step in. 530pm and store closes at 9pm. Maybe come back in an hour to pick up your order or a reasonable timeline. Whats the point of a copy centre when you cant get copies quickly. No effort to help. Just tough luck... See ya attitude.
Very bad customer service, exceptionally high rate for electronics. I purchased a headphone for $59 same was available for $15 at Walmart and $17 on Amazon.

I frequent this store for my office supplies. Today, a friend went on with a printer and was having issues returning at other stores. Carla was the one who assisted and she was wonderful. Staff were nice and courteous, Problem is their delivery service. Was told I would have item I ordered the next day(thursday). Took a day off to wait for item, never showed up. Called and was told that it would be on Friday instead. Ended up wasting the whole day friday waiting for it to show up. Went in Irate about wasting two days, saying I want to cancel the order. Was told I would have to wait for the item to show up on monday to refuse delivery before they can refund. Guess what... they never showed up on Monday. Very Disappointing, and will have to do a charge back with CC company.

I came in to have a simple print job done. It was not busy, but I was made to wait a long time by a woman staff member from the print and copy department, who was chatting away with another staff member. When I complained , the other staff member (who, I find out is the general manager of the location!) spoke rudely to me. Not good. I walked out.

Bought a sculpt keyboard... didn’t work, and since I’m out of town, thought it better to ring them and ask if this was a common occurrence with, hopefully, an easy fix... tried successive times to get through on their advertised number and no matter what option I chose, nothing happened ... the call would ring once on the specific line chosen then nothing... dead air. In this day and age, you’d expect someone to at least be able to answer the phone in the technology department.

The closing time on their website is 7 pm, whereas they close at 6. Some customers had to return from the door. That is avoidable customer service glitch.....

I even at one point went in and made it look like I was checking something out and I was calling on the phone but still NO answer, they didn't even look at the phone
6pm on a Wednesday. No one on the floor to help customers. Walked around looking for an item for 15 minutes before lining up at the cash to ask for help. The poor guy at the cash worked at the print shop and couldn't help. Will shop elsewhere.

I called this store to check if they had a camera in stock. They didn't have any. So I asked if they could check other stores. Keep in mind it was a snow storm so I didn't want to drive around multiple stores checking. The associate on the phone said I had to come in their store in order to check. I asked why? They eventually admitted they had customers at the store and didn't have time dealing with me on the phone. They did not bother to get my number to help me out at a later time. Very disappointed.
Heads upto Ahmed manager in staples. He understand customer need and try to help as much as he can. I was almost done with the lady staff with poor customer service who tried to stop me before 5 min of store closing time and making arguments that you cannot print as she is the owner. It's a request to owner kindly train staff before hiring on floor as she was doing discrimination, arguments. As she must know that when the customer is in store you cannot pull him out by not allowing to do any purchase as its against policy of store. Mr. Ahmed acknowledge her behaviour made me cool down and help me to finish my job too. I will advice if you find any issue call the store manager immediately.
After going home to get some phones to sell them to get a new phone cheaper and wasting gas and an hour and a half the phone that I wanted that they said they had they didn't have

While the rest of the store is like any another Staples, this location is the worst on service, especially the print shop. One time I sent a printing job for my son's school project by email and when I showed up to collect the lady at the print shop said the job could not be done as the file could not be opened...what a shame! Could they not have told us that earlier, at least I would have found another location, sent another file. We have never used the facility since.

Senior management needs to be trained on how to prevent bullying and harrasment.. I am a regular customer and have no personal complaints.. I usually keep to myself but after witnessing unprofessional behavior of senior staff I am compelled to write a review. Lately, staff members seems to be more busy pulling each others leg than attending to customers. Today saw a staff breakdown into tears after being made fun infront of the coworkers and customers. Mentioned the incident to the supervisor but she didn't seemed much bothered. This place used to be better!
I just had the worst customer service inside of Staples Campbell River Branch. I went to the printing center to get 32 black and white pages printed to then be told to go to the cashier to get a giftcard due to the fact i only had a debit. And not a credic card. She didn't know how much it would be to print 32 pages but knew that it was $0.12 per page to print. So I ended up doing the math for her and multiplying .12 * 32 to get a total of $3.84. I told her that total then she then asked me to go back to the back of the line so that she could help the next customer and that she would help me with the card once I get to the counter again. After I had already waited in line and got to the counter to talk to her. If you ask me this the worst customer service I've ever had in my life!
Never get very good service there and not very knowledgeable staff. The staff does not know the products they sell. Make sure you know exactly what you're going in for.

