I placed an order on May 12th for a lift chair. I received the initial email notification that my order had been received and that orders shipped within 3-5 days, possibly 7-10 days. On May 25 I still hadn’t received a tracking notification so I emailed the company asking for an ETA on my order. I received a reply stating there was an error in the warehouse and that the chair just went out of stock…My order showed that it was in stock and even now you can go on their site and it states it is in stock. Furthermore they stated that it would be July 21st before it would be back in stock. I replied that was not acceptable and would like to cancel my order and my credit card refunded. No reply. I have emailed and called and called and called…no one answers the phone. I finally decided to call from another phone…low and behold someone answers the phone. But the moment I give her my order number and express that I want to cancel my order she becomes very passive. She tells me she will contact the warehouse and cancel my order and says is that all. I said I would like an email sent confirmation this cancellation as well as my money refunded ASAP. She says, you will get an email, now I have to answer other calls and hangs up. I have received no email confirming my cancellation. At this point I have no option but to believe this company is a scam and I am out almost $1300.
