WOW! Dr. Raj is an amazing vet. I am extremely impressed with the care we have received, not once, not twice but over a few months period. Dr. Raj squeezed us in after hours for an emergency and followed up with us on a daily basis to insure my pup was okay. I cannot express how grateful I am to him, he saved my dogs life!! Our cat had been losing weight and we were very worried. Previous vets had told us they couldnt do much because our cat was so difficult. We switched to Dr Raj and he suggested giving our cat some gas sedation upon arrival so that bloodwork could be done. Something we didnt even know was an option and no other vet had suggested. We got the bloodwork, Dr Raj diagnosed the problem and our kitty is well on his way to being his old self after just a week of treatment!! I truly believe Dr Raj has extended the life of our cat by years and is the very best vet around. I highly recommend him!! He will do whatever it takes to help your pets!

This vet literally saved Lincoln’s life! I’m so thankful for his kind and caring heart towards our dog. I had been told by two other vets he needed to get his tail amputated, he bled out so much over the past couple of days and was being very lethargic. This vet took the time to really evaluate the situation and actually took into consideration what would be best for Lincoln. Lincoln still has his tale and a lot of stitches but he already seems like he's getting back to normal. We still have a long road of healing ahead of us however we have definitely been blessed and will get through this. Needed a refill for my dogs painkillers. Front desk said they would call us back and never did. My dog had a lump removed here as well. The worst experience ever. At the time of consultation he tried to avoid the surgery but we insisted that my dog needed it off as it was the size of a tennis ball. On the same day of the surgery we had a call saying that my dog was anxious when she woke up. I went to go pick her up and saw them giving her oxygen. My dog has never been like that with any of the other vets in the west coast of canada. To my surprise their was another person in scrubs who I think did the surgery. I asked the vet if he performed the surgery or the other guy in scrubs did. Obviously with body language he lied to me. This guy is a quack. He's from Calgary and make you think why would you move from Calgary Alberta to come to Toronto to be a vet? Malpractice? Had complaints there as well? As a dog owner who really cares about my dog, I would say stay away from this place and this vet. I highly recommend Yonge & Sheppard Animal Clinic. I have no invest interest with this business but they show professionalism, quality and experience. If you love your dog as much as I love mine. They deserve better service, quality and experience.

My cat was taken there by animal rescue ( city of pickering) it died poisoning i think as he was not sick the day before so we got a price to have the cat creamated so we could put it ashes woth my wife i yhought the price was ro high and told them so anyway we paid them and made arangemts to have it done they called my young sonand told him he had to come pick up the dat as i had posted a bad review on them and they would no longer provid service for himi went and picked up the cat and made other arangements to me this is a total lack of feelings for your costener and disprectful it bad enough my son lost his cat They did refund me my money

Awesome. Moving from Toronto I never thought I'd ever find another Veterinarian like our Vet in Toronto. Was still going back to our Vet and by transit because he was so good, honest, and very reasonable with prices. Being stopped twice on transit because of no dog hours I had to find someone closer and in conversation with a another dog owner she told me to go to Forestbrook. Her recommending me to go there was best recommendation I've been given in a very long time. Dr Raj and staff are exactly what a patient/client would want. Highly recommended by myself now as I've passed the word and my daughter will be going there come November with her new addition.

Dr. Raj hands down provides the best vet experience we have ever had. He has seen both our cat and puppy and every experience we have had has been nothing but positive. He is knowledgeable and kind, clearly loves what he does, and most definitely loves the animals. He asks lots of questions to get to know your pet and what their home life is like in order to give proper advice. He always gives our pets lots of attention and wants them to have a positive experience in his office. I find that he spends a lot of time with the pets in order to properly observe them during an appointment and I have never felt rushed out. The cost of visits are also extremely reasonable. I have never had such a great vet experience before and I cannot recommend him enough!

Our 10 year old cavalier spaniel was diagnosed with a heart condition, and we wanted a second opinion. Yesterday my daughter and I went to Forestbrook and met Dr Raj and his staff. We were IMPRESSED!!! He took his time to thoroughly examine and xray our dog, and then explained the details to us. We were there nearly an hour and left with a decent sized bill but it was still 2/3 of what our previous vet would have happily charged! Happy to have made the switch.

