I know it is a stupid and boring name for a cat, but regardless, these people really stepped up and fixed his broken claw and got me in on an emergency rush basis. We have been bringing our puppy there for the last 5 months. He is now ready for neutering. We will shop around. This place is a cash grab. Over priced procedures and lots of unnassiary reasons to try to bill us. The pre opp exam was more then $100.00 to check his temp and see if teeth had grown in. They quoted us more then $400.00 for neutering with a visit totalling over $1100 to do that surgery and remover his wacky duclaws. More then double the costs of all the other vets in the area. Vists are exceptionally long for no reason and care from each vet is not consistent. As new pet owners we have become wise. Don't waist money away like we have.

We took our dog for vaccination and it was our first time in this hospital, Dr.SCHOFIELD diagnosed a very rare issue of our puppy and informed us and we could take care. I strongly recommend this hospital. The other medical professionals in the hospital are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Our dog loves visiting the vet, they provide excellent care here. Update: I have to say that I'm really disappointed with the quoted pricing of their neuter service. It's extremely expensive compared to other vets in the area. While we love the care, attention, and responsiveness of MVH the pricing for service does not feel fair.

I can not say enough about Martin Veterinary Hospital. They have been my pets go to for over 40 years. They work tirelessly to insure your pet gets the very best of care. You couldn't ask for a better team of Doctors. Dr. Conway (absolutely top notch) and Dr. Schofield always take the time to make sure you and your pets are comfortable during your visit and assist you with any results or medication you are given. The staff are amazing and educated in their field and truly care that your pet is well taken care of. You can tell how much everyone there loves animals. What can I say, these guys are the best!

We cannot speak highly enough of Martin Vet whose clients we have been since the 80s with all our various pets.Their service, friendliness and compassion are of high quality. Their outstanding care is commendable! One, of many examples, is an incident with our Maltese dog who was diagnosed diabetic at age 1. We were on holidays when the dog sitter had a problem. The dog was extremely lethargic. Dr.Conway , at 3am on a cold February morning, came, advised not to give any Insulin and returned to check at 7am and again at 7pm when she realized that the dog had been overdosed with Insulin. The dog sitter had misread the instructions. With the constant help of Dr.Conway, this dog survived 4 near deaths and lived to be 13 years old. The other vets, Dr.Schofield &Dr. Chen have also been extremely helpful with the various issues we’ve had with our other pets. They are a knowledgeable and super friendly staff. There are not enough positive adjectives to describe the service and dedication of everyone working at Martin Veterinary Hospital. Past and present Dr's, Techs and staff have been superlative with care and compassion with all the animals that come through their door, but not only for the four legged. Owners need the emotional support when their dear pets are not well., especially when end of life has to be given. This is always there at MVH. I know this as I have dealt with them for over 40 years.

While the staff seemed very friendly and courteous at first, once they knew they were not getting money from us their service was rude, condescending and extremely dissatisfactory. We recently moved near this area and needed a vet urgently since our dog had been having some issues with her eye and our usual vet was booked for the next two weeks. We found this vet on google listed as near us and affordable. The staff were super friendly and the consult seemed to go well, however, they were nowhere near affordable. We were asked to come for a follow up, which at the minimum would be $170, our vet normally has free follow ups but given they did not see our dog originally they would have to do a consult and then follow up. Seeing as our girl's eye had gotten better we chose not to follow up. After about 3 weeks the situation with her eye had returned, and at our vet's advise we called this vet and asked if they could refer us to a dog eye specialist and skip the follow up since we are currently tight on money. The receptionist listened to the whole scenario asked me to hold and passed me on to the vet. The vet answered rudely and appeared not to know anything, after I told her the whole situation she rudely asked why I didn't go to our vet after which I explained that our vet recommended this course of action since they hadn't seen her originally. The vet was rude and condescending, put me on hold and then came back and asked if a certain address was suitable, I said yes and she advised that she would reach out and get back to me once she has an appointment confirmed. The next day came and went and I had not received a call, since the matter is urgent I called the vet and left a voicemail explaining the reason for the call and asking for an update. I received a call from a receptionist who did not seem to have any knowledge of the situation, I had to explain the whole situation again after which she put me on hold, when she came back she said the specialist was booked until late March and it would be best to get another stain on her eye. Unfortunately our vet again is booked so we followed up with another vet closer to us and they are not only significantly cheaper but they advised that because the issue is with her eye, the medication given should have been bigger to last longer. We are getting this resolved quickly no thanks to the subpar service from Martin Veterinary Hospital.

I was referred to this veterinary hospital by my regular vet because my dog had to have an emergency extraction. My vet and I had separately contacted them over 5 times in a span of three weeks insisting on how critical the situation was. Every time I called, I would have to describe the situation over and over again and it seemed like they had not taken down my information during any of these calls. They had communicated to me that they were only seeing patients with critical conditions due to COVID-19 and that the doctor would have to evaluate my dog's condition to determine whether they could schedule an appointment. After providing all x-rays, referral forms, details, and following up multiple times, I never heard back (despite needing an EMERGENCY extraction without which could result in a jaw fracture). I sought the advice of another clinic who conducted a surgery within 3 days of my initial phone call and my dog is already recovering from surgery, while I still have yet to hear back from this office. Very poor response, especially during an emergency situation.

MVH has the most professional team I've ever seen before. They revived our cat when every hope was lost and gave him few more years of life. Every necessary procedure comes with detailed instructions. I wish some human doctors could care about their patients the same way, but not like "shot-to-go" conveyor.

I brought our foster dog in to see Dr. Chen today to sort out an ear issue and when I got home I realized that our own dog needed to see a vet. Considering it was a Saturday, our regular vet was closed, so without an appointment and even though they were closing within the hour, she happily agreed to see our dog, and now we have two happy pups on the mend.
