Despite Co-VID and the chaos they made great implementations to keep everyone safe. They didn't try to upsell and only suggested what was reasonable for the area we live in as far as vaccines and preventions go. Happy to have brought my puppy here. Akira came out tail wagging and happy despite not being able to go inside with her for her vaccines.

They didnt turn me away and were so caring. The other animal hospitals in North bay couldn't help me. One animal hospital in North Bay said they weren't allowed to steal clients. Called to get my cat fixed and was told I had to get my INDOOR cat all his needles first before they would fix him. JUST A MONEY SCAM and I was not very impressed with the service as they were rude and just wanted to transfer my call instead of helping me, I would not recommend this place to anyone. To North Bay we go to Cassells way more reasonable, friendly, and affordable.!

How can people who are supposed to be professionals turn away sick and injured pets and act so rude towards clients asking for assistance. This animal hospital is run by people who have no compassion whatsoever! I would not recommend this place to anyone it’s just to bad there are not other animal hospitals in the area. People should be able to make appointments for their pets when they are sick and have an emergency. Nobody should be turned away just because they had another vet somewhere else.

Called them cause my dog was dying and they said because he wasn't a client it wasn't there problem. My dog of 12 yrs ended up dying..also price things twice as much almost of what it's worth. They seem nice but reality couldn't care less.

In general I have always had an amazing experience with the vets. I had a scary situation over the weekend and they were honest that he could wait till Tuesday so I did not have to pay for the after hours fee. Before I could call when they opened the vet herself had already called to follow up and they made room to see him that morning. They could of pushed to see him over the weekend and it would of costed me tons of money but instead they were honest and let me know it could wait but to call if I had anymore concerns or if things changed.

I had an emergency situation after hours and the return call back was immediate and could not ask for a better veterinarian then Springer hospital in sturgeon falls. You are so good and pleasant at your job and made me and my children welcome at your clinic. Thank you for helping us with our pet goat even though the outcome could not have been prevented u made it easier for us all. Thank u for the engraved paw print u gave my children you made them happy by doing that thank you. I highly recommend this clinic for all your veterinary needs they are the best!

If possible I would give a zero star rating. My dog was hit by a car. Called the only 24hr I was aware of, which was Blue Sky in North Bay, was advised that my dog would be fine to see a vet in the am. At this time our dog was not showing any signs he had been in an accident. He was behaving absolutely normal, just abrasions. When we woke up the next morning, he suddenly was not able to walk. So I called the nearest vet, Springer's. Now we almost never take our animals to the vet, except for needles. I do not do yearly check ups, because we are on a budget. Since our dog had not received his needles from Springer, Jennifer who answered the phone advised me that they did have emergency appointments and they did have room but only for their regular patients. Even when I questioned their compassion, she continued saying they needed to keep their emergency spots open for their "regularly paying patients". At one point she advised me that I could always bring my pets in for future yearly appointments if I did not want this situation to re occure. Needless to say I was able to get in with another vet, who is not my dogs regular vet. I may have had a long wait time but the staff was understanding that this was an accident and I was very concerned for my dog. He ended up having a hairline pelvic fracture and head trauma. The other vet was even kind enough to follow up over the weekend and 3 days after. Definetly will refommend the other vet to anyone!!! Even if i continue to go to my regular vet. Bottom line the staff at Springer Animal hospital lacks any compassion or caring. More concerned about getting you in for repeat visits then the well being of animals. Will never recommend this vet to anyone with pets.

I went to springer animal hostpital 8/23/18 to see how much is cost to bring in my 10 yr old cat and the older women at desk asked if hes been to a vet before I said yes N.Bay but I live in garden village the last 6yrs and don't drive she told me to bring him to his own vet I was shocked sad and now he has to suffer a little longer never go back there again I thought animal hospitals take in any animal

Took my sick pet (Bella) in on January 12 2021. She was diagnosed with really bad Liver problems. To save my pet from anymore pain and suffering I had her put to sleep. The Dr. and staff were very kind and understanding. Bella spent her last moments in a loving and calm setting with me beside her.

Best vet around! They ensure to make your animal as comfortable as possible prior to examination. A call is always placed by the Dr before anything is done to your pet. A thorough explanation is provided along with quotes by the vet herself. They truly know how to make an owner feel comfortable while the pet is in their care. Super compassionate, loving and professional. Fair prices too! Recommend this vet 1 thousand times over!

I wouldn't usually post but feel people should be warned how your business operates- this place deserves 0 for stars On Wednesday march 14/2018 I got home from work at approx. 6:30pm to find my 4 year old cat mini in total pain with a fluid leaking from her . Now because I live in sturgeon falls I immediately called the Springer hospital . I then reached the call center because of after hours and was advised The vet would call me back with in 10 minutes- now in these 10 minutes the fluid started leaking worst I went through 3 towels and at this point my cats breathing was starting to slow down and she wasn't moving so I started to prepare for the drive to the office because I knew whatever was going on was killing her ......then finally my phone rang and after explaining everything that was happening to the Vet I was expecting to be told to immediately bring her in . I was choked and shocked by this vets response and it did not go this way at all . after answering the questions she asked about mini I then informed her she previously got vaccinated at a north bay Vets office . Now that CHANGED everything - I was told that because mini wasn't her patient she was REFUSING to see her . To me this is FLAT OUT UNACCEPTABLE . it should not matter where the animals vet is located or whom worked on the animal last if there is an emergency its an EMERGENCY and the closest vet should be the option a person should be able to call the office and then able to bring the pet in and it should be treated on how severe the emergency is .............. so I had no choice but to call around more I finally got ahold of the north bay office 30 mins later and had to RACE and I mean RACE to get my poor sweet little cat to that office which was 40 minutes away where she immediately had to go in for surgery . I was told 5 mins more her uterus would of ruptured inside of her . she basically died in my arms on the drive up aswell . it was a nightmare all together Your office basically shoved me to the side and LACKS serious Compassion towards people and animals. and also has false advertisement you should include " refusing animals after hours that are not your patient's - on THE phones answering machine so people don't waste time to find out you wont see the pet . .. TO BE CLEAR AS A perfect example people that travel with pets an accident can happen at ANYTIME how is person expected to get the animal back home to see the animals specific vet??? you should include the way you work on your answering system. I will be posting this on EVERY PUBLIC PAGE FACE BOOK , KIjiji , buy and sell groups I will do everything in power to get this out in the open so people are fully made aware of you guys operate and so no one ever has to go through what I did. my cat is not alive thanks to your office and would be dead if I hadn't had a car to have been able to drive her to the next city .

I have been bringing my two senior dogs to Springer animal hospital for a little over a year now. This entire team is incredibly professional, friendly and compassionate not only to the animals they take care of but for the parents of the animals. The staff genuinely cares about the well-being of my dogs and I have full confidence in them and their knowledge. If there is something that is beyond the realm that they are comfortable tackling they will refer you to the appropriate referral centers down south but then follow up and continue the aftercare. My dogs are both very comfortable with all the staff and my smaller dog actually loves going there. I am full of gratitude towards this team and I would recommend Springer animal hospital to everyone!
