Wonderful place with great selections. All of the staff are very nice and helpful. I would rate five stars but the parking lot is very small and hard to get around. I wouldn't suggest going there in a large van.

Not family friendly. I brought my toddler into the store to pick up some fabric. I put her in an empty shopping cart (child seat part, that had a photo of how to properly accommodate a child). I was told I couldn't use the cart because they needed it for inventory. I promised I'd be quick and noted the multiple empty carts also available. Another staff member told me I wasn't allowed to use the cart because they didn't have insurance. The staff member offered to follow me to carry the bolts of fabric I needed. Neither of the carts changed position or were used in any way in our time in store. I noted that this was not helpful, that it's difficult to wrangle a toddler in a store and that's why parents use the child seat in carts and was essentially ignored. A very frustrating experience.

I was turned away from the door 10 minutes before closing, after telling her the exact thing I wanted. She said she couldn't do that because shes already turned people away from the door, to which she pointed at a group of people standing by their cars. She then proceeded to tell me that they were open until 5 the next day, but you are open until 5 today and wont let me in the store. I've been hurried and rushed and snapped at by the employees here but it's getting worse than ever. I hope it changes because I would rather spend less at your store but honestly feel unwelcomed and a bother ar yours where other places you walk into a smile, or a question on how to help.

I had exceptional customer service today. I am relatively new to quilting and I called the store and spoke to Danielle and explained to her that I wanted to make a lap quilt with Toronto Maple Leafs material that I had previously purchased. She gave me advise and suggestions for colours for my borders binding and backing . She will have it all ready for curbside pickup for me today . During this COVID pandemic it was such a pleasant experience. Thank you Danielle ..

I often wonder who owns this Fabricville as they are completely out of touch with their customers' reviews. Owners take a look at the staff - most are extremely rude. Bossy, snappy and arrogant are just some of the nicer qualities. You must have a policy of hiring the most unhappiest people in the city.They have been like this for decades!!! If the staff wasn't enough to deal with, you now have a new policy on fabric cuts. We were told yesterday that minimum cuts are now 1/3 meters. You can no longer buy 1/4 meter cuts. Seriously, what on earth is this all about??????

I thought there was a great selection there and the staff friendly. Prices can be hit or miss but there are sales and the frequent buyer can purchase a discount card. A little hard to find, being behind another building on Kenmount Road.

The store is well stocked and offers most fabrics and notions needed. It has a significant weakness in its staff, they are absolutely rude and distrespectful to customers. The store has a monopoly in St. John's on upholstery and fashion fabrics (there are other other quilting shops). I have to wonder if the staff are able to continue this way for years due to taking customes for granted? The situation has worsened with COVID 19 restrictions. They snap at customers if they misunderstand the arrows and after waiting in line for 30 minutes make you feel bad for taking the time you need to shop. This must be a problem that goes through to management. I have heard many customers say the give same feedback. My voice represents many. I recently ordered from a shop in East York Ontario and even received a hand written thank you note with my order...better than a push out the door at fabricville. Update: the store manager responded to my message very kindly and appropriately. I am hopeful that a culture change will occur in the store.

Hours aren’t good for people who work 9-5. Showed up at 5:15 and was not allowed into store. Meanwhile store listing says closure at 5:30??? Fix that if you’re not abiding your hours. Who would turn down business? Someone who has bad service.
