I find the care they give towards your pet outstanding. They will ensure you are fully checked out. I do find their prices for exams and procedures to be slightly higher then some vets, however it is understandable since they have enough staff on during procedures to care should something go wrong. I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone looking for a vet or any second opinions.

Dr. Flanagan and Dr. Dennis have been our family vet for quite a few years. Having retrievers we have needed urgent care on several occasions and they have always been there for us. They have lots of great advice and are always willing to get answers to your questions if they are unsure. The staff is very friendly and inviting and great at accommodating schedules and making sure to give me reminder calls about appointments and any upcoming care. As cheesy as it sounds the truth is we always know that our pets are in good hands when we take them to Wellington Animal Hospital.

Driving down Wellington Avenue noticed a doberman running down the street took almost an hour to chase him down with the help of two other vehicles almost got hit several times by vehicles he must've been running for hours his feet were blistered his paws were bleeding finally cornered him in a backyard and took him immediately to Wellington animal hospital to be denied any services or help in anyway seeing that he is a stray or did not have a license brought him to my girlfriends work Pet Value where the owner bandaged his feet contacted Oxford veterinarian clinic who were happy to take in this scared hurt puppy with no concern of any money only the safety of this poor hurt Animal who was turned over to his owner thank you oxford animal clinic shame on Wellington it's not all about the mighty dollar you're supposed to care for animals????

They hosted an open house to the public on Saturday May 23rd and it was a nice opportunity to see the changes they made and meet the staff. Also it was my personal experience to meet Mrs. Schooley, wife of the late Dr. Schooley, founding vet of the Wellington Animal Hospital. What a lovely lady. She had only good things to say about the new look for the hospital. The staff there are very young and vibrant. What a pleasure to meet them. Wish them the best in their business!

Dr Liz is AMAZING, I got some great info & advice from her regarding dental procedures and flea treatments for my cat. She took the time to explain the details that made it so much easier to understand, and make the right choices to keep him happy and healthy. All the staff are super friendly, and the new waiting area looks great! Definitely my top choice for a vet in Woodstock :)

I took my beautiful fur baby Starla here because she was bloated and lethargic, they unfortunately informed me her splean had ruptured and needed to be euthanized. It killed me inside but they helped me threw it and even cried with me. They let me sit with my fur baby during the procedure and for a long while after to say my good bye and make my choice for her earn. Thanks guys I appreciate it and although I have a new fur baby I still cry about Starla

Dr.Liz and her team are amazing, They go above and beyond to help find a solution to your pets issues. My little baby girl was having intermittent urinary accidents, and her energy was down. With some test, we finally found out what was wrong with her. Now on her new diet she is back to her old self. The knowledge they shared with me and the patience they had with this worried mamma proves tat they do threat their patients like they are their own. Thanks you all for everything you do.

Place is a scam..they quoted me just under 500 bucks to get 2 cats shots a neutered..i get half the shots done and deworm and spend over 300..i call back to get follow up.shots and all of a sudden its a different price..another 400$ almost...buyer beware ..would not recomend this to anyone... also forgot to mention they never updated deworming results on computer so they could not tell me the results (after getting talked into more extensive stool sample) ...im updating 1 day later..got a call from the receptionist saying she talked to the owner and theyll do the neurer for 400 now...i think they pull prices out of no were!

We have been with Wellington Animal Hospital since the day we got our fur babies, and know that they are getting the best care possible. Dr Flanagan and Dr Dennis are two of the most kind hearted women we have ever met, and always treat our animals with such love. The staff are wonderful and really care. One of our animals was a rescue that battled severe anxiety which manifested itself into all kinds of physical symptoms. If it wasn't for the persistence of the staff in continuing to support both her and us, we wouldn't have the happy healthy fur baby we have today. We will be eternally grateful for the second chance in life they gave her.

And when they called back a few days later to see if my little furry pumpkin was doing well, it was flabbergasted, never did a vet call me later to see if things are well. Attention to detail, great attitudes, and a level of care above and beyond other vets I have been to, Wellington Animal Hospital has my full trust in keeping my dogs happy and healthy for years to come! Recently updated reception area and exam rooms have brought new life to the original building which give it a really clean and orderly appearance. Other vets I've been to have cut corners on pain meds, cleanliness, or simply just time with the doctor. Wellington sets the bar, and I've never seen another vet since I found them. Dr. Liz Dennis always provided excellent care for my pets. She clearly explains treatment options and plans along with the associated costs so that I can make informed decisions. i took my baby here the other day... i had been to another vet previously and they were pretty good.. i dont knock anyone who cares enough to help.. anyways... i went there only to find the worst.... but.. she Dr Flannagan) was sooooo thorough with him!!!!.. and i loved him sooo darn much that money was not important to me... if she talks too much like someone stated... then dont own any animal.!!!.. thats just how she processes in her mind and she writes things down... ive never ever seen a vet do that in my life... though the news was bad... i found her the best.... thank you Dr Flannagan... and i apologize for running out on you but at least you gave him the ultimate going over... and that means more than enough.....

Dr. Flanagan is a lovely caring and knowledgeable vet. My only criticism of her care is that she needs to talk less. It can be difficult to talk with her when she tends to over talk during visits. Dr. Dennis who is also at Wellington Animal Hospital is much easier going and talks less during the visit. Dr. Flanagan often talks very very fast...just needs to slow down. That said, it is a very caring veterinary clinic and recommended.

That was very refreshing from my last vet, very nice website as well.The Dr and staff is very knowledgeable, I was even sent home with a computer print out of the exam and things the DR and I discussed. Didn't have s vet. My puppy was sick called everywhere. Rather than see the puppy duffer they've ogled me in and worked with me and my puppy. Calling checking up on and visits until she was back to health. Spoil her rotten now with every visit we have eith them. They took the stress and made a happy place for me and my dog. Was a client there for 30 years. Found the new vet Dr Dennis unprofessional and the staff asked the same questions over and over. Would no longer recommend this vet. Found a much better one. Staff do not need to ask you the same question over and over again. Not sure how that helps my pet. just shows lack of training and incompetent staffing.

Compassionate care!! There are no words accurate enough to describe our experience with Dr Donna, Dr Liz and the ENTIRE team at Wellington Animal Hospital. When our 8yr old Sharpei became very ill, we felt we just weren’t getting anywhere with answers and treatments. I had heard that WAH was familiar with this breed and booked our guy in for a consultation. We were immediately blown away by the kind compassionate care the team offered our highly nervous, anxious little guy. Providing a private space where he can relax and feel safe, frequent phone calls checking in on him, emails, photos of him being looked after while he was admitted, endless resources and support. Their care doesn’t stop when you leave their office. They do their research and follow up and refer you to highly trained specialists when needed. Fantastic support system! Highly, highly recommend this team.