I was in a rush looking for some charging cables for my devices and went to this Staples for the first time today. The store was exceptionally clean, very organized - made it easy to find items, quick service, with friendly and helpful staff. The cashier was especially nice and approachable - I believe her name was Tamara. Really seemed like she was happy to help and also greeted each person on the way in. I'll definitely be returning to this location! These guys definitely deserve the recognition.
Pricy for printing
Went there today today to buy a office furniture. Waited 10 minutes no one came to help. Asked for assistance was told someone would be there .15 more minutes and I left will be taking business elsewhere.

Worst first and last time printing services ever. I went to the printing area and asked if the lady if I could print some images on my own paper which was the inkjet tshirt transfer paper. She looked at me if i was crazy and told me "Not at all not possible we cannot take our regular paper out and put your own in". I went to another not so popular place "The ink factory" and they were happy to use my paper. Such a minor thing could not be done at a "prestigious" place such as Staples. I don't recommend people getting their printing work done here.

I work at Canadian tire across the parking lot and while we are building back the store the head manager from staples where yelling at our gate security about staff parking in the lot, note that we park back along the end of rows and try not to interfere with anyone who is trying to shop at staples, well anyways he has threatened to tow people who park, it wouldn't be so bad but they only decided it was an issue as the snow is coming down and has caused us to park really far away in the cold. I'd think there would be some respect or understanding when one company is trying to rebuild after a devastating flood. . .
Staples always provides friendly helpful knowledgeable staff. And if something is done wrong they fix it. I have trusted Staples and their staff for many years not only here but at any Staples I have been in.

Came in to make a copy of a large document, and to scan and get a .PDF as well. The printers were easy to use and there was hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes to disinfect. I also used the computer station to scan the PDF. There was an issue with my drive and Taraq went above and beyond to help me out. It was pretty busy and other customers were giving the staff a hard time but he was really gracious, respectful, and authentically helpful.

My experience with them had been such a waste of time. They told me my order will be ready in 1 - 3 business days , waited for 5 and emailed them inquiring. They put my order on hold and asked me if I wanted to continue the order. I replied and said yes. The website status was "in production". Its now 10 business days. I asked them and they said its been on hold all this time. What a waste of time this is.

Bought a computer mouse here and a dude at the cash said that for extra $7 i can get a TWO year replacement warranty. Got that, because some gadgets die on me like crazy. I come home, check the receipt and it turns out that its only a ONE year warranty which runs along the warranty the manufacturer gives. Only $7, but I feel rubbed. Cashier is a lying ass.
My dad bought me a laptop, since I had to learn from home and do my schoolwork. The Staples staff at Fort McMurray said that this laptop was a new one and they gave us a used laptop. From now on people should never buy anything from Staples because during the Covid-19 pandemic they are trying to cheat their customers and make a false profit. From now on I will never buy anything from Staples.

I purchased ink and paper on Monday December 12th. My overall service was decent nothing over the top. And I'd like to add the store was not busy at all. While being served by the cashier Kate (who was somewhat friendly), at the end of the transaction she was waiting for my receipt to print and she proceeded to text someone on her phone, waited til she was finished and gave me my bill. I didn't think this was very good customer service. She has 2 15 minute breaks and a half hr lunch, this is when her phone should be used. I wasn't overly impressed.

The store is very clean and organized. I was offered support from the staff several times during my visit today. When I asked where to find tape, I got a kind answer right away. I didn't have to wait long at the cash register.
I had purchased 8 staples better binders during last back to school season in Aug. 2016 from this store. 3 of them started crack & opened joints last March. Last April, while I was at this store to purchase another item, I checked with the staff & I was told bring it back after school ends & they will exchange even though without receipt, because it was sold exclusively in Staples. I went to store on 8th Jul, 17, & explained to 2 bosses of the staff who was insisting for receipt. I was ready to provide to provide credit card to pull from their records & they did not want to this, Interestingly, 10 yr veteran Philip & his boss Bryan shown keen interest in binder colors, coming back & showing you can still use this. Regardless there were many choice for them to look into the issue, just for $30 item, carries their business name, their action got to do with skin color of the customers if they really had any authority on the floor. Anyway, whatever the excuses they come with now, on both occasion ( April & now ), my teen age daughter was present & mature enough to understand who these people are. I did not ask for any favour from these people or try to beg. After this, I even called two more nearby Staples store to find out more on these issue & they are happy to put customer service first. For me upsetting thing was not $30 binders, two bosses who made look cheap in front all other staff & people, typically acts like stubborn or dumb Now, Staples should congratulate those two veterans for saving $30 on replacing binders & preventing my future purchase of all kind.

