Dr. Ghuman and staff (Taylor I believe her name was) were super friendly and helpful. They took time to explain the steps necessary to help me transport my dog to the EU and sat down with make sure everything was done properly for a smooth transition. Doctor Ghuman is a good, honest man and I believe he has your animals best interest at heart. All the best to you guys! And if you ever head out this way feel free to drop me a line!

i had gotten a new kitten and BEFORE we took her to the vet we had gone in person to the vet and asked for a quote. we found it was well priced and it was close by so we did end up going to take her in for her vaccinations. that was a mistake, we had paid more than what the quote said and when brought her in today for the booster shots and we actually paid more! than the first vaccinations and they gave her treatmenats we didn’t want we are now transferring her to another vet were we take our other to cats too and we found out today that the other vet was cheaper and we DONT have to pay for a consultation which was $39 here and free at the other vet.

This is an excellent veterinary hospital. My German Shepherd, Luna, has receieved EXCELLENT care here ever since we stepped foot in this clinic. Our previous vet had told us that Luna tore her CCL (cranial cruciate ligament) and required surgery. Because our old vet seemed shady, I asked a close friend for a personal referral, and she told me Peace Arch had saved her dog from terrible seizures so I trusted her advice. They prepped Luna for surgery, and realized that nothing was torn so they did not go ahead with the surgery. They did remove a wart from her thigh since it had already been shaved. We drive here from NORTH VANCOUVER which is over an hour away for us, because of the continuously outstanding service. Taylor is amazing, and she calls us often and always gets us an appointment when we need to come in. The two doctors are very caring and skilled. They call us every 2 days to follow up with Luna and how she’s doing. We feel that our dog is in safe hands here and that the staff at this clinic treat her like their own pet. I trust them very much. Thank you guys so much for all your help and support. I’m so lucky to have found Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital!

They won’t take a VERY EXPENSIVE unopened bag of dog food back. It makes my dog itchy which they said was impossible and wouldn’t refund my money. Back to finding an honest vet out there if anyone knows of one.

I would never even consider stepping foot in this repulsive establishment again, they caused my beautiful cat so much trauma for what should be a routine procedure (spaying). The stitches they gave her originally were improper and loose, and they sized her cone incorrectly, so she ripped them out the first night and I was consoling a confused kitten all night and holding her stitches together. The next day they restitched her, charged $50 to fix their mistake, and wrapped tape around her feet saying that she must have gotten them out with her feet which was confirmed by another vet could not have been the case. She could barely walk for a week because of the tape, and it was incredibly painful for her to have them removed. Hearing her cries as I removed it broke my heart. DO NOT take your fur babies here, please.

Having taken my dog and my elderly dad's dog to these vets since they opened, I have always been very pleased with the kind, caring and responsive attention they have provided to our pets. When the sad day came to day goodbye to my 17 year old chihuahua Nacho a couple years ago, the entire team were very compassionate and empathetic. Tomorrow we are bringing home a new puppy and I will definitely be taking our new girl to see them.

Taken my lab here. She had worms as a puppy and she got horrably sick, the breeder said she was dewormed when i got her, but a week later she was getting sick. I brought my pup here, the vets were kind, helpful and polite. The receptionist was polite as well.

Took my dog here to get a broken dew claw removed. Right now, they are doing contactless appointments where you meet the nurse/assistants at the door, and the doctor will call you to describe what is happening. Friendly staff and fair prices. Lastly, their long hours of operation is super helpful.

Great place to go for your pets health, I went today with my mom to have an ill cat checked out, and they knew better then a previous vet we visited the day before, unfortunately kitty wasn't healthy and had to be put to sleep in the end. The vet doctor was very nice and sympathetic. I recommended this vet to my mom, I would recommend to anyone. They're great.

Peace arch animal hospital has to be the most loving and caring facility to bring your animal. From the assistants to the vet, this animal hospital deserves 5 stars because of their service alone. On top of that their facility is excellent! I can’t say enough good things about this place. We had to bring one of our dogs in for an emergency and they readily accepted him on a moment's notice. The injury was traumatic and we thought we were going to have to euthanize him. Dr. Ghuman was efficient, kind and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to reassure me and was thorough with his exam and treatment of our dog. He not only eased my fear of losing my dog and gave me hope for him, but he tended to the injuries and my boy is at home recovering with no complications so far. I am very grateful for their readiness to help, abilities and empathy.

My 13.5 year old Pomeranian, Chico, was dying... I took him in to animal emergency on the evening of June 25 (he had irregular breathing patterns). Both the vet and the vets assistant were so nice. It was one of the hardest nights of my life, and even though this isn't my usual vet, I felt like they really cared. Thank you for making this difficult evening run as smoothly as you could.

