So incredibly happy with my experience. We went in to have some lumps removed preemptively (my request). We have had a lumpectomy before at a different vet so I already had some expectations. Dr Rob and his team overwhelmingly exceeded those expectations. The surgery itself went really well, costing on the low side of the estimate, yet Dr Rob completed more work then anticipated. The VTs were phenomenal and followed up to ensure he was recovering well. Speaking of, his recovering was amazing. The incisions were sewn beautifully and healed quickly. Thank you so much for everything you've done for us!

My husband and I just got our first kitten and went to Woodstock Vet Hospital for his first checkup appointment and booster shot. I recently got a puppy, and have been taking him into Woodstock vet to get his shots. I have had the best experience there everytime I go in and so does my puppy. The staff is always so happy to see us, makes my boy feel welcomed and he always gets lots of pets and treats while there. I had to take my daughter with me once and they gave her coloring activities to help keep her occupied which she loved! Dr. Rob is such a great vet, very gentle and thorough while making sure my puppy is healthy. Any concerns I've had, he has made sure to go over everything with me, as well has give me pamphlets and tips and tricks on how to solve any problems I've been having! Dr. Rob always makes sure we go over everything each visit, and encourages me to bring my puppy in for monthly weigh ins and to help socialize him to the vet! I highly recommend this vet and will absolutely tell my friends to choose this vet when getting a new furry friend! I also love to see the clinic kitties!

My husband Bryan and I had our boy Sam to see Dr Rob since moving to Woodstock in October 2018. Sadly, last Monday April 8th, we had to say goodbye to our Sam and send him across the Rainbow Bridge. Even though Sam was only with us for 8 short years, his life was full of love. He brought us more joy than we thought possible. Saying goodbye, or rather see you later was not and never will be an easy part of life. When Dr Rob gave us the heartbreaking news, that Sam had lung cancer, we knew what our only option was. Now, I have been through this with many of my furbabies, and each one is so different. I have to say, in fact I want to tell the world, Woodstock Veterinary Hospital IS THE BEST PLACE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR FURBABIES! Dr. Rob, Vet Tech Crystal.... Your patience and understanding and kindest of words and actions, will never be forgotten, and will always be appreciated. Dr. Rob, from the bottoms of our hearts, we thank you for your genuine kindness and support. We had a difficult day, but your time and words with us, made everything just a bit easier. THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST !!! we have a large array of critters (2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 rabbits and some farm animals) woodstock vet hospital has squeezed us in, saw us for emergencies, given us amazing advice and does it all with our pets best interest in mind. They are friendly, kind and the most dedicated team. We moved from Toronto and have had multiple vets in the process, but woodstock vet hospital is the best ! Can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done !

After spending months and months of my poor dog going through pain and a thousand and hundreds of dollars spent on running the same tests at Woodstock veterinary hospital, I finally took my dog to Hickson Veterinary Clinic where I got an answer after a physical examination and a single sample sent to lab (for confirmation). If you want dog food- come here. If you want an answer and results go to Hickson.

We took our guinea pig to see Dr. Duschinsky for a swollen eye. She removed a piece of hay that had got stuck in his eye and she was so gentle, little Sammy didn't even squirm. Dr. Duschinsky also gave us some tips on feeding Sammy a healthy diet and printed out some information so we could have it handy at home. The other staff members were super kind and helpful too. Thank you so much for helping out our little piggie.

We have been patients of Woodstock Veterinary Hospital for quite some time. This is our second dog they have cared for. Cash is quite a handful but a great dog. WVH has been there since the beginning; helping socialize him at puppy preschool (best idea ever!!), comforting and managing Cash's health when he was getting into things he shouldn't have when he was little, and everything in between! (needles, allergies, nail trims, anal glands lol) ALL staff have been wonderful, helpful and kind with all areas of care. Dr Rob and Dr Esther are quick to bring you in when its needed, yet take their time doing full assessments and making and explaining recommendations. Their vet techs/assistants are irreplaceable, caring, and knowledgeable ! They are such a vital part of the clinic and we are lucky to work with all of them Deb and Cash

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Rob and his team at Woodstock Veterinary Hospital! As a first time puppy owner (an over protective and anxious owner at that), Dr. Rob and the vet techs have been so patient and good to us. They're always so informative and helpful. They have given me such great guidance and advice during this crazy journey and I am so thankful to them all! They're even accommodating with their schedule and will get you in right away for those times when you think you have a puppy emergency (but you actually don't- LOL). Vet tech Aislinn is also wonderful and so loving towards Chloe, my golden retriever puppy. I always make sure to schedule Chloe's appointment's when Aislinn is working! Chloe is showered with so much love and attention and treats at her appointments that she is always beyond excited to be there, regardless of the reason why. Highly recommend this clinic!!

