I brought my little one there for her spaying, and I am very pleased how professional and precisely the procedure was done. My Kitty is doing so well after the surgery and her healing process is fantastic... I used to bring my both cats to the SPCA, but since my first cat was neutered there with a kind of butchery result, and also coming along with a higher price tag as well, I decided it's time to switch to Lindsey Vet Hospital.

Our lovely little cat, Java, took a completely unexpected turn for the worse while we were away travelling recently. Our pet sitter (who was amazing!!) took her to Dr. Courtney Ek, who was helpful, compassionate and understanding as she discussed our cat's difficult medical condition. Sadly, we had to make the decision to euthanize our long time little cat-friend, but Dr. Ek was exceedingly kind and tender-hearted as she helped us through this end-of-life decision. We really appreciated her professional manner and her empathy throughout this most difficult situation. When we returned from our trip, Dr. Ek graciously met with me (on very short notice) and made me feel very comfortable with the decision we had to make while we were away. We highly recommend Lindsey Vet clinic...all the staff were very compassionate and helpful.

My dog actually enjoys going to the vet when I bring him here. Everyone is always friendly and you can tell they really care about the animals. Yes the prices are higher than some other vets but the quality of care is so worth it. We love Dr. Ek, she's amazing. And they give good treats!

Our 10 year old Yorkie cross was diagnosed with kidney disease just over a week ago and I am so thankful we go to Lindsey’s. Everyone there is always kind and very patient with me even when I ask the same questions over again. Dr. Ek called to see how things were going and Lindsey went to the trouble to email us home food recipes. I highly recommend Lindsey Veterinary Hospital to all pet owners!

I can't say enough about Lindsey's They have seen us through hospice care with our little yorkie Willow, she was suffering from seizures, and they helped us say good bye. They have also helped us with the welcoming of our new baby Maddi. The care is exceptional and if you are looking for vets you can trust your fur babies with this is the place. The prices are very competitive and the care is exceptional.

The best veterinary clinic in Penticton by far, IMHO. I've been to other vets in the area over the last 25 years (with 2 cats and a dog) and the Lindsey Veterinary Hospital has by far the most caring and compassionate staff. I've found that particularly helpful when dealing with end-of-life scenarios.

My family has been coming to lindsey on and off for 20 years. The staff have always been polite and accommodating to the needs of our pets and us. Today on my way out with my small child, there was a staff person that had a rude comment to make. Hopefully this won't be a recurring event.

Very disappointed in the customer service today. I called very worried and concerned because an issue in my kitty happened today and she needs to be seen by someone. Called and the lady was not compassionate or helpful at all. Said no bookings until July and they can’t do anything and basically can’t help then that was it. She did not lead me to someone who could help nor asked questions or tried to give some advice. It would be nice to have some sort of compassion or empathy when calling a vet when your animal is sick or hurt.

HORRIBLE!!! We showed up before they closed for lunch ...albeit at 11:55 only to get a bag of food that we had called and arranged ahead of time. They refused to sell us the food and told us to return in an hour. As I write this review it is 12:00 now. I had enough time to write this review but they were too self centered to give me the food. Wow...just wow

Our dog was very sick with stage four cancer. Even though we were new to the area, they took the best of care for her. When it came time to say goodbye, they were very understanding and accommodating. In the future, once we have another dog, we will be going back here for sure.

We have taken all our animals to this great clinic for many, many years. Dr Kopp, Dr Nixon and all their team have always treated our little ones with compassion and professionalism. Its very clear that the Doctors and Vet Techs here really love animals too. When it was time to put our dog of 18yrs down, they helped him leave this world with dignity and grace. A few days later, they sent us a bouquet and card with their condolences. It was a very touching gesture during a very hard time for us. I would never dream of bringing our pets anywhere else. I can only start by saying.. my words cannot adequately say how thankful I am! Although they do not have a reptile vet they were willing to put my sick (senior) bearded dragon to sleep. I got a private room, they were beyond compassionate! Even shedding tears for my beloved pet. I was supprised with a paw print when me and my friend had her funeral. I am on disability and if anything I feel like they gave me 100 fold what they charged. These lady's are as much hero's as any human doctor!

I have had a reasonably good experience with this clinic. However, today when I went to purchase some medication, the staff member that came to the door offered no cordiality and didn't provide any instructions for the medication. I know times are different right now, but a little customer service can go a long way.

