I initially called Ben in the summer as I am in the process of starting an online store, he was very professional and sent me a questionnaire to fill out to better know my needs. I told him I wouldn’t need his services for a couple of months as I was getting some things out of the way with my business before I launched the store. I finally messaged him at the beginning of Nov to tell him I was ready to get my business launched, we set a date to meet on Saturday at 10 AM at a coffee place. I get there a few minutes early and as I’m waiting for him, he sends me a message at 9:56 to tell me that he would no longer be able to work with me as he no longer does e-commerce. FOUR MINUTES BEFORE OUR MEETING!! How incredibly rude and unprofessional, you couldn’t message me the night before?? I wasted a Saturday morning for this and he didn’t even have the decency to cancel on time. ******when I contacted Ben I let him know that I was not ready to launch my store yet, and that I would contact him when I needed his services, which he said was absolutely fine. I also scheduled an appointment to meet with him in Sep and he was the one that cancelled that appointment because something came up! And as for constantly checking up on me, sending me a few sentences every month to see where I’m at is not that serious sir, and when I replied back to you late, I told you something personal came up and I was apologetic, and you were very understanding. I NEVER SET UP A MEETING AND CANCELLED A FEW MINUTES BEFORE!! I told you I needed more time to get my finances together and once again you were very understanding, I let you know I needed time to get my business together! My business and this project is extremely important to me so don’t tell me it “didn’t seem important to me”. And as the “free advice” I got, what are you talking about??? What free advice did you give me???. And I am not upset about the fact that you don’t do e-commerce anymore, but that you basically blew me off with no warning! All you had to do was message me a day or two before and let me know you wouldn’t be able To work with me anymore, but you messaged me FOUR minutes before our coffee meeting while I was Sitting at second cup waiting for you! Not professional and EXTREMELY rude!******
