I have my Master's in Educational Psychology and in terms of instructional design and cost, Thinkific is the best. It offers better tools for effective learning experiences. It's pretty easy to create landing pages and upload content. I love that you can have discussion forums in your course for student engagement, as well as the option to accept assignments and return them with feedback (with the higher plans). My issue is that I am still working on my content, so I am learning the platform as I go. I am using the free plan now so I can fiddle around with my course, and then I am upgrading to a higher plan. I love that I have the option to practice my work and see how it looks before investing money. Customer service has been supportive and provides me with clear answers to my problems. They are always checking up on my progress to see how I am doing, too. That's pretty good considering I am using the free plan.

Its a really amazing platform and Thinkific has done it. There are a lot of CMS platforms available on the internet, but only Thinkific being able to provide a user friendly CMS platform that allow all users business or personal to share knowledge, experience, techniques with one click or tap. Looking at their option on how we can create a site of our own which is super easy. No need to know about heavy process stuff just to create your site. With their software/platform, I'm sure even a 10 year old can build his or her own site. Love it, so exciting, go Thinkific more power!

So I was a member on thinkific for almost a little bit over a year, until they announced their new pricing plan which didn't make sense to a lot of people. I posted that this was not the right move since competitors offer some of the missing feature on their platform included and that I won't have to pay for it on their platform, and that I will be moving to another platform. At this time I was a paying member on thinkific and my subscription did NOT expire to find myself blocked from their group due to this post "Unprofessional move", after sending an email I get this reply. "Thanks for reaching out! The Facebook Group for Thinkific users (Thinkific studio) is exclusively for active users of our platform. I apologize for any negative feelings created here. You had signaled that you were now a Teachable user instead. Unfortunately, due to the fact that competitors frequently plant their users in the group to instigate negative discussions and plant misinformation we're getting more strict about who can use the Group. Let me know if that helps, or if you have any other questions. Thanks again," I requested a clarification to what are they implying by planting users to spread misinformation? and clarified that up until 10 minutes before this message I was a paying thinkific member, but no answer.

I'm creating my first online course with Thinkific and I love the user-friendly drag-and-drop platform. It's super easy to upload my lessons and then drag them to rearrange them in the course. The landing page builder is phenomenal. My landing page is beautiful and the different elements you can add gave me so many ideas on which points I can emphasize. My students have had no trouble paying with Stripe and PayPal. Awesome and easy integrations, including MailChimp!

I found this the best easy, simple to use system to set my course up - I was looking for a free way initially. The upload of videos is fast, as many photos as we want - no limitations on anything!! Frankly there are only a few features in the paid version that we need when we have more people on board - so no feeling of missing out at all - blessed state of being - can concentrate on just giving value to others with our courses. Another thing I really loved was the 15 min quick, precise tour video to get me started. I learn fast and this hitched the deal for me - with of course more in-depth videos all along the way - should I need them. Really they think like me - give value and more value then the love pours into everything!

Thinkific is an amazing Platform for online course creators! Their staff are very professional and helpful and customer service is A+ They have a free subscription so you can test out the market, you can even monetize your course on a free subscription. For added features like offering coupon codes and more they offer different paid Subscriptions. They also provide a pdf document with 55 ways of promoting your online course so they really care about the course creator success. Their platform is intuitive with a bulk pdf and video uploader. I would say if you have a trade or specialization and you would like to share your knowledge then this is the right platform for you:)

Are you having trouble with customer support at Thinkific? it might be because of their terrible hiring process. I applied as a manager and was encouraged to apply for the customer service role instead because my experience would be really valuable in that role, and then I was screened out of the customer service role because I had previously applied as a manager. All by the same person. With hiring practices this inefficient I wouldn't be surprised if their customer support was struggling.

This is an amazing platform to build on as a developer. But sadly the customer support is really lacklustre. My customers have noted concerns surrounding small but impactful elements of the sales-side of things and Thinkific recommends I hire a paid developer to customize their platform for more money. For example you can't list your course as being on sale. There is only one price-entry point and you can't advertise sales, or limited time offers. Which is a really intrinsic part of a sales ecosystem.
