If I could give NO STARS I would ! This Vet now is NOT the same as years ago! That is why these reviews differ so much. THIS VET IS A BUTCHER!! Brought in my kitten for a simple spade procedure. The surgery was a complete hack job! Even the site of the incision was horrible! I knew something wasn't right, having taken other kittens for this procedure in the past and they came home nothing like this! Needless to say I took her home and not even a day of couple days later she was bleeding out! We took her back in only for a rush job which was closed with staples cause the vet was not in, and told to come back in the morning. We return home and the staples pop! Now am furious and extremely worried. She had an infection from the butcher job. We had no choice but to go to the Emerge on Walker Rd. Thanks for the amazing job from the vets at Walker Rd and of course a 500. Which we shouldn't have had to pay! If the procedure was done properly the first time! I wish I could posts the photos of this. Oh almost forgot she also brought home fleas! ???????????????????????? DO NOT USE THIS VET!!! If I could Sue I would!!

My kitten went into for a spay and she ended up with a bad infection (internal and external) which cost hundreds more in fees to get her back to normal (at another vet, of course). I would not recommend at all. One month later and she is finally home.

I went to this vet with my friend who wanted her two cats to get FIV tests. The receptionist was wonderful but the vet (Dr. Aslan) was terrible. No bed side manner, he insisted on giving both cats rabies vaccinations even though they're indoor-only, and one of them just had his rabies vaccine when he was adopted a few weeks ago. The aforementioned cat was muzzled because he can be bitey but the muzzle was not secured properly and the cat got it off twice because he was so scared and freaking out. From the waiting room I could hear the shrieks of the stressed out cat and I could tell from the panic in the vet's voice that he was scared when dealing with the muzzled cat. When given the opportunity, the vet was more interested in making eye contact with, and talking directly to, me rather than my friend, the actual pet parent. He also talked over my friend when she tried to explain to the vet that the one cat had received a rabies vaccine a few weeks ago. He also pushed for my friend to buy prescription food and didn't explain what it was supposed to be for. I've been to plenty of vets with a cat who had a history of biting, and for the 15 years that I had that cat, not one vet tried to muzzle him or insist on giving him a rabies vaccine. They might have had to put on leather gauntlets to handle him on occasion, but they didn't stress him out with a muzzle. Dreadful vet. There are much better ones in the area.

I have been to a few different veterinarians and I decided to go here because it was so close to where I live and a little bit out of desperation because my dog was sick and my regular vet didn't really help but here at Rivard I received care for him from a vet who seem to care very much and was considerate of my finances. I highly recommend this vet to anyone

Unfortunately, it’s close by and I would rather go out of my way to a different veterinary clinic. The staff are absolutely amazing and friendly and professional, but the vet himself, complete opposite. I haven’t been there in a couple years, and won’t give it another chance.

Had Tweek's nails cut, Angie did a great job even though Tweek is a scared giant suck. Doctor came in to give her shots, he was able to calm her down and easily administer the shot. Good selection of healthy premium dog food.

This place would be given a negative if possible. Today my father had to make the heartbreaking decision to put down his best friend / our family dog of 14 years. As our “Boomer’s” lifeless body laid peacefully on the table, the vet gave him some time alone. Upon returning to the room, the vet then explained to my dad that dog is very heavy and he’ll need my father’s assistant to lift and move the dog as the other doctor was unable due to his sore back. My father was very thrown off by this request and reluctantly assisted the vet in transferring our dog’s body into the gerny. The vet than requested that my father assist him and loading our beloved dog’s lifeless yet still warm body into the freezer- it was here my father finally drew the line. What a disgusting and unempethetic request to make of a grieving owner. My fathers last memory of his best friend is lugging his dead body down a hallway to a freezer. I am appalled and furious. This vet needs to get t together and take responsibility for this horrible lack of empathy and judgment. You and your pets deserve a vet who takes care. Go elsewhere.

I recently had an emergency with my cat and I brought him into the Vets at the animal hospital. They were honest, upfront with costs and were straight to the point. My cat is recovering and I am truly grateful for the wonderful staff who helped get my sweet boy better. Highly Recommend this animal hospital. I will definitely be taking my cat here from now on. Its a bit of a drive but worth it for me. They truly care about your pet and their health. God bless

took my male cat in to be nuetured and when he was brought out to me,they did not properly close the cage door so the car jumped out and ran down the road.they claimed the cage was faulty but that was simply not the case.good thing my cat ended up knowing his sense of direction,he walked about 15 blocks back home!...thankfully

Worst animal hospital. The vet only care's about taking your money, over charging you, up sell you their over charged products. Vet is unprofessional, the last time I brought my dog in the staff pulled on his hair to get him to open his mouth which he didn't open at all because he was so scared ????????

I never even got to see the vet. I brought my scared little kitten for his first chck up. I had a 2:30 appointment. When I arrived at 2:15, rather than tell me they're backed up and ask me to reschedule, I was told to sit and wait. I sat and waited until 3:15. By that time my kitten was so mortified I had to leave and take him home. I had no idea how much longer it would even be if I had waited since the staff kept telling me "couple more minutes." The staff never even asked me to reschedule or apologize for their lack of concern for their clients and the animals.

I visited this vet clinic yesterday with my pet shasha, Dr Over there did a thorough exam and explained in detail about pet health. Dr showed a very good love for pet, and looks like Dr trying to take my pet very well. I love this place and will recommend other people to go this clinic.

Nice people, but they told me my dog didn't have fleas but I still purchased flea meds from here which are not a known brand. It actually attracted fleas onto my dog. I wont go back because of this. This brand cannot be found anywhere on the internet. What a waste of money.