Took a 3-month-old kitten who hadn’t had a bowel movement in three days, and we feared a blockage. Dr. Burke suggested an x-ray to check. Altogether this cost $400, which we thought was okay considering it included a consult ($75) for the x-ray result. We were told the doctor would call in a few hours...no call. I called to check if there was anything wrong, and was told that the doctor had to perform an emergency c-section. Fair enough, although perhaps for $400, someone might have called me to let me know earlier. I was told the doctor would call by 10:00 the next morning...no call. We’re still worried about our kitten and have received no feedback, so I call after 10:00am and am reminded by the receptionist again about the c-section of the previous night. She tells me the x-ray showed no problem (I suppose that’s my $75 consult). She adds that they’ll call the next day to check up on our kitten...no call.

Honestly they have horrible bedside manners. They may be the “best” or cheapest facility in white rock. But that doesn’t mean much when they are disrespectful to you and your animals. I don’t recommend this place at all. I really recommend driving your pet to murrayville animal hospital if you want someone who genuinely will take care of your family members.

I have been taking my dog there for the past 3 years and all the staff have always been great. They call with a reminder of your appointment and follow up with a call asking how my dog is doing afterwards. The vets have been knowledgeable they always look to my dog's past history to see if anything in the past could be causing her present issues. Their hours of operation are incredibly helpful as well.

Disappointed that took advantage of our trust and way overcharged us for a simple check up and did not even follow up after we asked for a call form the vet. We gave them up opportunity to explain, instead they defended their decision and would not listen to us and call us back; hence why we are giving this poor review. I think they deserve 5 stars solely based on this — but on top of that they are excellent at what they do, are so accommodating with their hours, and have reasonable prices unlike many veterinary hospitals. My name is Sadie , I brought my baby boots there yesterday after she had some kind of accident or something . I just knew something was really wrong , so I called everywhere and no one was willing to help my baby . Then I called peace arch and everyone there was so incredibly helpful and kind , they helped my baby boots not be in pain anymore :’( The veterinarian and and veterinarian assistant care more for the animals more then I could have ever asked for . 1400 quote for minor bite to cats lip. She maybe just needed iv or antihistamine at most not xray and blood work that was invoiced. When I entered no one was in the front room I had to.say hello 3 times and someome came finally then I was asked if I had an appointment when clearly its an emergency. Anytime we have called they are always their to help. Provided wonderful care of our dog while getting his teeth cleaned. Highly recommend this to anyone that is a pet lover.

I had to have my 20 yr old dog Brodie given euthanasia to eliviate his suffering... he was not able to be transported at the time... the vet and his assistant came all the way to Langley to conduct the procedure for me... they were kind and caring and explained the steps as we went along... they took his body and over saw private cremation for me and in just a few days they had Brodie's ashes in a nice boxed urn ready for me to pick up... it cost me $650... and was worth the money! ????

Since first bringing our dogs, Thorby and Kippy to this hospital in June 2013, we never once considered taking them to any other veterinarians. This hospital is spacious, very clean, well-organized with plenty of modern equipment. The hospital has extended hours and we've always found the Staff friendly. We are very pleased with the professional, kind and respectful care by Dr. Virk and Dr. Ghuman. We also appreciate their ethical business practices, i.e. no upselling, scare tactics, or nasty surprises in their billing, their fees are more than fair. These two veterinarians are a welcome addition to our community. We recommend them to anyone in the area needing excellent veterinary care for their pets. Needless to say, they have been not only punctual, they have also been very generous with their time. We wish them many successful years of practice.

place is a scam, over charge, won’t re prescribe the same medicine for a reaccuring issue without coming in and paying for a visit. funny how you can do that as a human but not for a pet. you have to pay for the visit just to be prescribed medicine. the first time i went they tried to charge me 500 for bloodwork and other tests for a literal cut on my dogs foot, thankfully the front desk girl explained that i didn’t need to pay for all of the suggestions but the vet sure wanted me to pay! i’ll take my money and my dog back to our old vet an hour away before i come back here.

This is my second visit to Peace Arch for my cats regular dental cleaning and I will definitely come again. First off, pricing for dental cleaning is extremely reasonable when in comparison to other offices. Even though I live downtown Vancouver, it was worth the journey to Surrey because of the money I saved. Secondly, the service I received was excellent from beginning to end. When I arrived I found out that my cat had an accident in his carrier. The staff immediately offered to wash the bag. They called me as soon as the procedure was complete to let me know the status of my little guys and also followed up with me the next day. The staff were incredible with making sure my cats were taken care of and offered me helpful solutions for oral care. I wish I remembered their names but the two female technicians I dealt with were fantastic! Thanks for the great service!

After going to a couple other vets I learned that this vet, specifically “Dr” Virk doesn’t know much other than how to write up a bill. P.S. Don’t bother writing a response. I should’ve read the reviews before coming here since instead of owning up to your f ups, you just get defensive. Try Murrayville animal hospital or dolphin.

