Dr. Vishnevsky removed, about two month ago, a cysts from my dog bottom eye lid. Before the surgery he took the time to explain me in detailed the process and the expected outcome. The surgery was successful and you can't see any scar. Thank you to the staff and the vet. Sara and Patrick

They take walk in emergency appointments. Receptionist was very kind and considerate and the doctor was gentle, honest and thorough in his examination of my cat. He didn't try and push me for anything he felt wasnt necessary but said it was an option if I wanted. Didn't push me to get my cat "updated" on any vaccinations. Mat cat was violently wrenching and in a span of 15 minutes it happened 7 or 8 times and my cat seemed clearly distressed and so after calling at least 5 different clinics closest to me and being told "the doctor isn't here", "we're fully booked" "no walk ins" "you should go to an emergency clinic" "next available appointment isn't for 2 hours" ... We finally got a "How soon can you get here." Low and behold when we arrived my cat seemed perfectly well... lol. The doctor suggested he possibly ate something bitter, or has a large hairball he was having trouble clearing but in the end... Better safe than sorry! He gave us some antacids to help with any nausea that may occur, so kept our bill at the lowest cost possible. This could go down in my books as one of the only times I've ever been to the vet and walked away paying no more than $100. Thanks for all your help Central Vaughan!

Dr. Arik is a caring and compassionate professional. We called on Saturday of the Canada Day weekend and Dr. Arik made it possible for us to bring our cat, Paprika, in to see him. Dr. Arik and his team are professional, kind and gentle. We have a rescue cat, given to us by our daughter, so this was the first time we visited a vet. We were promptly contacted with test results and we received a follow up email. I will also say that Dr. Arik was very fair on how he charged. We feel very lucky that we found Central Vaughan Animal Hospital!

All the staff at Central Vaughn are compassionate and dedicated to the animals in their care. Our dogs Ozzy and Zeppelin are never nervous or scared when we go there and the care they recieve is always top notch. No matter where I live in the city I will always use Central Vaughn Animal Hospital! As someone who works in animal rescue I have a lot of experience with different vet clinics and they are hands down one of the best teams I have ever seen. It is a joy to bring our pets there and we are so thankful for all that they do!

A wonderful experience! Booked my Jack Russell Terrier for a dental surgery/cleaning and one extraction. They are organized, very professional, and the communication with them is excellent! The vet called me before treatment to explain what he was going to do, and he called again during treatment to discuss whether extractions were necessary. This vet LISTENS, and he does not talk down to the public as if we don't understand the complexities of veterinary care. An excellent, efficient, professional, and extremely affordable experience. Can't recommend them enough, especially their dental clinic, for which they charge substantially less than vets in central Toronto. I know where I'm taking my dog for affordable, professional dental care in the future!!

If I could give this clinic 100 stars I would! Dr. Arik, Kelly and all the staff are incredible! They genuinely care about the well being of pets and getting them better. I can not say enough good things about this clinic, If you are looking for a good and honest vet who truly cares about animals this is the place! I had a terrible experience with multiple vets this week that ripped me off, hurt my dog put her through unnecessary procedures and medications and my dog only got worse. I lost hope in believing that there are any honest caring vets out there. When I ended up here they turned mine and my pets opinion around in a heart beat and provided me answers and care that we needed! I'm so grateful for the care they have given my pet!

My cat Milly had a good experience with this hospital. She had spay surgery done here. Everything went well and she's recovering really fast. The doctor did and amazing job! The other staff is caring and polite as well and called a few days after the surgery to check on the cat. Also, the business hours are convenient as you can schedule an appointment in the evening, and compared to other clinics you don't have to wait for weeks. Thank you for your professionalism and great love for animals ????

Hello. i brought my dog Sema 4 June 2020 to the Central Vaughan Animal Hospital He swallowed something and almost going to die. Dr Arik made urgent surgery. It was great job. He is very professional and kind doctor. He call me and asked about my dog even on weekends. My dog returned to normal live after 1 week. Now Sema happy healthy and smiles:) Thank you very much for excellent job . I recommend dr Arik for everyone. Also I would like to say thanks for his assistance Sarah. Just wanted to mention the great professional, human and compassionate attitude of Dr. Vishnevsky during my visit with my dog, Louie, who has lost his ability to work. He took extensive time and effort to investigate the problem because I was slowly losing my mind and finally referred us for a surgery, which has been done today. Fingers crossed! Unfortunately we did not make it to the doctor. I called in the morning to schedule appointment for our kitten and have been asked to come as soon as we can so doctor could see our kitten. The lady even asked me how far we leave to make sure we will be able to come quick. I called my husband and he was there in a 15 min. He was very surprised when the receptionist asked him to leave the kitten at the hospital or wait for an hour because the doctor has an operation. Frustrating :((

I have taken two of my dogs there, a Chihuahua (Max) and French Bulldog (Nacho). Everyone at this establishment is super nice, knowledgeable and professional. I have never had any issues with treatment or post treatment. Booking appointments is simple, you get reminders, and if needed they call and follow up. The best part about these guys is that they first want to treat your pet and are not into making profit out of it. Their prices are good, fair and reasonable and I have never felt like they do it for money. God bless the entire team at Central Vaughan Animal Hospital, keep up the good work and same enthusiasm. I am so happy that we found Dr.Arik. Always a pleasant visit and good vet care. He will take the time to answer all the questions and I always feel that my cats are in good care. Today we took my cat for dental cleaning and teeth (3) extraction. I was very nervous at first, however my cat came back home happy, not stressed and the procedure went really well! We had to drop of our cat in the morning, while they were doing tests such as blood test, X-ray and picked her up before closing. All this time we had clear communication and the doctor called to confirm what he will be doing before & during the procedure. I really appreciate when a doctor cares about owner’s concerns and takes a good care of our pets! Thank you, highly recommend!

Dr. Arik Vishnevsky is very professional. But his resepshionist is not friendly at all. On my request to get prescription she told me to come back by the end of the shift. When i questioned her on the product prising she was very defensive. Later on she complain to the manager about my concerns. In 1 hour manager called me saying that l shoud shoose another clinic. I was denied any service. I am sure Arik doesn't know what is going on behind him.

Only a 4* because I don't have another Vet to compare to. If I did, I am sure I would give them a 5*. Just like any new pet owner, I asked friends and checked Google for day for the best affordable Vet in my area. At the end it came to Google review, and calling Central Vaughan Animal Hospital to ask about pricing. I found their pricing for all their service (except) neutering to be very reasonable. Dr. Arik Vishnevsky is very polite, kind and takes his time to explain everything. Knock-on-wood that I haven't had to take my pup to Central Vaughan Animal Hospital for anything other than routine check up and shots, but I I don't think you have to worry about your pet if you take them there for anything.

Unprofessional front desk staff, long check in and check out times which is hard if you have a stressful pet. The dog was scheduled for 3 tests,but only 1 test was done without any reasonable explanation. And if you ask too many questions about your pet condition the vet will tell you that you don’t trust his care, and will kick your pet out of his practice even though the pet is scheduled for surgery.

Dr. Arik is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Besides this, he possesses a genuine love for animals. When our puppy got sick, he explained the possible cause for it and laid out every procedure and option step by step. He made our puppy feel really comfortable and important.