Better than any furniture store. Well priced. Excellent selection of printer inks. Something for everything. Staff ares polite, helpful.

What a day, I met a young man at Staples , what a friendly and helpful young man!!! In a conversation I found out how well educated he is and we open to many problems. I wish him all the best for his future and his carrier. By staples he advised me a new printer to buy and this was a super decision because I got rid of my old Kodak which made my angry for years. Literally the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. Standing here for about 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged and then even served another woman first. The manager stood there discussing irrelevant matters with someone. Never go to this location 30 min and could not even print my order.
Staples is decent, but they show things on their website as available in store but when you go they don't have it. If you call no one ever answers the phone. The store is clean though.

I was just in the Chatham store with my son. He is 20 and has autism. He was looking for flash drives and we were approached by Nicholas. He was very helpful and told us which he would recommend. My son has autism but was very talkative today. It wasn't all about the flash drives and would seem random to most people because they wouldn't see the connection in his mind. Nicholas was super. He listened to Adam and conversed with us both with an easy, comfortable style. Those 5 minutes he spent talking to my son ( who doesn't get a lot of chances to see or talk to people near his age these days ) made a great impression on both of us and my son declared the visit a success. We will be returning soon to look for laptops and we will definitely be looking for Nicholas to help us!

Customer service skills not great! I ordered an item 3 weeks prior to Christmas and prepaid for it. I was told at the time that it should be in before Christmas. I understand they are not in full control of these things but I went in last night to check to see about it, as I haven't heard anything and a manger happened to be standing there when I asked the cashier. The manager looked at me and said we haven't seen them yet and I mentioned I was told I would have it for Christmas and she just looks at me and say "well, it isn't Christmas yet". She wouldn't make the effort at all to look to see if there is an ETA or anything. Very disappointed!

My daughters laptop picked up a malware virus. Brought it in to have it wiped clean and everything put back to working order. Stressed that she needed the laptop as she is a university student. Was assured that it would only be 2-3 days at the most. Now 4 days on and won't be ready for at least another 2 days or more. Not good enough. If you couldn't get it done for me in the allotted time I would have taken it elsewhere.
I tried to call the store to get info on some equipment. The automated phone system is terrible. After bouncing around on hold for 25 min @ long distance rates, it hung up on me. I called back 5 more times and never got through. Maybe nobody works there.
Came across a rude, miserable women at the printing department. I will never step foot in this Staples location again. After reading multiple other similar reviews based on the exact same BAD experience with this lousy employee I'm surprised she still has a job. Staples needs to take action and hire someone who would gladly fill the position and treat customers with SOME respect.

We were their to get custom made stamp and copy and prinitng staff a old lady with short hair cut told us to wait for online chat. we stood their for half an hour and nobody came. we ask the same lady to check if she can ask someone to help us. but she was busy chatting with other lady and after 10 min. we asked her again and she said she did not able to hold with that guy. we went their from work and she wasted our an hour. we went to other store and got that work done in 10 min.

Terrible customer service. I placed an item on hold for pickup and paid for it. They charged me for the wrong model, costing over $100 more. I walked back into the store asking for a price correction within 15 minutes of leaving. The store manage refused and only offered me two options: Return the item or keep it at that price. I submitted proof from staples.ca verifying the make and model of the item and because the SKU# doesn't exist on his computer, he could not issue a price correction. I called staples.ca and submitted all the information and the manager there said, I was correct and would receive a price adjustment and to hear back from the store. 2 business days go by without a reply. I call back only to have the staples.ca person calling the store and indicating that I can either return the item or keep it. Now I am stuck in limbo waiting for the staples.ca Manager to reply back to me. How is this right from a customer service perspective?

