This is the best vet in Toronto! The facilities are modern, bright and the staff are all so nice. The place is so clean, the dogs never get that "fear smell" that makes owners spell v-e-t so as not to alarm our best friends. They are all there because they love animals and it shows.

Absolutely the best vet in Toronto. We have been with Spinks for almost 4 years and our cat has never been happier or calmer than she is when she's with Dr. Mac. I actually believe that Dr. Mac was meant to be in this profession, and he has skills that you cannot learn in school. He is professional, knows his stuff and goes out of his way to go the extra mile. The staff here are the most caring and understanding people, and we are so grateful that Pickle (our cat) got to work with them for the last 4 years. Thank you so much! ????

I am very pleased to be the first to write a review for this fabulous vet clinic. This is an easy 5 star rating!! Dr Macgregor Spinks and his team have been treating our fur babies for years and have worked with us through many hard issues and ongoing health problems. He has always been compassionate, loving and professional! The clinic is stunning! It almost feels like you're in a spa! Our pups were treated with pats, treats and lots of love on the way in and on the way out. They helped reduced our furbaby's vet anxiety and he left feeling calm and happy! We highly recommend this experienced team for all your vet needs!!

Went here for the first time with my new pooch yesterday. My experience was quite pleasant! They got me in quickly for my small emergency. They sensed that I was working within a budget constraint and gave me a couple options, one of which was immediately affordable. The Doctor even introduced himself as "Adam" which I interpreted as an act of humility which I appreciated. I think we've found Ollie's permanent Vet! Dr. Spinks is quite personable and is a very down-to earth kind of guy. I had some issues with my cats. He would take the time to follow up with you and decide on the next step together. The clinic's approach is trustworthy, and he will recommend the service or medication only when necessary for your pet. All the staff are friendly and approachable.

Staff here are really sweet, Jocelyn is such a lovely person and the front desk ladies are wonderful. Unfortunately though, i wasn’t too thrilled with the newer vets response to my situation i had awhile back(couple months, late review) with my puppy. I was aware my breeder sucked, i wasn’t blinded to it, but he didn’t have to bash everything i went through behind the door. Your exam rooms aren’t sound proof. Regardless of that experience i had with him, i stand by that everyone here is knowledgable and caring. I also understand your frustration as i was frustrated as well but it didn’t make the situation any better.

Spinks has been providing excellent care to my senior dog for a number of years. The compassion and caring starts with Dr "Mac" and his wife Tanja, they obviously love animals. Dr Kleinberg and Dr Miller have been amazing and very knowledgeable as well. They are very willing to discuss treatment options that work best for your pet and you. I trust the entire team to provide the best care possible. Even when they are super busy, they have been very accessible and reponsive to treating my fur baby. Dr. Spinks did not even bother to speak to me personally before sending me a notice of termination of care because I hotly refused his receptionists’ demand to come into his clinic with my dog during the second COVID-19 lock-down. I reminded her that I am a HIGH risk paraplegic who just wanted heartworm meds for my dog and was not only left in lurch for the medication but now have to scramble and find a new vet in a lock-down over the holidays.

My dog Charlie was critically ill and was hospitalized last Thursday at the emergency clinic. We’ve reached out to Dr. Spinks on how to proceed with the meds to try to stabilize his condition. On Saturday evening my dog passed away. We were devastated with his rapid and violent death. And heartbroken ones more realizing that dr. Spinks or anyone of his stuff never called back to check on their patient. They never did. It was absolutely appalling to me to realize that the vet we chose to trust with the health of our beloved pet didn’t find time to check on his patient at the most critical time of his life. Would never trust or recommend dr. Spinks and his clinic to anyone.

I take my dog to the Spinks Clinic since he was a little puppy and he loves going there. I can't see myself taking my dog to any other vet. I would easily give more than 5 stars if it was possible. I’ve been taking my dog to Dr Spinks for 5 years and can’t say enough good things. First and foremost, he loves animals and you can see it in his interaction with his patients. He is always extremely responsive when I have any questions or concerns, and takes the time to follow up to see how Schmogie is doing after we’ve been in to see him. I find that he is very reasonable and does not recommend unnecessary tests or treatments. I’ve recommended Dr Spinks to many friends who have all been extremely happy with the care that he has provided to their furry friends as well.
