**EDIT: This is extremely hard to post, but I figured I would update my review to notate that we did in fact loose our precious Ellie to her cancer on February 14, 2020. This has undoubtably been the hardest thing myself and my husband have been through and to know that Dr. Pratola was there for us was extremely comforting during this time of darkness. I cannot recommend KW Mobile Services enough, for giving pet owners the option to have comfortable home visits, for either basic care of end of life care. She has a heart of gold, and this job is extremely fitting to her and her love of animals. Saying thank you just doesn't seem like enough. <3 ---- I find it hard to put into words, how much I respect and value having Dr. Pratola as not only a vet but as a friend to call in need. When we found out that one of our dogs (my "heart dog") was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her front leg, Dr. Pratola was absolutely incredible with my million and one questions about how she not only as a vet would proceed but as a pet owner. She was extremely thorough with her information, and helped make the decision to amputate Ellie's leg easier. Dr. Pratola continued to follow-up after our conversations to see how Ellie was doing (before and after the surgery)... She made herself readily available for more questions regarding post surgery care. Unfortunately, Ellie did end up getting a fever a couple days after her surgery, and our lives were turned upside down. She wouldn't eat, she wouldn't drink, she was extremely lethargic, and I could see my dog withering away. Constantly questioning our decision to amputate and put her through this... Dr. Pratola was by our side, guiding us on our next steps and care to get Ellie through this difficult time. On Sunday however, Ellie was not doing well, and Laura cancelled her plans to rush to our house to assess Ellie. Thankfully, after a week of IV fluids after Dr. Pratola's recommendation at our "office vet" Ellie was on the mend. I can honestly say that Ellie, although it was a traumatic couple of weeks is 10000% back to her regular self. She is back to being the matriarch of our pack, and she is her sassy playful self again. Dr. Pratola is an amazing vet, who has the deepest love for animals which shines through when she is working with them! She will always be my first call, and her mobile services are greatly appreciated and welcomed especially when taking our whole pack to the vets office is a stressful occasion! Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts with the love and support you showed during Ellie's "rough patch". And thank you for your continued support of our large fur-family. ❤️

Dr. Laura and Rachel from KW Mobile Veterinary Services are amazing on every level. Interpersonal as well as professional. Our beloved dog had terminal cancer and after trying every possible treatment, we had to make the decision to release him from his suffering. We didn't know what to do as he was always very anxious at the vet. We didn't want his last minutes on earth to be spent in fear at the vet. We discussed this with our vet and she referred us to the KW Mobile Veterinary Services. This was the best decision we could have possible made. I wrote an email explaining the situation. We were contacted back on the same day. The email conversation was with lots of compassion and empathy and all questions were answered immediately. We got an appointment very soon. We got everything explained via email and also on the phone, so we knew already in advance how everything will go. This was already such a relief for us. On the actual day we met Dr. Laura for the first time. We were so sad and in panic as this was the hardest day of our lives. She managed to calm us and our dog with her calm and sensitive manner. She explained everything in detail and took her time for every step. She spent in total over 3 hours at our house and if we would have needed more time, we would have gotten more time. It couldn't have happened more peacefully. There was so much dignity. We can't thank her enough! Also yesterday she brought us the urn and the paw print. She was taking the time to ask on how we are doing and listened and cared. She also gave us flowers and wrote a sweet an personalised card. Thank you so much Dr. Laura and Rachel!!

If I could give KW Mobile Veterinary Services TEN stars, I definitely would! Today was one of the most difficult days of our family's life - we had to put our beloved 14-year-old pug, Stanley, to sleep. We elected to do this at home, so Stanley could pass away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Thanks to Dr. Laura, it was absolutely the right decision! Dr. Laura was so incredibly compassionate, caring and reassuring to us. She explained the process and calmly assisted Stanley and our family members. Her love for animals and their caregivers was so apparent, and even though this was a difficult time, we were comforted by her tranquil and professional manner. Stanley passed peacefully and was treated with dignity, respect and love. Our family would absolutely recommend KW Mobile Veterinary Services!