My wife and I brought our. beautiful 12 year old tricolor beagle RUSTY to DR RAJ for dental work as he was in so much pain.Dr Raj and his staff were amazing to deal with, the doctor sat on the floor to examine rusty instead of putting him on the table where he would be scared,I knew right then that he was a very caring doctor. Sadly while doing dental work on Rusty,he discovered tumors on his tonsils . Our worst fear had come to be ,RUSTY had cancer.But thanks to Dr Rajs dental work, Rusty was able to enjoy his life pain free for the next three months ,eating everything in sight and be the tail wagging ,happy dog he always was.Dr Raj and his staff were amazing with us through this whole ordeal,answering our concerns,seeing Rusty on the spot when he was not doing well. Sadly we had to put rusty to sleep on March 4th,and again Dr Raj and his staff were great ,kind and compassionate through to the end of Rustys life;Letting us stay with Rusty as long as we needed,even though the office was closed. We have dealt with a lot of veterinarians(we have rescued all our animals) over the last 15 years ...but never found a doctor and staff more caring than FORESTBROOK, They are not in this field for the almighty dollar, but because they genuinely care about pets and pet owners. Looking for a new vet and contacted them because we believe our dog has Giardia and is vomitting and had diarrhea since swimming in a new lake last weekend. She said they aren't accepting new patients until August! I said she'd likey be dead by then, she replies with "Ok". I was stunned at the lack of caring. Good to know before I went there. His prices are extremely reasonable and quite comparable to any other vet in the Pickering area. I hate to hear people complain about cost increases. At the end of the day , a veterinary clinic is a business. Like any other business they have overhead and need to make money to pay bills. They have rent, electricity and gas. They have to buy and maintain expensive equipment such as x-ray units, dental equipment etc. They have salaries to pay... The list goes on. Unfortunately, most veterinarians are underpaid for the quality of work they do. Any cost increase is justified as it is in any business. As their costs increase, you should expect yours to as well. As a pet owner it is my responsibly to insure I have the funds to care for and treat any ailments that may incur. It is not the vets responsibility to carry the burden or the debt of those who are either cheap or just irresponsible. Dr. Raj's wife is probably a God send to this clinic. Having her to insure that the costs of running a successful clinic are met, leaves Dr. Raj to focus solely on his patients and their care as he so much loves to do. Coupled together, they will surely keep this wonderful clinic up and running for many years to come.

My kitten at the time was very ill and we took him to the emergency vet hospital where they just basically dosed him up on pain killers and informed me there was nothing they could do and charged me a small fortune. The team graciously booked us in immediately and took amazing care of Zeus who is now 2 years old healthy and being a lovable brat. Best vet you can find ! Dr. Raj GENUINELY loves animals. This is someone doing a profession he is passionate about, and not just for a living. One of our dogs had a very traumatic incident when he was a puppy, and since then he is very defensive against vets. Dr. Raj took the time to understand this and build a lot of trust with him prior to treating him, not rushing us out for the next appointment. Fantastic experience. My dog tore his rear acl. Minor tear. Another vet went straight to recommending surgery. Dr. Raj encouraged he wanted to avoid surgery and walked me through the process to get my dog back to normal. Took 8 weeks with a visit in between. He never rushed me out of the office, he saved me $3000 and most of all he saved my dog who at the time was just under 2 years old from going through a gruesome surgery he didn’t need. Fantastic vet. We were recommended to go see Dr. Raj and we recommend everyone near and far to go see him.

I am so happy that we found Dr. Raj! Our dogs enjoy their visits with him and his staff, and especially love the endless Benny Bullys treats they get! Dr. Raj particularly has a nice connection with our 14.5 year old shih tzu who has experienced some problems with his teeth and arthritis lately. Dr. Raj performed tooth extractions on him beautifully, and helped us formulate a good plan to keep his arthritis at bay too. This vet has genuine love and respect for his patients.

ONE WORD AMAZING!!! our Little puppy got sick we went to a vet which charged us 400 just to determine what was the problem, but the problem was still not diagnosed...Then we came across dr.Raj as soon as we walked in we were treated with great respect with wonderful service and he was able to diagnose my dog's problem just by looking at her and with a simple check up!!! Although we just recently moved to Pickering and our experience with Dr. Raj goes back only a handful of months, we've had several visits to Forestbrook Pet Hospital. At least from our experience with other vets, Dr. Raj goes above and beyond the call of his duty, always being very accommodating as well as informative. He has been wonderful with our 2 cats. Specifically, he went out of his way to ensure that the last days of one of our cats, who recently passed away, were the best she could've had. We appreciate his support throughout. Great Vet!!!! He explains everything and he's not out to charge you for every little thing or for follow up visits. His philosophy is "why should I charge you again if I didn't solve the problem the first time? Instead of telling you to clean here, snip there, this Vet does the work for you. He cured my dog's chronic ear infection in 1 visit. Our previous vet charged about 30% more and charged every time you went in about the same thing or for a follow up even though he never managed to cure anything. The former Vet was pure cash grab, the complete opposite of Forestbrook!