I do not recommend buying a printer from Staples. I purchased a printer 4 months ago. When I purchased the printer there was no ink available to purchase with the printer. I returned to the store total of 4 times seeking the ink for the printer with no results of purchasing the ink. Every time I was told they were unable to tell me when the ink was coming in. This is just simply bad business when you sell a product that is not usable.
Very bad service from the Tech Dept. Rude and dismissive when I returned my first Kobo, as it would not charge. When my second one did not charge, they said it was over one month old and I would have to deal with Kobo directly

What a faceless company! I am trying to figure out if I should come down to the store to look at a couple of expensive items but I wanted to know if they are in stock. Called, no answer, called back, no answer. I cannot believe their answering system is literally set up to "hang up on you" if it doesn't get picked up in 30 seconds. It just asks you to call back later...Almost like they knew they weren't going to get the phone or something. So I am supposed to wait all day before I can find out if they have what I need. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A PHONE # IF NO ONE EVER PICKS UP????????? Just delete it because it is pissing a lot of people off!
I've had many self inking stamps made by Staples. I always order online for same day service. Never experienced a problem. Vey fast turnaround and no mistakes.

Went to buy a USB key, but couldn't find them. Waited quite awhile for help because of lack of staff. When I was approached by a staff, instead of asking me what I was looking for, she just told me that I have to wait longer because all the staff was busy. Looking for a brother office printer, one that does everything, store only had 4 printers to look at. Looked on our phone and found one we liked. The store Clerk looked online for it. Said he found one at rexdale store. Put it on hold for us. Got there he had given them the wrong printer number. The other staples didn't have it either. We had to order it online after going to two stores.
I live in Nelson so need to enquire about stock before I make a 3 hour trip to visit this store. After several calls over three days, I can not get a human to answer the phone. It is obvious that staff are hidding behind the automated phone system and not trying to be helpful. I have a rather large purchase I intended to make at Staples in Cranbrook in an attempt to "Buy Local". I will now just purchase online. FYI. If local Kootenay Merchants are going to be so vocal about buying local, you had better get on the service bus, or our retail community as we know it today, will fail to survive. Not good for anyone. I always attempt to buy my items in Nelson or area but often get horrible or no service. If I don't get help or service, I go to the computer. Can't get much simpler than that! On line is getting easier and easier. In most cases I can find things cheaper and shipped to my door for nothing. I want to buy local still, however, over and over I am totally disappointed in local merchants. If it's not in stock, they are generally not interested in helping. I have read over and over in the newspaper that I should buy local and I agree! So, GET WITH IT YOU GUYS! All we want is good service. We are generally willing to pay more for a local purchase. Don't tell me you can't get it for three weeks or at all when I can go online and buy it cheaper and get it in three days! (you could do the same) In short, quit whining about dwindling sales when online marketers are providing the same goods cheaper, in many cases quicker and without the frustration of dealing with unmotivated, lazy service people!

When I walked into the Aimco Staples Store, yesterday, Mar. 14/20, I was greeted immediately. Amanda, the Store Manager, was at the check out. She was smiling as she asked me if she could ???? be of any assistance!! Amanda helped me with an online purchase in the store. She and all her staff treated me like I was the ONLY customer in the store!! Amanda's staff worked 'in harmony', the store was CLEAN (womens' washroom was super clean and fully stocked) and the shelves and displays neat and easy to browse! Went into Staples earlier today. They had everyone wanting to go into the store line up as only two people allowed at once into the store. I thought I was in the Soviet Union during those 15-20 minutes. Soon we will all be lining up to get essentials.
Pretty good. They asked me to come back to pick up my binding order - but it was 9 volumes totaling 2000 pages. Ready 60 minutes later. It was $42.50 plus tax to bind all 9, which is less than I used to pay back in 1995. I will go back. Thank you.

Not happy with the service at Printing station. Came there yesterday at 5:30 to copy a few documents. The lady said it's too late and she can't do it now as the store closes at 6!
Unfortunately their fax machine was out of service. The representative said it could be out for up to two weeks. I found a good sale on printer/scanner/fax machine so I bought it at a very low cost. Turned the con into a pro. Now can save time and money!