Been a customer for a few years. This vet said my dog had food allergies & I must purchase food from them, which I did without hesitation. During the pandemic however I’ve been not able to work, as my job is not essential. I’ve been getting by, but have to be very careful with expenses like most people right now. My dogs food from this vet was over $100 a bag. I called the vet to see if there’s any substitute I could buy, they said no, and refused to offer any assistance or guidance. I called other vets and found the same food for about $20 cheaper. A few days later this vet called me and asked if I was going to order any dog food, I told the receptionist no, because of my financial situation I found another vet that that was able to give it to me for cheaper. I was given so much attitude, being told in a negative, threatening tone if the food wasn’t the same in any way it would be bad for the dog. I called back and asked to speak to the owner/vet, and was told he would call me back. When he called me back he refused to except any responsibility for the actions of his employee. In fact, he was angry that I called to make a complaint, continually citing that everyone in their office cares for animals. He was more concerned about the other vet at how they could be charging less for the same food, continually hassling me for their name. About two weeks after this phone call I received a letter from them telling me I was not welcome back. I understand that everyone has a bad day... this receptionist may have just been having a bad day but I do feel it’s important when you’re mistreated by an employee to bring it to a supervisors attention. My dog was always well treated at this vet, however, knowing my dog has food allergies and refusing to give any type of information or assistance, especially in a situation like a global pandemic where many people are having difficulty providing food for their own family, which includes my dog, ultimately shows the true lack of compassion this business has for animals if their only concern is the amount of money they make off of dog food. At the very least they could’ve shown some compassion or have been apologetic for the attitude of the receptionist.

Woodstock Veterinary Hospital is amazing – I won’t take my fur babies anywhere else! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, always making sure I understand what they are talking about. I am especially impressed with how well they handle my one cat who has such bad vet anxiety that he can get aggressive towards staff. Dr. Rob and the staff have been amazing with his issues. We’ve been able to work around his aggression enough to get him in for his check-ups, and the staff love and care for him just as much as my “easy” cat! I cannot say enough great things about Woodstock Vet Hospital!!!! They are truly AMAZING. A year ago this week we picked up our pup Steeler, and what a super awesome, but fairly bumpy road that has been! From thinking he might have parvo the very first day we had him (one of their lovely employees literally drove in the craziest ice storm to go and pick up the test from their partner vet Harris), to getting hit by a car, growing pains and ligement/hip issues - my dog is a literal walking health problem - they have been nothing but so supportive, gracious and caring! This past Thursday, Steeler cut his paw very deeply 45 minutes before I had to leave for a funeral. They were lifesavers. I ran him in and they looked after him while waiting to do his stitches and took care of him for the rest of the day while I was at the funeral and my spouse at work. Everyone who works there is just the best, they are always so happy and willing to help with whatever is needed and have always made me feel so much better about everything that we've been though with Steels! Steeler loves visiting the vet, he actually jumps out of the car to run to the door. You'd be crazy to take your pet anywhere but here!

ABSOLUTELY HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The nurses were great very polite and helpful, the doctor on the other hand.... I was to be charge 61$ for the clean health bill checkup but because my cat didnt end up having a clean bill, and we needed to chat more the doctor tells me (after I requested to know) that the price has gone up to 78$... so not only were the conversations dragged on way more than necessary they weren't even pertaining towards this specific cat I brought into the clinic for a checkup. We wasted atleast 15 mins of talking and him jamming his opinion on the raw diet my mother feeds her spynx.. the up charge was completely unnecessary! , he clearly doesn't understand the spynx breed. If you have one. I sincerely do not reccomend this place!!!