Not a good experience. Payed $1000 to diagnose my dogs hip and walking problems. Never got a call back with the results. Called a week later and told the vet was busy and call back.... nothing. Same at one month and 3 months. Now getting a copy of the results and going to another vet for diagnosis. A waist of time and money. Search for another vet!!!

Absolutely rubbish! Worst Vet I have been to. Very Poor service, unprofessional Drs who are not reliable and responsible for anything but to find a way to charge their client. This vet doesn't really care about the health of your pet! Don't event waste your time. This place is nothing but finding ways to get money out of clients.

Dr. Virk and Dr. Ghuman are hardworking and trustworthy veterinarians. Their clinic is open seven days a week, and the hours cannot be beat. We have switched all five of our pets to this clinic since we found these doctors. When one of our dogs was very sick, the doctor made sure to phone us at home with test results immediately. We are very happy we found you, Drs. Virk and Ghuman! :)

An excellent experience! Got a convenient appointment within days. Clinic was clean and had a fresh, modern vibe. We were taken directly into a private exam room and only had to wait minutes to see the vet! Dr Ghuman was very friendly, down to earth and didn't try to upsell us on any unnecessary treatments, tests or products. I feel that the prices were very reasonable (I have been charged way more by other vets in the past). Overall, an excellent experience and would be my first choice of clinic if needed in the future.

We have been taking our dog Bo here for several years, and have had excellent experiences. Dr. Virk and Dr. Ghuman are very knowledgeable, caring, and are willing to take the time to answer questions and make sure you are satisfied with your visit. They have always offered us options on a situation, and don't try to push us in one direction or another, which we really appreciate. The staff is great, regular extended hours are great, and excellent rates. I highly recommend.

I have taken my pets to peace arch vet clinic a few times. I have mainly gone for routine stuff and also an emergency once when my dog Kali had a allergic reaction and her face swelled up. The doctors that I have seen there have been great. I have been a lifetime pet owner and have been to numerous vets throughout my life. I can tell you through experience that their prices are very reasonable and fair. It upsets me when people say that vets only care about the money(like a review below). My daughter wants to be a vet and we have been researching costs, it costs north of 300k to become a vet these days. It will take a lifetime to pay that off. One review below states go get a prescription and get the medicine online for your pet, for what to save a few buck's. There is very poor regulation of online pet pharmacies, the medicines you are getting online can be counterfit or expired and can potentially hurt your pet.

I found this vet very rude, kept me waiting for 30 minutes in spite of having an appointment and it wasn't like he was dealing with an emergency, he was on his cell phone! I would not recommend this vet, there are far better ones in the area and now you're completely denying I was a client! This practice is a joke as are the Vets who own it.

Money Grab. I took my dog here to get fast treatment for pneumonia. I knew it was pneumonia because it happened a few months earlier. The vet insisted I do all these tests (multiple X-rays, blood work)and 1200 later I left. She got diagnosed with pneumonia which I already knew. When my dog first had pneumonia a few months earlier that vet only charged me 680... Completely disheartening.

Best veterinarians around!! Both Dr Ghuman and Dr Virk have been taking care of my senior dog for the past few years with great care. They always provide her with a thorough exam even if she had just been there a week prior. They also always provide me an estimate before proceeding with any treatment which I really like (never any hidden costs). All their staff has always been so helpful as well. Taylor and Megan are so lovely and have been there since we started. They are always on top of my little girls health and following up with me. Will continue to come here for life with all of my fur babies

I would highly advise anyone visiting this clinic NOT to purchase any medications from them as they are highly overpriced. If this is your vet, ask them for a prescription ONLY and purchase the very same drugs from the petpharmacist.ca for a fraction of a price. Also the DR scrubbed my dog so hard she was bleeding afterwards. When I called to ask them to at least match the prices online as their prices were outrageous, he refused and cited his expenses.

My husband and I have been going to this Vet for 2 years now for our two dogs (American Bulldog and a Havanese/Pom). We visit this vet a lot because our American Bulldog has a lot of issues. The staff and doctors at this vet have been incredibly amazing and I can't say enough positive things about them. We have always had a positive experience. They go above and beyond their duties. The best part about this vet is they are honest with you and will give you a straight answer. Dr. Virk and Ghuman have been amazing to us and our dogs. They are always available to take your calls and concerns. We love TAYLOR because she has a passion for what she does and always helps us out. As you know vet visits are never fun because they are costly and time consuming, but the fact that they are so sweet and caring to our dogs is all that matters. Side note - Both of our dogs love the people at the vet so much that they get excited to go to the vet! lol THANK YOU to all the staff at PEACE ARCH for everything you do for Eve!

This place is terrible. I brought my new puppy in to check for a scratch on his eye and left with a puppy that now has eye problems but no scratch. Unnecessary procedures and testing that’s now caused problems. This place just wants to make money.
