Friendly no fuss vet

My 1.5 year old puppy recently became very ill, she belongs to my son that is recovering from surgery. I tried 10 clinics including 3 emergency ones and no one would take her in, with only an hour left they rushed in my puppy to help her. thankfully she is going to be okay but with all of these covid19 restrictions it was so sad to see that our beloved pets are innocent bystanders. I am forever grateful to Dr. Allen Aarabi and his team. We will be back in the future.

I love bringing my cat here. She is really scared and timid and the Dr. and the team here really know how to deal with my little love. I highly recommend coming here, firstly because I truly value honesty and this clinic really puts value in caring for their clients. I have never been asked to buy anything or do anything other than what is necessary. Compared to a lot of other places that ask you to take unnecessary treatment, this clinic is really honest and puts the care into the client. I am just happy I found such a good place :)

Good staff, receptionist / vet assistant was really good, friendly and helpful. The vet is good knows what he is doing but not big on communication. Could be a bit of never racking thing for new owners, doesn't mean he is not good. He is good just you might have to push to know more things about your furbaby

Last Saturday we were at the clinic for our cat's emergency urinal problems. But instead of asking us why we came, Dr Aarabi guessed or thought that we were there for regular vaccination. While making the appointment I told on the phone that we are dealing with urinal problems. However when we entered the clinic Dr only asked questions about our cat's vaccination history. He didn't even ask us why we came? When Dr took him in the room, (because of covid we are not allowed to enter there) I couldn't see what Dr were doing. When I realized that Dr were injecting him it was too late. Saturday afternoon when we got back home, our cat's situation worsened. He couldn't sleep and ate, also blood started to come from his urine. Today I took him to another vet and there they said it was a huge mistake to vaccinate him while he was dealing with urinal pain. Dr Aarabi vaccinated an ill cat, what kind of irresponsible behaviour is that? I am very very unsatisfied with the service. I will never visit this clinic again. Dr is not listening to his patients and do not even care.

Called to book in an appointment for my dogs dental cleaning and they book me in the next day first thing in the morning. I was a bit worried since it’s her first time and didn’t know what to expect, but all my answers were answered. Such a homey clinic that you and your pet can be comfortable, the staff are great and Dr. Aarabi really cares about your pets. The price that the clinic charges are very reasonable I was very happy with my visit and my dog loves them.

Incredible experience! Best establishment in the city, and I have been to over 5 veterinarians. I commute from the east end to come here- it is well worth it! Extremly clean, attentive, and thorough - all for very reasonable prices. The quality of service is superb, staff are knowledgable, and the veterinarian is very experienced. My English bulldog has had a couple of health problems but they are always resolved. It usually only takes 30 minutes plus he’s always showered with love and treats, so we never have an issue getting him in.

The staff here were so kind and gentle with me through the process of my cat’s end of life process. From the moment he got sick to the moment they pronounced him passed away they were the most gentle and kind and thoughtful vet and vet tech I’ve ever experienced. They were honest, and made sure I knew my options and choices, they were so patient. One of the things that first struck when my cat and I met them was how they reacted to him. They treated him like he was the first cat they had ever seen. They were so incredibly sweet. Just gentle and empathetic. Compassionate. They really helped make the process as humane as possible. Amazing vet clinic. Surely impressed. Staff and doctor are very friendly. Luna hated her other vet, and had to be muzzled when visiting him. But at Eglinton Dufferin Animal clinic Luna came in and was welcomed with open arms. Got her stitches up and her infection removed. It was so quick and Dr. Aarabis stitch work was amazing. You can barely even notice the scar from the stitches. Luna is doing very well and she's very happy. Thanks again to everyone at Eglinton Dufferin Animal Clinic

I come here often because our regular vet clinic don’t always have urgent availability. Every time I contacted Eglinton Dufferin Clinic, they were always able to take us in the same day. During our last visit, my dog needed surgery to remove a lump in his ear and they were able to accommodate us the same day and schedule us in for surgery right away, way ahead of our supposed initial appointment at our regular vet for the same lump. Dr. Aarabi and the ladies are great and very professional. They took good care of my dog every time we came. I would highly recommend them.

My dog was on the verge of going blind, the doctor treated him right away and prescribed him medication. My pup is now back to seeing normally and I couldn’t be happier. The clinic is very clean, the staff members are genuine and the doctor is so gentle and caring! I am so thankful to have found this clinic and to have somewhere for my dog where I know he is constantly treated with love and care.

