The staffs and veterinarians at Brack Animal Hospital are both very knowledgeable and you can tell they have a genuine care for all types of animals both my male and female dogs see dr. House homes or dr. Drew I can greatly recommend all three of them it may be kind of pricier than other veterinarian hospitals but again you get what you pay for also they have a wide selection of specialty foods for dogs cats and I will say that doctor house saved my female dog who turned out to be very sick with a inflammatory bowel disease brought her back from Near Death to a healthy dog I hope if you choose to use bracks as your Animal Hospital you are as satisfied as I have been with their care towards people and all animals alike always willing to speak on the phone with you even the veterinarians great staff great people well-rounded place very highly recommended

Only vet in Essex County that has a bird doctor and I have a bird emergency. But was told too bad the avian Dr.House isn't available until maybe friday--so you will need to call around. On calling around every other vet told me to call Brack back for an emergency and still I was still denied any care for my African grey parrot. DONT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!

Brought a rescued Amazon parrot to Dr. House for a general check-up and nail trim. Despite the Covid restrictions, she was able to give us a thorough report and some diet suggestions for our bird. Very helpful!

No matter how devastated I am with having to put my sweet Lucky-boy to sleep two days ago, I cannot say enough about how sweet Dr. A. Holmes and the team at Brack were. She is afraid of her own shadow and I was very nervous that I could not be at the appointment with her, understandably due to the COVID-19 protocols. They made sure she was at ease during her visit, and made sure to take their time so that she was as comfortable as she could be during her exam. I really appreciate this more than I can say because I know how stressful it is for her to make the trip to the vet. We brought our new puppy here and we're very pleased with every aspect. All of the staff were very friendly, the doctor was amazing. They made our puppy's experience great, he was having such a good time he didn't even react to his shots. They treated him so well and even gave him a new toy to bring home. You pay for a clean, friendly, professional veterinary environment. The entire staff from doctors, techs, and reception get to know you and your pets on a personal level. They send personalized post cards in the mail to remind you of upcoming checkups, I have mine on the fridge for decoration. Wouldn't go anywhere else for the care of my family pets.

I really love this vet and Dr. House is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly and of course we've been in loads of times over the years with our 4 pets. If we do have to wait for appointments it isn't long and I trust them to provide excellent care. The facility is clean and there is a lot of variety in their store. If we need tests or medications or shots, everything is explained to us. I feel that they don't push me to buy things/services that my pets do not need and I appreciate that. They're always helping some charity too. When we had to put our cat down they were very caring in the entire process. I'm giving 4 stars because now that our pets are aging and require more frequent care, we can't afford to get all of our care at Brack's. Our cat required dental surgery and another vet quoted 1/2 the price of Brack's; we just can't justify using them for the big ticket items...our cat is 14 so we have to make these decisions (we saved over $500). So, if you want amazing customer service and care, this is the place to go but that top-notch service does have a big price tag.

Melanie, Carrie, Martha just to name a few are always very pleasant when you call. My dog Takoda especially loves Danielle since she spoils her with cookies every time we visit. Would highly recommend Bracks to anyone looking for a vet that cares about their Animal.

I recently took my cat in because she was sick.. unfortunately it was her time :(.. all the staff were so sweet and patient. They made a clay paw print for me at no extra charge, and I just got a sympathy card in the mail that was signed by all the staff with another little paw print that i can frame. I have been bringing my pets to Brack's for about 25 years. The staff is very friendly even when they are super busy. The vets I have dealt with at Brack's over the year have all been very professional while still showing so much compassion. My pets love going there, they get so excited to see their favourite people. Everyone there, in turn, loves my pets. I trust the vets there with my precious babies so that says a lot lol because I would never let anyone near them if I didn't have 100% faith and trust in their care and how well they relate to their clients. I recommend them to anyone who needs to find a good vet!

Being dealing with bracks for a long time with my pets and today I'm needing to put my senior cat to sleep so she's not suffering a slow death.I get told theres no appointments available, I'm sorry but where is your compassion for the animal.We don't know when our pets are going to pass or get ill that this service would be needed to help our pets. Just disgusted that I was told to shop around to find a place that could help me.Unbelievable

My dog was in pain from dental problems and since she was 15 years old had to decide what to do. The doctors were extremely helpful and explained the options. We went ahead with the surgery and now have a happy pain free dog minus a few teeth. Very dedicated and compassionate doctors and staff.

These guys are not that great. I called for an emergency with my dog and their prices were outrageous and they told me that they would not help my dog without a full payment and my dog needed serious medical attention. I explained that I am a low income individual and they told me that it didn't matter, they did not offer a payment plan and they wouldn't see my dog at all. They gave me a number to a pet financing place that was not helpful at all and they told me I needed a co signer. I will never go here and I will never recommend this place to anyone who is need of emergency care. GO SEE DR. GUNJ AT LAUZON HOSPITAL

I would give a lower rating but 1 is the lowest. My first cat recently had cancer and I wanted to do what I could for him. I was prescribed medicines which I thought would prolong his life but to no avail as he had to be put down two months later. All the money and suffering having to take medicines. We know somebody made some money. I just took my other cat in for urinary issue. It ended up he was very stressed and they decided to give him a bath to clean up some urine. He took off and ended him injuring his paws. The cat went in for help and came out with an injury to his paws.

Brack Animal Hospital has always been a wonderful,caring environment for my beloved pets. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Drew at Bracks for over 20 years . He is gentle,sensitive and intelligent and has been the best Veterinarian I have ever met. He takes the time to explain everything about your pet, what to expect, etc,he never makes you feel rushed or that he isn't interested. And the vet techs and assistants are also very caring and knowledgeable and put you at ease,explaining everything you need to know about your pet's test,etc. I would highly recommend bringing your pets to Bracks.

The doctor called 5 minutes after we left my cat and dog AND SAID THE CAT SCRATCHED HIM AND MY DOG BIT HIM!!!! WHAT A JOKE THIS PLACE IS!!!! THEY SAID MY DOG NEEDED TO BE QUARANTINE FOR 10 DAYS. Horrible. I went in to trim my dogs nails on a Saturday ( with an appointment that I had booked a week earlier) they were 30 minutes late to see me, then the nurse refused to trim my dogs nails stating on her notes it showed " He doesn't like his ears touched".

These people really love their job and it shows. Simply wonderful! The professionalism is commendable also as they go into detail about any concerns you may have. I went based on reviews, as I recently moved and wasn't able to visit my old vet, therefore now I am also giving them the 5 star review as they're simply amazing! They truly care & it shows!
