Jan. 11, 2022 This review is a place-holder for what I hope will result in an open-minded, objective self-assessment by the clinic's leadership based on a client's feedback. I continue to be very affected by how Dr. Berman 'handled' me and "treated" my dying cat last Monday - the things that were said (way too much, that muddied what was crystal clear), and the things that were done (totally unnecessary). And the things not said that absolutely should have been and without prompting on my part. I'm not innocent in my animal companion's of 16 years completely needless, multiple trauma in his last day of life, and I have to live with that. I didn't witness what he went through, but I keep replaying the images in my mind and imagining what it was like for him. And I feel tremendous pain and unremitting guilt. But the difference is that I was facing the inevitable loss of a dear friend, emotional and in denial, and Dr. Berman was the authority, (supposedly) clear-headed, objective, truthful and compassionate - basic assumptions for medical professionals holding beings' lives in their hands. I initially considered writing privately to the clinic first, but finally decided that to be taken seriously, I should engage with the clinic's leadership publicly from the start. I welcome Dr. Corrigan, the clinic's owner, reaching out to me via email for my feedback and suggestions.

I sent an email to this vet clinic (their website encourages communication via email, since it is posted in their contact information) in December, regarding the prices for puppy vaccines. It wasn't long until I received an email response (not automated) that they were too busy to respond to emails and that I should call instead. I knew it wasn't an automated response because the email mentioned what I was inquiring about. I replied that I wasn't in a rush, and didn't mind waiting for an email response. I highly doubt that they were so busy with calls and emails that they couldn't get back to me. I provided all the information they would need to give me an estimate (puppy age, breed, and vaccination info provided by a breeder). They still have not responded to my email. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed with the customer service I received. It didn't feel very professional, and left a bad impression right from the get go. It isn't difficult to respond to emails (especially for inquiries that aren't very complex and are for routine services) so I was happy to make an appointment with another clinic in the area that was much more willing to respond to my inquiries. If you don't want to respond to emails, don't post your email address on your website. It's as simple as that.

My friend was asking Dr. Leung's for some urgent advice on her turtle. Although they only specialize in cats and dogs, Dr. Leung was very patient with my friend. She gave my friend options to choose, with possible outcomes of each decision. The technicians and the receptionists coordinated well with each other. I could tell the staff team have a passion for what they do. When I get a dog in the future, I would definitely come back to this clinic!

Dr. Leung and all the staff at Thornhill Veterinary Clinic are amazing! They are so knowledgeable and loving when it comes to our little puppy Teddy (even though he can sometimes be a handful!). During every visit, they take the time to answer all our questions and concerns. They go the extra mile every time, whether it be explaining different vaccinations, calling in to check up on Teddy when he is unwell or simply providing helpful suggestions for us new puppy owners. Even after several vaccinations, Teddy is always so excited to return and we are always welcomed with big smiles from the staff. I highly recommend Thornhill Veterinary Clinic to all puppy/dog owners as they provide outstanding service and care!

Some of the most kind, caring and considerate people who truly love animals. I've been a client here for 8 years now and every time I've needed anything they've always been amazing. Dr. Leung even opened up a spot for my two dogs last minute on a busy surgery day to make sure they got the care they needed. I couldn't be more grateful for their amazing service. We can't say enough good things about the Thornhill Veterinary Clinic and especially Dr. Leung. Dr. Leung began to see our dog, Jamie, shortly after she arrived to Canada from Hong Kong. Jamie never warmed up to her previous vet she had been seeing for over 12 years even though he loved and cared for her very much. But, Jamie warmed to Dr. Leung right away. Her kind, caring and gentle manner contributed to Jamie's long 16 1/2 years. We recently had to say good bye to our precious girl. My wife and I are so grateful to Dr. Leung and every one at the Thornhill Veterinary Clinic for everything they have done for Jamie.

He always calls me back promptly when I have questions and had always made himself available when any issues with my dogs occur. Their outstanding professionalism and caring service from the doctors and the staff ensure our animals return, year after year. The clinic is clean and run with strict Covid-19 protocols which is reassuring as we entrust our animals to their care. This clinic is extremely unprofessional and overpriced. I've been taking my dog here for over a year and I have to say they've done an awful job. All they care about it $ and do not respect their patients owners or their animals. The owner dr. Corrigan refused to call me back because he knew that he wasnt going to be able to overcharge me for unnecessary things like he has before to me and other patients of his. I wouldn't recommend this clinic as there are far better and more reasonable clinic in the area. I've personally changed clinic now and would never trust this place again.

I took my cat here today for the first time. Although they were fully booked, the receptionist was very empathetic and she was able to get us in on the same day so our cat could be seen by a vet. He was seen by Dr. Berman who was very attentive and professional. Overall great service from the wonderful staff. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

You would think medication would be the same price everywhere. Expect to overpay here. Otherwise good. Dr. Leung was great and caring. She really does care and follow up. The receptionist are nice and very helpful.

My parents asked me to write this review on their behalf. For years, they have taken their dogs to the Thornhill Vet Clinic, and have recommended it to other friends with dogs as well. Everyone feels like friends and family in the clinic, and it is worth the extra drive for them. Dr. Corrigan has treated a few ailments for my parents' dogs, including a recent badly broken leg, over the years and no other vet compares to his care and compassion for all animals!

I have recently starting going to this vet and all the doctors and staff are wonderful. My pet has seen Dr. Leung and Dr. Berman so far and they have gone above and beyond for her. She had early kidney disease and was treated with the utmost professionalism by these doctors. I would not go anywhere else. My kitty is doing much better since being in their care.

A veterinarian in this practice gave our cat depo-medrol and subcutaneous fluid, he suffered and died as a result of these medications according to the animal hospital. Our new family vet also informed us that depo-medrol should have never been used on a small cat. After learning about the effects of depo-medrol, I don’t understand why administering this medication never required an informed consent, especially since it is known to cause heart failure in cats. I don’t know whether the veterinarian regrets this at all, but she’ll never understand the pain she caused us and it hasn’t gotten any easier. Out of respect for the times the veterinarian has helped us, I won’t name her. But what I find incredibly disrespectful is how Amber, a veterinary technician at this practice kept trying to contact us to bring our other pets back. She left such a cheerful voicemail and texted us. If she had any respect at all, she wouldn’t be this insisting and insensitive. I don’t know what this person was thinking to harass us to bring our pets back here after they killed one of them.

My dog got very ill while traveling to Toronto. Turned out to be stress colitis exacerbated by tick fever which I didn't know she had. Dr. Cindy was expert in diagnosing, quickly treating and medicating. Today my doggy is alive and healthy as can be and Dr. Cindy was integal in this being so.
