Over Promised, Inexperienced, and Under Delivered - Beware! We retained GlobalGraphics in November of 2020 to build us an e-Commerce website for around $8000. We were very clear with our requirements on this project and they were noted in communication with the team, however the website fell short of our requirements and we felt that they had little to no experience with building e-commerce platforms. The fist issue was that deadlines were entirely missed. We were promised a website within 3-5 weeks, but ended up with an incomplete product after waiting 7 months. Some of the delay was on our end, but the majority was on the development team who were very slow to work on our site once they received the full payment. We often had to call or email them to get things moving and when we scheduled conference calls with the assigned developer, we had to go through some very rudimentary actions that we felt could have been handled without us having to walk through every step. Our site was to migrate from eBay to WooCommerce and utilized a plugin to do this. Codisto was selected by the developer, but this application did not achieve the requirements of uploading our data from ebay to our website. Much to our horror, this plugin actually contributed to wiping all 2,200 of our ebay listings. All of our data was lost and we had to re-list every single product again. This painstaking procedure cost us 2 months of down time before we could get everything back up again.... Photos, descriptions, item locations... All lost... The web development team blamed this catastrophe on us, but if they had done their due diligence and actually researched this plugin and tested it, this issue would have never taken place. Shame on you for leaving it up to us! We hired you because we didn't have website building experience! After rebuilding our listings, I managed to find a plugin from CED Commerce that was able to sync all of our data from ebay. Globalgraphics at this point told us that integrating this app was beyond their scope and they were going to charge us $90 an hour for support so thank goodness the app came with a great support team. Furthermore, they also recommended a 2-star application to integrate into our website for some additional functionality we inquired about. At this point, we decided to close the project and deal with the remaining site issues ourselves. About a week after the site went live, we experienced a cyber attack that forced over 4,000 fraudulent transactions on our Moneris plugin because no security, such as cloudflare was even installed by GlobalGraphics on our website. This took down our payment gateway for days and now we have some more issues to deal with. In short, we felt that we were promised a lot with a good timeline, but ended up getting what amounted to a pretty WordPress skin and a bunch of lost time, broken promises, and financial heartache. They didn't understand our needs, or the applications they were working with, and we hand to constantly chase them for the site to be completed. If you run any sort of professional e-commerce store and require something more complex, I'd recommend spending more money finding a more qualified company.

I waited to leave this feedback till I talk to another professional to make sure my feedback (2star) isn’t based on lack of knowledge.
