We rigorously researched website designers in Vancouver and chose Aroma Web Design because we preferred the a-la-carte services they offered. In other words, you get charged by the hour for the work they do (cost plus), no hidden costs. We also didn’t want to spend $10k on a custom website, built from scratch, because we felt that was too much horsepower for our needs. That said, although we didn’t want to pay the Ferrari price tag we wanted our website to look as if we did (not an easy task to achieve in this industry – believe me). Aroma Web Design starts with a template, that you pick and pay for, that they can then customize to your preference (which saves you big money). It’s true, the phone conversations are short and to the point; however that worked for us because we don’t need all the “fluff”. Aroma cuts out most, if not all, of the overhead costs which passes on the savings to you. If you are the type of person that needs a lot of face to face time with your designer at their office, and that will cost you, then Aroma Web Design is not for you. They can come to you, but their team works remotely, nationwide. This business model makes sense for their line of work. As a result, we never met Aroma Web Design in person, but we didn’t need to as we weren’t green to the industry and knew what we were looking for/needed out of a designer. We were so impressed with Aroma Web Design deliverables and keeping to a tight schedule that we also signed up with them to host our website. In addition, if we have questions, issues, or additions to the website (and we don’t want to do the edits ourselves) we can call upon Aroma Web Design and it’s taken care of. This ongoing level of service is great and just what we were looking for! We have received rave reviews on our website design, and couldn’t be more pleased.