Stapes is the store where I buy my ink for my paper copier. The thing I like the most is you are greeted when you come in, the staff ask you if you need help and greet you when you leave.
I was at this store Yesterday to buy school supplies for my son , every year buying school supplies for my kids was a torture for me because these lists are long and either not very specific with the items required or too much specific so I was expecting the same thing to happen this year however thanks to Morgan (Staples sales associate) this task was so smooth, she was very helpful directing me to every item needed and also helping other customers . absolutely worst customer service in the copy center ever! gave me the wrong information twice putting our Christmas card order that much more behind while my husband is on night shift and I am on day shift. they can not come up with a solution at all to their error instead except my husband to come to the store and get a refund on his credit card when all we want is the Christmas cards printed in store. So now he has to wake up inconveniently before his 2nd night shift drive downtown to get a refund for cards that were suppose to process 2 days ago! and all the guy, Scott I beleive his name was on the phone said was "okay" zero help zero solution

I disagree totally with the poor review listed below. I have always found the service at this store to be exceptional. I had a recent issue with a visa charge and the General Manager of the store personally got involved to resolve it. I was quite impressed.
Not impressed, got the scratch proof liquid armour coating added to my phone which seemed to attract dirt and make it stick to the screen causing two massive scratches on my brand new s21 i had bought days before after calling multiple times to try to resolve this issue being promised a gm would contact me i have gotten no where, no calls back, liquid armour are impossible to contact about this issue dont put that garbage on your phone.

I went into staples 2 mornings in a row to get assistance with color copying. The young lady at the copy desk informed me that if I didn't know How to run their machines I could not use them. She also informed me that she could not show me how to operate them as the employees are not allowed to assist as they are supposed to upsell to them doing the work for at an ridiculous upcharge. When asked about the paper and different weights was told that if I bought cardstock from them I could not use it on their machines. To say the least I truly hope this young lady is demoted and forced to take a customer service course as she is sadly lacking.

Went to the location at Winston Churchill and Dundas in Oakville and had an awful experience. I was looking for an Amazon Fire Stick. They had empty boxes of them on the shelf with an On Sale sticker. (They don't want to put the actual product out because they think you might steal it. It is only $40 and there are lots of other things in the store for more than that in the same size box. Strange policy.) You take the empty box to the cashier and then she gets someone to go and get the product. They take 5 - 10 minutes and come back and tell you that they are out of stock. When I asked why they have empty boxes on the shelf implying that there is inventory, I was told that is standard procedure. The sales clerk also tried to tell me that they only sell the product online and then back tracked when I showed him the shelf location and sales price tag. He obviously did not know his product. A waste of about 20 minutes. Drove over to Best Buy, product was on the shelf, took it an paid for it and out of there in about 5 minutes. I think I will stick to buying my pens at Staples and my electronics elsewhere.

Wasted my time and didn’t even apologize. At the cash right before paying, the lady told me I could price match a staples product if I found it online... I looked it up on my phone and when I found the same product on amazon, she called her supervisor to process it and he said “It’s a staples brand item, which can not be price matched!” Just frustrating.

I have purchased two phones from this location almost a year apart. I was greeted by Raj Kumar both times and was provided with exceptional customer service experience. He provided amazing product knowledge as well as educated us on the staples website which provided discounts once you sign up. He is my go to person for any staples related purchases. Will follow up with the store manager to ensure he is recognized.

Visited this store today. Signage was not correct on product. Supervisor acted like she was going to do me a favour and give me the price. I also complained that there were 4 tills with staff behind them and only one was open. Was told by the same lady (tall with dark hair) that they appreciated it when the customers had patience when they were getting slammed. What an attitude! If a staff member is not going to ring in customers maybe they should not stand behind the till.

I went in intending to print a few documents at this location, and I will never return. Not only did I leave without my print outs, I left angry. At the print desk, I was interacting with an older lady of which has absolutely ZERO customer service skills. She was rude and unimformative to my questions. Looking at the other 1 star reviews for this location, they all have her in common. I don't know how she still works here to be honest.

We ordered a laptop that was not in stock at the time. We were told that it would be 3-5 business days and it arrived first thing the next morning!
Went in today with router trouble and I was in a hurry because I'm in camp and needed to get to bed before shift. They scooted me right in , set me up and had me on my way in 20 minutes. Fast , friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for ??? Thanks guys :)
Terrible service at the print desk. Ordered before noon, arrived after 7, single page job, printed and prepaid. The store is deserted, no customers, but I can still see five employees at the cash registers doing nothing. The girl at the print desk is by herself trying to help three customers, which she's doing very slowly and very quietly. Even though I can see my finished job behind the counter and all I need is for someone to hand it to me, I still have to wait 10 minutes for a transaction that took less than 10 seconds. When someone finally came over to help he had nothing to say but look at me blankly when I complained. Save yourself the headache and use an independent, the big box doesn't care about you.
I went online to submit a PDF document for printing. I received an email only two hours later saying it was ready for pickup. When I picked up my order, I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the printing and the reasonable cost.
Printing Services - June 14, 2016 from 7:10PM to 9:00pm terrible service for the old lady – 9 pages printing took almost 2 hours. The old lady treated the customers as her enemies, and gave the wrong direction, process, and complaint to system down to customer. I do not know why so great company has so terrible employee.