First of all, I wasn't even allowed inside. Secondly, they gave my pup a whole bunch of shots that weren't really necessary. But since I wasn't allowed inside even with a mask on, so how do I know they even gave him his shots? Then the vet recommended I get my pup fixed at 6 months of age. He's hormonal and his plates haven't fused yet. Never get a dog fixed before they're fully developed. Any vet should know that. So I just got the overwhelming feeling like they don't actually care about my pups health and they're just trying to make money.

I am beyond impressed with Eglinton Dufferin Animal Clinic. Wednesday afternoon I had a very big time sensitive health scare with my long haired chihuahua. After calling around to other Clinics to try to get my fur baby an appointment and being told I have to wait (among other things) I called Eglinton Dufferin Animal Clinic. When I spoke to the Vet Tech/Receptionist on the phone she was very kind and had a calming tone to her voice which was fantastic as I was in pure panic mode. She told me that I could come in right away. Upon arrival to the clinic Dr. Aarabi came out to the front of the office and immediately started weighing and checking my dog over while I gave any and all necessary information to the Vet Tech/Receptionist. He did a complete exam from top to bottom as well as blood work and x-rays. A couple of hours later I was able to bring my dog home with medication and was given very thorough instructions on how to look after her. The next morning, within minutes of the clinic opening, Dr. Aarabi called to do a check-in and give me her bloodwork results. 48 hours later and my dog is starting to bounce back and you can tell she is feeling so much better and that’s all thanks to Dr. Aarabi and his team for their prompt action and exam work. Dr. Aarabi is a true vet who choose his career with the animals best in mind. I can not thank him and his Vet Tech/Receptionist enough for how they handled my dog and quite literally saved her life and everything that he did to help me in my dogs time of need. Thank you so much Dr. Aarabi and team for allowing me to continue having to have my prized possession in my life.

I visited this clinic because my cat had stomach problems. Communication during pandemic times was difficult, standing outside the clinic, right on busy Eglinton Ave, so I had to call back later. He tried to push the vet-exclusive cat food a little too hard and suggested my cat might have to take this low quality product (check the ingredient list!) indefinitely. So far, so underwhelming. The deal-breaker for me was when he declared he needed to sedate my pet in order to be able to take a blood sample. That set off a couple of red flags right there, but we were in an emergency situation. 3 hours and $50.- later, I was able to pick up my cat. For the next visit, I chose a different animal clinic - needless to say: no sedation was needed to get a blood sample. Be warned: if a vet cannot deal with your pet and needs to resort to sedation for a simple blood sample - better take it somewhere else.

AMAZING. We were very impressed from the moment we met Dr. Aarabi. He is a very skilled and knowledgable vet with exceptional people skills. His team of staff are also incredible. We received text reminders about each appointment and follow-up calls and emails to ensure everything went well. We became even more impressed when our puppy became really sick. Dr. Aarabi and staff went over and above to provide exceptional care and phenomenal customer service to our family while our puppy stayed with them for 8 days to get well. Dr. Aarabi called us daily with updates and everyone was incredibly patient in answering all our questions. The amazing thing is we went to pay the "bill" for the 7 days and was expecting a huge bill in light of the 24/7 round the clock care she received. We were shocked and incredibly grateful when we learned the "bill" was significantly less than what we expected to pay. Everything about our experience was incredibly positive during a very stressful time for our family. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Aarabi and their entire team. Your pet(s) will receive the most incredible care.

Dont accuse ppl of verbal abuse they never gave, just because someones not happy doesnt mean its abuse, whats abuse is taking advantage of someones finances and time!over a thousand dollars from a single mom with an epileic dog is abuse! Funny how my dogs liver and kidney enzyme are low but u failed to mention that , u didnt fail to try to sell me things my dog didnt need, u didnt fail to give him mutlple vaccines at one time which isnt safe for an epilepic dog! I came to see Dr Allen because my pug had a mass on his eyelid that needed to be removed. They were very friendly and took great care of my pug. It is now a week after his surgery and his eyelid is back to normal. Would highly recommend this clinic. Prices are very reasonable. They even gave me a free consultation which is normally 65 dollars. Since my pug hates having his nails done, they offered to do it complimentary when he was under anesthesia during surgery. Great service, thank you Eglinton Dufferin Animal Clinic.

I have been brining my pets here for over a year now and I couldn't be more pleased with the performance of the vet. We have a dog who we thought we had to put down because our previous vet was not able to figure out what the root of the problem was but as a last shot we came here and now our dog is so much better. I came to this clinic with my new puppy Romeo and I recieved the best service .. Romeo had a hernia removed and got neutered the same day and the Doctor called me to assure me that Romeo's surgery went well .. my puppy recovered beautifully and you can even tell the he got operated..