We have what we jokingly call a "frequent flyer" pup, who always seems to have something wrong, and when we moved here 2 years ago, brought a massive vet file along with. We always sensed we were missing something though, and made an appointment to see Dr. Nixon to investigate. Long story short, in one appointment and one blood test later, we figured out what countless vets before had missed time and time again (as well as misdiagnosed). Our large breed, 9 year old akita, who continued to lose weight and act depressed, transformed back to a puppy and finally started gaining weight back. Even through this long process of recovery, Dr. Nixon personally takes the time to call and check in. I can't thank him enough for caring to listen to our full history and concerns and taking the time to offer that personalized care. I also want to give a shout out to Taylor from the front who always greets us by name and goes above and beyond to help. She's so lovely. Prices are a little higher than what we are used to, but we've saved so much in the long run and improved our dog's quality of life tremendously. You just can't put a price on that!

I can not speak highly enough of the Lindsey Veterinary Hospital and its staff. My dog, Fred, recently became ill and there was unfortunately nothing that could be done to help aside from easing his pain and ensuring he was not suffering needlessly. The kind staff at Lindsey Veterinary Hospital showed the utmost respect for me and my dog during this difficult time. He graciously allowed myself and my family the extra time needed to say goodbye to our beloved pet before taking time out of his personal schedule to meet with us in the middle of a holiday weekend to say our final goodbyes. I am currently battling cancer which has stretched my finances and Dr. Kopp showed great compassion in helping me with these financial costs during what has been a very stressful time for me. Dr. Kopp went above and beyond what I could have reasonably expected for veterinary care and I would not hesitate to recommend the Lindsey Veterinary Hospital to anyone due to the excellent care shown to both myself and, more importantly, my cherished dog. Do not bring your pet here is you have no choice but to put your animal down. They scorned my friend because their cat was suffering and 17 yrs old, not in good health and Dr. Had the nerve to say that it was just for convenience. Convenience doesn't break your heart to have to bring your animal in to end its suffering. The staff was cold hearted and judgemental in a place where judgement should be reserved and opinions kept to themselves. Where was the empathy here. I will make sure none of my friends or myself ever bring pets to this vet ever. Horrible service. Just horrible. Shame on this company. What a cowardess act.

to date these people have shown us that they dont care about cats on more than one occasion and being the only vet in penticton open on a saturday left us without an option to get our nine yr old cat who had eaten something poisonous any treatment. if i could mark down zero stars I would. I would add stars to this if I could. Dr Nixon and Shelley (and the other lovely staff whose names I did not retain) are wonderful and compassionate. Thank you all so much. I called yesterday morning in distress as it was clearly time for my very senior yorkie to go, and this office fit us in and made it work. Despite the covid rules that are in place this office was able to adhere to the protocols and still make our little dog's last little bit of time with us calm and loving. Thank you. The entire process went as well as it possibly could thanks to your care and compassion. I would 100% recomend this clinic. I would add that we have not been here before and I can only imagine how great their regular fur patients are cared for. They were organized and prepared and took care of everything including us. They even gave us an unrequested break in the billing, which was really unexpected and greatly appreciated at this time of year.

My family dog passed, and I don't live in town so was trying to arrange cremation for my dad to bring her in. Called the SPCA, and they were extremely rude when I was inquiring about cremation. Unbelievable...I called Lindsey Vet, and they were not only cheaper, but more importantly- they were compassionate and kind.

Called because we have a sick pup, No other vets in the city are open and was told basically pound sand because we hadn’t been there before. If your open you should treat animals that’s why your in the business, not to deny people with sick animals. It would take a 10 min look to have helped my dog and probably would have gotten you a customer for life. Reply to your reply The reason this was so upsetting is because when i called and before the receptionist new i wasn't a customer there was tons of open appts open that day.

I had the recent misfortune of visiting this hospital with my close friend for the euthanasia of her ailing dog. Although Dr. Nixon was kind and compassionate, the veterinary nurse Telane was cold and abrupt and did a poor job explaining the euthanasia process. We felt frightened and uninformed until the doctor finally arrived.

The staff are amazing with the animals, all the vets at the clinic are caring and honest. This is a hospital so blood work results are done on site so no waiting for results longer than maybe a couple of hours. They treat the animals and their owners with respect and have fair prices. Highly recommended, we only wish they offered 24 hour emergency care.

DO NOT RISK TAKING YOUR PET TO THIS CLINIC! I informed Dr. Robertson that my dog had IBD and couldn't have a sedative. They used two sedatives for a routine ultrasound. The veterinary nurse laughed that he had had diarrhea during the procedure. That evening he had black discharge & couldn't eat for five days. They admitted the reaction was due to the sedatives however they refused to fit him in for an appointment. They were too busy.

Went there with the wife today to bring our cat in for his first vet visit. All the staff were super friendly and reassuring. The vet was very knowledgeable, and helped us figure out the proper diet for our male cat and explained to us why it's important for male cats in particular. The clinic was absolutely spotless and all staff were friendly. Definitely recommend this place.
