Tina is amazing! She colour corrected my brassy orange hair to an ashy violet-grey which I didn't think would have been able to do. All the ladies there are super sweet. Nice open space. Lots of parking and easy to get to by bus or walking. Price was amazing too! If I wasn't on my home to Ontario, I would be going back time and time again.

I visited this salon recently and had my eyebrows waxed. Swollen eyes for 2 days and at day 4 I still have bruising and scabs on both eyes as a result. My skin was torn off and I when I was handed the mirror to view the results, I was horrified to find that she had thinned my eye brows to a mere pencil line size!! One eye brow left shorter than the other and last but not least, one much thinner than the other! I was at a loss for words. I expected trained professionals and I came out looking like I was practice for someone who obviously failed miserably. The staff in this place payed more attention to gossip and talking about themselves rather than focus on the client in front of them and the experience felt as fake as some of the reviews I've read here praising their customer service. Terrible experience. Would not recommend.

So this was my first time at Uptown!! Rhonda was my stylist and she’s very friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted a cut and she knew exactly what I wanted. My next visit will be a few foils and a cut. Staff was very friendly and they followed all covid protocols. They offered me a coffee or tea. Thanks Rhonda for a fabulous cut and style!! You rock!!????

I wanted a new hair stylist so I went on their website and I was impressed. The bios of each hair stylist made it easy for me to choose the perfect stylist. I made my appointment and the receptionist was so pleasant. They called me the day before my appointment to confirm and she was so cheerful and professional. The minute I walked into the salon, I was so welcomed and they asked If I wanted a tea/coffee or water. Then I met my stylist Margie and she was so cheerful and professional. I immediately felt like I was talking to an old friend. We talked about what I wanted for color, cut and style. I felt relaxed and knew I was in professional care. During my visit I was so impressed with the salon decor and layout. Everyone was so polite, cheerful and professional. I absolutely was so impressed and love my stylist Margie. I love my new hair color cut and style. It was everything I asked for but more perfect! I cant wait to go back in 6 weeks.