Friday early evening , I was served by an Employee at the printing pick up station. Laura was her name. I had ordered prints to be picked up and when I got them , they were way too big. I was almost in a panic as I needed them for work this evening. Without any stress, questions or hesitation Laura Printed new ones for me on the spot. I was so pleased with her customer service. I left in such good spirits .
Placed an order for curbside and within minutes it was ready to go. They even brought it out to me a few minutes before opening, great Customer Service. Also not the regular location I go to, came here because they had what I needed in stock
I lost my laptop charger on vacation and stopped in today in a mad panic to get it operating again. Liza assisted me and provided exceptional support and was able to determine the right charger I required. I’m back up running again - thanks Liza!!!
In the afternoon of March 16, I went to this location trying to mail something via Fedex. I had never done that before and was incredibly confused and was helped by an incredibly kind woman at mailing, copy and print section and I wanted to give credit where it was due! She was very patient with me and really went above and beyond with her service and attitude. I'm kicking myself for not remembering her name but it started with a J! Thank you thank you! :)

I had some technical work completed on my laptop and the hard drive upgraded to an SSD HD. The level of professional service I received from the "young" technicians was truly remarkable and top quality. It was a level of service you don't see anymore and most likely anywhere, especially from young people. Majd and Mustafa are knowledgeable, professional and very friendly with a great level of experience and communication skills. If you have computer or laptop problems and need work or upgrades done on it, I highly recommend Staples and ask for Majd or Mustafa. These guys are excellent and honest and you won't be disappointed. Awesome job guys and thanks for doing an excellent job on my laptop!
Staff and management are ignorant, arrogant and condescending. They seem to excel in knowing everything about nothing. The absolute joke on these guys was staff explaining to an Apple engineer who was helping me a purchase a product of how things worked. When he tried to correct them on how the product actually worked they insulted him LOL. Needless to say we walked out.
I have purchased a plantronic head set with an extended warrantee from this store. They do not honour the warrantee (they just charging for it only) that is illegal and will take them to court. Their customer service sucks!
I just went to this location to print labels that I had already designed. The supervisor, a tall dark haired caucasian lady was riddiculously rude to her new employee and wouldn't listen to me as I tried to explain what it is I wanted to get done. She kept on insisting that I utilize their new in store custom design webcam kiosk where a live representive would help me with my order. I stood there for 5 minutes infront of a screen waiting for a rep via webcam to assist me. When he showed up on the screen he was unable to hear me and I was unable to communicate with him through the mic and the instant messenger. Shortly after the video call was disconnected by the rep. A new employee at the print station offered to help me and everything was going fine until the bossy and arrogant supervisor was back telling her she can't assist me and if she does she has to charge me some unnecessary fee. She was just very rude and belittling to the new employee for no reason when all she was doing was her job. The supervisor or manager whoever she is.. had she just allowed the girl to help me all would of been fine. Instead she stood there complaining about how helping me would be holding up the line and saying the new employee wouldn't be able to manage later on by herself. Smh.. I just told them im leaving and going to a different location because this is riddiculous and I left. Such a waste of time. I Really hope the new employee leaves because that manager or supervisor is extremely condescending and disrespectful. I hope upper management looks into this. I understand they want to be technologically forward but they will lose customers if they aren't willing to listen and assist just like how they lost business with me today.
Staff needs improvement assisting customers.
I was looking for label maker tape and pens. I was immediately helped by a sales associate. I found the pens on my own, paid and left. My wife informed i got the wrong color, I returned and the same associate helped me by getting the correct pens while I was getting the return processed. I would give at least 6 stars.

Went in at 8:15 to get a paper binded. I was told with forty five minutes left before close that they are not accepting anymore student papers (with a smile). I wouldn't have minded if the place was actually busy. No reason why the girl behind the counter couldn't spare five minutes to bind my paper.

My boyfriend recently purchased a yeti recording microphone from here. After using it a couple times the audio stopped working. We took it back (without a receipt) hoping that maybe we could get a replacement and Debbie went above and beyond! She got a copy of the original receipt off their system , gave us a full refund and checked the stock to make sure we could get a replacement or something better! If you have any returns or questions definitely see Debbie, she'll do everything she can to help. Great customer service, we will be buying from here in the future!

