I absolutely love Caulfield Vet. The staff are friendly and helpful and the veterinarian is knowledgeable and great with with animals. Not to mention, he's quite handsome. ???? The office is clean and inviting and they aren't way over priced like some places. I definitely recommend Caulfield Veterinary Hospital.

A perfect Vet clinic in your area. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. My dog Mocha had some emergency and they can squeeze me in the same day. Doctor is super helpful and patient with us. I’ve sent few friends to this place. Even we live close to Ambleside, but we’d rather drive 10 mins more to get the best advices.

In all my years of owning dogs, I have never met a more attentive, thorough, knowledgeable and caring vet. Dr. McDonald has so much patience and gives plenty of time to answer all my questions and address every concern I have about my newly adopted 5+ Year old dog. I trust his opinion implicitly regarding which steps to take towards his care. A wonderful, positive experience. I highly recommend this Vet.

We've brought our cats and new puppy here for the last few months. Dr. McKenzie (I think that's his name) is fantastic. He is very kind and patient with our pets to put them at ease, which goes a long way with our skittish kitties. His answers to our questions are thoughtful, informative, and well-researched, and he's been happy to discuss all of our options when we've had to make medical decisions.

Dr Polderman is very efficient, knowledgeable and really cares about the animals in need for help (patients...) He really rescued my beloved cat Michael 2 years ago after we had a very bad experience at the Animal Hospital in Vancouver. Highly recommended! I have six Himalayan cats and I am very glad to have such a trustworthy vet to go when needed!

It's difficult to find an honest vet these days who doesn't try to swindle money from you, also one who can provide you an accurate and informed diagnosis. I've been to several vets in the last several years for my aging chihuahua. Delbrook, Westview, Blueridge and most recently, Caulfield. Blueridge is good, Westview ok, and stay away from Delbrook. Caulfield and my visits seeing veterinarin Pjeerdo has left me with the best impression due to his accuracy of diagnosis as well as his explanations of such. His manners with handling my dog being stressed and difficult to handle at the time were firm yet gentle. I highly recommend.

If you want the best possible experience for your fur baby and yourself, you will take them here. Dr. Mcdonald is absolutely phenomenal with our Cleo ever since when she was a baby. He makes her feel very comfortable and she is not one that warms up easily. He always keeps us calm in tricky situations and gives the best advice possible. I have never been so at ease or comfortable going to the vet. The receptionists ladies are so amazing as well and always so helpful. I mean it when I say that you need to go here. I don't write reviews ever but for them I feel like I have to. Thank You guys for all you do/have done for Cleo.

Our beloved dog, a rescue from SPCA in Hong Kong has been handled with exceptional care, patience, kindness and perfect medical treatment in her final 4 years following our move from Hong Kong. The advice received was always spot on, helping our dog to recover from or coping well with several ailments over the years. When it was time to say good bye, the team again showed professional care exceptional empathy, kindness and understanding, thus making the very sad final time at the clinic and beyond bearable. Couldn't think of a better team of Dr. and assistants to take care of your pet. On top of all that, the charges and fees are very, very reasonable as well.

We've been going here for almost all of our 10-year-old dog's life. When we went elsewhere she started losing hair, and that vet couldn't figure out why. So we came back to Caulfield and Dr.Polderman thought it might be her thyroid. He said the test cost $2000 but if we put her on the medication, at a very low dose for a week or two, he would be able to determine if it was helping and with no real adverse side effects. We did and she improved enough for him to confirm that it was the thyroid. In a similar manner, he has been both a knowledgeable (both experienced and keeping up to date) and practical vet. We have recommended him to several friends and they have been happy with his knowledge and practical approach. Between him and his colleague, sometimes you end up with the other vet, but at least they don't contradict each other the way two vets did at the clinic we briefly went to.

The staff and doctors at the Caulfeild Veterinary Clinic treat patients and guardians with care and professionalism. They are experts at handling animals, always managing even the squirmiest of beasts. The doctors are very reassuring. The staff is friendly. Both my animals and I are happy to come here.
