Today I brought my pet Yorkie to Windsor Pet Hospital for a growth above his mouth and below his eye. The veterinarian was able to remove the tumor and everything went wonderfully. Dukes is a little sleepy tonight, that is expected but he is still eating and going outside just fine. I received excellent service, the vet was caring, very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, down to earth and experienced. I highly recommend this Pet Hospital very much. Great service!

I have taken my cats here on 3 seperate occasions -all a good experience. I like that they run a very no frills practice and that my money spent there goes directly to getting my pet better ( I dont need a fancy waiting room). Dr. is very friendly and takes the time to explain everything to you and listens to your questions. Never pressures me to get expensive treatments or tests that my pet may or may not need. Very upfront on your choices and the costs and ultimately lets you decide what is best for your pet.

Competent, reliable, fair prices, the doctor explains everything to You in case your pet is sick and need which kind of treatment and he takes his time to explain it to You. He answered every question I had and took his time for explanations. if I needed to come into his office with one (or more) of my pets, I got always an appointment to come into the office in the next one or two days, no long waiting time to get an appointment, no long waiting time in the office, I never had more then one other person with a pet before me. I went the last 15 years to Windsor Pet Hospital, for me, the doctor is the best and reliable veterinarian in Windsor.

Took my Dog here Tuesday , Feb 2nd , 2016 to get his Paw fixed as my regular Vet was not in . My Dogs Paw is still screwed up , it is not healed , he is still limping but of course , I had to pay a Bill of almost 350 Dollars for my Dog to still be the same as he was when I took him there . I tried to tell this Vet what was wrong with my Dog but he did not listen . In my opinion , I would not even take a Dead Cat to this Bozo as he does not listen to the Pet Owner , does what he wants , shows zero compassion towards your Pet , try's to tell you what to do with your Pet and something that should have gotten my Dog back up and around after a day or 2 as my regular Vet has done it 3 times has not happened after 6 days . The Guy is just an Idiot in my opinion

Dr. Tekavec is fantastic. Very gentle with my puppy Chloe. He takes the time to explain and answer questions. When he spayed my dog he did a great job and it healed up beautifully. I am very happy as a client and would highly recommend.

I called for my cat, whom sadly needed to be put down. She was old and in pain. I was audibly upset and the first person who answered was short and unsympathetic, then the vet grabbed the phone and told me I would have to wait 4 days, including weekend if I didn't go there in 20 minutes time. Customer service gets negative stars.

Worst hospital to take your pet too. I completely regret bringing my dog here. They misdiagnosed my dogs symptoms and he became much worse, and now he's dead. Stay far away from Windsor Pet Hospital.

If possible I'd go lower. The negative reviews on this place are true. I got a pup who had his first set of puppy shots at this place (so I was not present). When I went to take my little guy for his second shots ( at my vets). The vet was called to clarify something. However did not want to talk and sounded upset that he was called. My current vet just wanted to be sure we didnt over vacate and he didnt care. He rudely said all you need to know is on the paper and hung up. Welfare of the animals does not matter to him. He's not anyone I'd take my pets to see ever. Edit: You did not clarify anything. Never once did you say it was because you had not seen me yourself. I was not your patient but my pup was so that should have not been an issue. The way the call was handled was by no means professional and rude. Also as if I'm not helping because you went to a different vet sounded bitter to me. The phone call was all I needed to confirm that I wouldn't take him back at any point. Even if I was walking distance it's also strange that you happen to have my number when I myself had never been to see you? I know the wonderful people I got him from would have made sure all was taken care of so that it would have not been incorrect like this

We've been going here for over 14 years the vet is very knowledgeable and always takes time to explain things. Nothing fancy like other large scale pet hospitals but looks aren't always what makes a great experience it is the caring and attention of thorough one on one care that is important. He's saved our dogs many times over through the years. Reasonable pricing and plans available