Needing printing or other related services?...definitely go to this location!! The customer service was amazing! You can do it yourself (guidance is provided) or have them do it for you. Super fast, friendly, professional and they made it so easy for me to get the job done! Great prices too. The thing is I am the worst at this kind of thing...the woman who guided me made it easy to understand. Also a great ambasssdor to Staples offering impressive information about other services like banners hats etc for your business or organization's needs!
Excellent customer service. I always get the help I need when I go in and almost never leave empty handed. An employee by the name of Cole is super knowledgeable and always answers my every question whilst helping me to compare products and find one that best suits me.
Do not have the time to close my shop to drive all the way down to Staples to find out why another one of their re-man printer cartridges says it is not compatible with my printer, again! Tossed the last one out but not this time I should not have to. Fifth time I have tried to call and not been able to speak to anyone. Frustrating for sure for anyone. Understand staffing issues etc...but why is there not a Customer service person on full time? It does make sense for a business of this size with the variety of products they sell. Hopefully they can have this issue addressed. I always get helpful and good service when I go into the store, just not the phone.
We went in there just to buy filing cabinet Everything was a little disorganized in the staff seem to be going around in circles even with simple questions But I will go there again and give it another try It is possible it was just disorganized because they recently open back up after the pandemic However there was hand sanitizer and face masks there that they offered as you walked around the store

I came into the store today to do some printing and photo copying. I had some questions on specifics of how i wanted the print job to be completed. I was assisted by Raja who went out of his way to answer my questions and help me complete my print outs professionally. I have to commend his service and desire to help, he answered all questions and made my experience a pleasant one. Generally I don't write reviews too often but he is an asset to the organization and should be recognized for his 5 star service he provided. Well Done Raja!

Was there just tonight with my son buying a calculator. Young cashier with cloth on her head. Was surprise how rude this girl was. After paying, she flipped the receipt to us, looking the opposite way and dismissively said "Have a nice day", it took the better part of me not to give her a piece of what I think wishing someone a nice day should look and sound like. Please hire your staff carefully, a rotten apple spoil the whole cart. Some associates inside were helpful, but this soured the whole experience. I did not get the name of the cashier associate, she wears white cloth on her head and there's only one on the till, tonight, October 11, 7:55 PM. I come here to buy items I need, not meet rude youngsters. There should be more choices available in the labour market. I'm not picky with price, but serious on customer experience. Clean up your roster.

The staff at this location are not well trained or motivated to deliver customer service,. It's not their fault, it's absentee owners and poor management. The manager here had been incredibly condescending and rude to me on more than one occasion. She is unhelpful, unkind, and just generally unpleasant. Because they are the only gig in town, rather than offer a superb customer experience, they have sunk into apathy and mediocrity. Order your stuff online, that's what we do.
I was very impressed by this location of Staples. I was looking at the small laptops and the clerk came right up offering assistance in a very pleasant non-pushy way. He was knowledgeable about the various products and service packages and was a tremendous help. I did end up purchasing the item and he also told me about the price-match guarantee. It was certàinly worth the drive. I found several other small gifts there too. I will definitely be going back there!
Worst shopping experience ever! Went there to purchase labels. No customers in the store just a group of employees hanging out at the front. I was approached by the manager and told I need to wear a mask. I am exempt, I said. He continued to follow me around the store. When I asked him to stop, he said to just get what I needed and to get out! I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Luckily I can get anything I need online and will never again spend my money at this or any other staples location!
I am 40 days outside of my 30 day warranty period. My new wireless headset is faulty and will no longer hold a charge. It is disappointing that Staples forces me to deal with the manufacturer on an issue like this. I just called the manufacturer (from the Staples parking lot), they agreed it is a defective product and will send me a replacement in the next 2 weeks. Staples has the product in the store and you would think they would like to ensure a positive customer experience and get me out the door with the replacement product in hand. It is unfortunate Staples feels customer experience is not their issue. I will be loyal to the manufacturer of this product, but not Staples. I was told I should have bought a warranty and could be helped if I did, but since I did not, this was not Staples issue. You missed the mark on this one Staples. I will be brand loyal but retailer agnostic.

Photocopying is a ripoff. They charge you a $3.00 service charge for doing it right away whether there are other people waiting or not. Just another cash grab on top of their high printing costs. Don't go here for printing, find a private business and help the little guy.
