In a panic, I brought my cat Tobaira here and the staff and doctor were incredibly friendly. The vet himself made it very clear what were optional/suggested payments and gave his honest thoughts without pressuring to do unnecessary tests. He even followed up several days later with a phone call.

saved my cats life she got a infection called pyometra and needed surgery he took her immediately thank God she she didn't want to wake up after the emergency spay he called me with updates every few hours she was up and home before closing time the next day the picture was taken when we got home think the cost was just under 1300 it was not 100% but it was less then half than other places 2800 at vet down the street and over 4000 at emergency vet he also is my regular vet for my dog marley no health problems thank God he enjoys seeing the vet till the shots comes out lol definetly recommend dr dayed to everyone he is a no bs vet and is not scared to let you know whats what well worth the money he is a great vet staff are also great and helpful and caring too

Best vet in the city, hands down. Dr. Dayed is hands down the best veterinarian I’ve ever met. I’ve tried so many and none actually care in the way that he does. You can tell that he is in this line of work because of his genuine care and love for animals. He will work with you in terms of budget and never, ever tries to oversell things you simply do not need. I’ve sent at least 7-10 people his way and always will recommend him very highly. He has a gentle demeanour with animals and people alike. Esther, the vet tech, is also excellent. I’ve taken my pets to him with emergencies three times now, and every time he went above and beyond to make me feel at ease (like providing me with his cell number over the weekend when my cat had an abscess, I was extremely worried and anxious). He called over the weekend to make sure he was okay. As a volunteer with two cat rescue organizations, I can also confirm that he works with those cats for little to nothing. Dr. Dayed and employees come with my utmost highest recommendation!!

I would suggest bringing your pet to Dundas West Animal Hospital. I was warned about the treatment here by another pet owner in the waiting area. Her concerns were validated when I received my cat after a non critical operation in a completely traumatic state. Please avoid.

I've has such a positive experience with Dr. Dayed and his team. I had to get my cat put down on very short notice-- and he was extremely warm, sympathetic and personable throughout the entire experience. He was very realistic with the options he gave me, and very reasonable with prices. Even though the subway was down that day and the receptionist was late (due to subway) he still gave me time and space to make a decision. This place doesn't have much sheen or show to it, but I suspect it's because they only charge what they need to to keep the place going, and staff and customers happy and healthy. Rest assured, your money is going into your pets' care, and not into unnecessary art on the walls or cutesyness. If I get another pet in the future, I will go out of my way to return. Highly recommended!!

I wasnt previously a client, but he offered to examine her; and even took a fair amount of time in answering my questions before i went for a visit. There was no pressure to follow through, either. I felt that his attention to my concerns were not only professional; but compassionate. My pup ended up having some minor surgery at this spot; I had a good feeling that my pup was in the right hands: it wasnt just a buisness transaction from the beginning, which isnt a very common practice. She had a perfect recovery as well. Very thankful I trusted someone elses recommendation to go here; its a gem. I plan to continue visiting.

Took my cat here. Dr Dayed is very professional and always give honest advise and tips to keep your pet healthy without spending too much money. The clinic is small, 1 person at a time only. Staff is nice too although it can pretty busy and you have to wait some time, they will be sure to get back to you.

We've been seeing Dr. Dyad now for 4 years with several breeding dogs. He often over stresses the concerns and tries to make sure the patient understands the full scope of what is going on. Sometimes I think his manner could come off as a tad alarmist or perhaps unknowingly condescending, but it's really that he is trying very hard to ensure the patient understands fully and this can get confusing at times. If you can see past this he is a real gem who genuinely cares about his patients and wants to ensure you fully understand your options. He has very competitive prices and isn't always trying to up-sell. Most importantly he clearly, genuinely wants to help. When I've been in a hurry to see him he always some how makes the time if he can. I've had him call me at home several times just to check on a dog. I've had to text him off hours and he was surprisingly gracious about it. The fact that he shares his personal cell number is baffling and surprising. He's often said, "call me if anything happens" and when it did he was quick to help and available for consult. He's been gracious with his time both in the office and on the phone. He provides great care.

I have been coming to this vet for over 2 years and have had nothing but the best experience. I really appreciate how Dr. Dayed takes the time to explain different options for treatment and keeps my budget in mind. After years of being afraid to take my cats to the vet because every time I took them elsewhere I would end up paying over $300 and being confused as to why, it's nice to be somewhere where I have some autonomy over my decisions. After my cat's surgery last year, the doctor even gave me his personal number just in case I had any questions or concerns over the weekend! I have never encountered a clinic where staff are so genuine and caring. I highly recommend this vet to everyone!

We recently visited Dr. Dayed and his lovely associates to do an ovariohysterectomy to my six year old dog. The procedure went well and my dog is healing up nicely. The Dr. and his staff explained the pre-op and the post-op repeatedly very well and they will also call to check up on your pet. I will not buy low gastro cans for my dog here since they are charging more than any other vet in Toronto. Nice try there but I know my prices. This vet should not take advantage of hard working customers! Response to the owner: Nice try there but the reason why you don't see my name in your system is because I was just walking by and wanted a few gastro cans for my dog. I always buy low fat gastro cans at other vets for much less so nice try there!

Because of Dr Dayed my dog’s cancer was detected early and 6 years later she is alive and doing really well! He also performed high risk dental surgery on my Senior cat and it all went really well. Dr. Dayed is the most compassionate vet I ever had. My cat was in a very bad accident and I couldn't afford the surgery. I would've had to put him to sleep if Dr. Dayed hadn't helped me in finding someone who could do the surgery for a greatly reduced price and himself taking care of the medication. My cat is now in recovery and I will be forever grateful. I wouldn't have my baby today if it wasn't for him.

Brought our cat in multiple times last minute for emergency visits due to Chronic Kidney Disease. They have always taken me in despite being booked solid and always provide me with more than one option for care depending on budget. They have been exemplary and have shown that they really do care about the animal. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Dr. Dayed is caring and attentive in treating our cat Jake. He truly cares about the well-being of our favourite buddy and explains in detail any procedure that might be necessary for Jake's health. He's also upfront about the necessity of procedures in relation to their cost, which we super appreciate. Anytime that Jake has taken medication or received vaccinations, Dr. Dayed gives us his personal number in case of side effects and also calls to follow up on Jake to make sure he's doing okay! The staff at the front desk are also really kind and helpful. I cannot recommend Dr. Dayed and this clinic enough.

Great experience taking my cat to this clinic. I’ll highlight some of the benefits Availability - I noticed an issue with my cat and wanted to take her in as soon as possible. Unlike other clinics, I was actually able to get a same day appointment with Dr Dayed. This was great because it saved me from going to an emergency vet. This was great with flexibility in booking further appointments/surgeries. Price - if you’re worried about getting price gouged, this is the place for you. Dr Dayed is not pushy and charged very fair prices for his checkups/procedures. Quality - he is great with the animals, and he is great with people as well. Empathetic guy, and knows everyone is coming in with different circumstances. (The techs are very kind as well) Overall, had a very positive experience with this clinic and would recommend for anyone looking around

Dr Dayed is an exceptional vet. It’s very clear that he is in his profession because he truly cares about the animals. My cat recently had dental surgery with him and it was overall a great experience. He was very clear on the options for treatment prior to the surgery. He was readily available after the surgery even providing his cell number in the case of concerns during off hours.He was quick to respond when I did have questions. He was very kind throughout. As with any previous visits he was more than fair in terms of pricing. I’d also like to say all of the other staff at the clinic are great too. They are very friendly and caring.
