This is by far the best vet my family and I have ever been to! He's helped us with both our dog and cat and provided wonderful service at a reasonable price. This office is far from glamorous, however Dr.Saini is amazing. After a horrible experience at another local vet I went to him for a second opinion. He didn't try to guide me down a path of treatment which would cost me time and trauma on my dog. He assessed the issue promptly and kindly explained the diagnosis for my dog, making sure I understood everything clearly. He had compassion and was professional. He acted fast and aggressively toward taking the proper steps to making me girl well again. I felt confident that he made an accurate diagnosis right away and did everything in his power to help her. He is providing a free follow up and has answered every phone call today to help me. I felt as though his prices were extremely reasonable, and was so impressed and greatful that he cared. I have never written a review on anything on my life but I hesitated to go to this clinic because he isn't so up to speed on social media precense. He honestly helped me so much, I came into his clinic in tears, absolutely devastated and I left confident that everything will be okay and proper steps were taken to ensure that. He absolutely needs to spruce up the clinic and work on the website, but he has a big heart and is extremely knowledgable. At the end of the day you can decide what is most important to you. Dr. Saini is to be concise, an excellent veterinarian. We have 3 cats, one of which was recently diagnosed as diabetic. Dr. Saini is consistently professional, dedicated and comforting with them and ourselves. His prices are more than reasonable. He never tries to gouge. In fact, he has been generous with his services, the prices of which are consistently less than we've experienced elsewhere. 450$ To amputate my hamsters leg. Yes, to amputate a leg the size of a tic tac that was hanging by a thread, and to put a animal to sleep for a little while that weighs as much as a little toy car. The process took like 10 minutes. I was expecting 100$ or less but no. Its disgusting. They make money off your guilt. Go anywhere but here. I would love to see how the vets try and justify them charging a weeks income for the average person to do a tiny, 10 minute surgery on a animal that's the size of a computer mouse.

Love this place for simple vet procedures. The Vet has no staff, therefore limited overhead and that results in lower fees. We also order our Science Diet food at a lowee price as well

I lost my baby because the vet didn't do a good job spaying my female furbaby. After the surgery I told him something was wrong and he said I had nothing to worry about. I insisted several times, only to hear the same answer. Some days later I woke up to my baby dead in her kennel. I paid for a autopsy which showed she pasted away from an infected cyst on the site of the spay. Because of his shotty work on her spay job I lost my baby. I have never been able to get over her loss. She had just turned 3.

He explained everything very thoroughly and was able to answer all my questions with the utmost care. Nothing fancy here but great vet care and best of all very reasonable prices and he does not push for unnecessary tests like others. I highly recommend coming here!

So grateful for Dr. Saini. Our very sick elderly cat was being treated by another vet that was charging us an arm and a leg and he was getting worse every day. We needed a second opinion. Dr. Saini was thorough and his treatment effective. Although our cat will never recover from his kidney failure, I feel confident that we will be able to make him comfortable and as happy as we can now that we have all the information about his condition. His previous vet did not give us any options to treat his discomfort and sent us home with the wrong food for a kidney cat. The office is not fancy but the fees are reasonable and Dr. Saini is very accommodating and patient, even with worried cat parents who call him a little too often. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Disgusted. Charged $25 for "handling fee" to pick up our cremated cat's ashes after we had her euthanized by midtown mobile vet at our home. Midtown mobile told us that in 20 years they have never heard of a vet charging a fee to pick up a pet's ashes. Other issues as well, including being dismissive of my concerns during one visit there. Also tried to charge a $25 "paperwork fee" to forward records for a single vaccine for my cat to our new clinic. I've never had a vet charge me for documents before.

The Dr. will never push unnessasary items or proceedures, but will explain the best options and allow you to make the choice with his trust..This is the best place that has come to the Junction!

I have lived in this area since 1988 and have had several pets and experiences with ALL the vets in the area. Dr. Raina (may be misspelled) is the best bar none! I have two neighbours that I drove and accompanied to the vet visit. This guy is like an "animal whisperer". The asst. thought one pet was "feral" and anyone would has assumed the same due to the fear it displayed. As soon as the vet took over the cat went almost limp, allowing him to even clip her nails (no charge). Last week we had to have our pet rat euthanized as there was absolutely no hope and he was suffering. The vet took care of this for us immediately in a very sensitive kind fashion. Other vets I called wanted to charge for an exam and then to put it to sleep too! Never mind the horror stories I could go into about the other "money hungry" vets I have experienced in the area. It is a small practice so far but I would seriously refer anybody with a pet in any area of Toronto to go there for kind and reasonably priced services.

My male cat got sick for the first time so you can imagine the panic and urgency we felt when trying to get him to a clinic. I called the Junction West Animal Hospital and told him our situtation and asked if he could see us (we had never visited the clinic before.) Dr. Saini said for us to come in right away so we did.m Upon arriving, he saw us and our cat right away. Did a checkup and advised us of the best next steps. He even gave us a price run down before we said yes. I really appreciated that he didnt hide any costs and gave us options and let us know which steps should be done right away and which were optional. He was straight forward and considerate of the situtation. We left our cat there for a few hours to run some tests and came back to pick him up sooner than expected! The prices were very reasonable and better yet, our little guy is feeling better. :) I def would recommend this Animal hospital! Its a no frills kind of place but one that takes care of you pet with compassion and love. Thats whats most important.

Recently had a few experiences with this vet. On the first account, our family had to put down one of our cats as he was really old and was experiencing lots of problems. This vet took our cat and didn't really allow us any time to say goodbye or do anything of the sort whereas our new vet did allow us some time despite the current health crisis. On the second occasion, we called regarding our kitten that was obviously having some sort of issue. The vet here offered no usable recommendations or advice and no flexibility with appointments as we were concerned about our kitten's health. We took our kitten to another vet and it turns out she was suffering from a rare genetic disorder and was in pain. We had to put her down as this disorder usually means the kitten won't make it but at least we were able to do so before the kitten suffered any more than necessary. I was very disappointed with this vet and his attitude. Very impersonal, rude and showed very little compassion for our cats. Luckily we found another vet that was much better in all respects. This vet came across as someone who was only interested in the business side.