Dr. Laura and the vet assistant Rachel were wonderful during a really difficult time for us. Dr. Laura went above and beyond to help us through the loss of our puppy. I haven't been able to bring myself to write this review sooner, since it's so hard to think about, but we so appreciated their kindness. It was such a stark contrast to the awful experience we had just had with another animal hospital. I highly recommend the KW Mobile Vet team.

When it was time to say good bye to our dog we were relieved that Dr. Laura could come to our home. This reduced the stress for Gimli and he was able to pass in a familiar setting filled with love with his family surrounding him. Dr. Laura came to my home to help with our family pet's end of life. She was sensitive, patient, calm. Gave us privacy and didn't rush us (even though it was a Friday evening) being ready to let go of our pet's body once she had died. Cost of doing this at home was comparable to or less than the same cost at other services we contacted...really a wonderful experience with good value. Highly recommend.

As a dog owner for over 30 years, I can honestly say that the professional care my dog and I recieved from Dr. Laura is the second to none. The fact that the doctor was able to guide or talk me through the process of the passing of my dog demonstrates her ability and emathy during this tension filled procedure. Clearly, for myself,Lauras' precise knowlege of animal physiology combined with empathic understanding in the emotional aspects during a difficult procedure is a big plus and helps put closure to this extremely painful event. I highly recommend KW Mobile Veterinary Services and Dr. Laura. This was my dog's first at home visit with her. Dr. Laura was down-to-earth, thorough with her examination, and provides facts and other information in a very gentle and real way. I did not feel rushed and I had all my questions answered along with some very helpful suggests that would help my senior dog. I cannot say enough of how satisfied I felt after the appointment.

Dr Pratola was wonderful and very kind when we had to put our very sweet Justin to sleep. He was a beloved family member for twenty years, and the best cuddly kitten ever. Dr Pratola was caring to the humans and very loving to Justin throughout the entire visit. She is very thoughtful, and explained everything that was going to happen. We really appreciated her quiet strength and support. Although this was one of the most difficult things we have had to do in a long while, Dr Pratola helped us with her calm nature and caring presence.

Even though this was our first appointment with Dr. Laura we experienced true compassion and support from the first correspondence to the end of the visit. We really cannot thank you enough and we are so grateful to be able to send off our bestfriend in the comfort of home, in the beauty of nature. We have 16 years of great memories with our sweet 'buba' and we are terribly sad but we are so thankful Dante was able to spend last moments with us peacefully and in a familiar setting. Dr Laura is amazing. When she comes to your door and meets your pet, you can tell that she loves animals. I have had some bad experiences with vets in this area and she is definitely not one of those vets. My cat wasn't eating and when you own a garfield like cat you know something is up. She came my house the next day and looked at him. He was a very anxious cat and she put him right at ease. She even followed up after his appointment to see how he was doing. She really cares. I would and have recommended her to family and friends.

Today was the end of Chaos’ time here with us. He’d been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer 5 months ago at the age of 5. He’d been doing very well, but the onset was extreme over the last coupe of weeks. Dr. Pratola was extremely thorough in her information. Not only was she professional, but her care, compassion, and empathy was shining through every step of the way as we proceeded with the end of life care procedure. It was as if Chaos was her own childhood dog. Do you ever look at someone and go they were born to be an athlete, or a chef, or an actor, speaker, etc? Well, Dr. Laura Pratola was born to be a veterinarian. Endless thanks to you Laura.

I contacted KW Mobile Veterinary Services after I heard from a neighbour about the great service Dr. Laura provided in her home to her new puppy. We had contacted our vet looking for end of life services for our elderly dog and was informed only one person would able to attend the appointment due to Covid restrictions. What a relief it was when we had our conversation with KW Mobile Veterinary Services and found out they could come to our home and all of our family members could be in attendance, and our special boy would be at ease in his own environment. We communicated back and forth over email and felt their compassion and care in making arrangements for this very hard time. On the day of our appointment Dr. Laura showed up on time (even a few minutes early) and instantly helped to put us at ease explaining how the appointment would go and ensuring we understood what would happen and how long each step would take. She spoke so kindly and compassionately to our dog and treated him like he was her own. She was very professional ensured she gave us time alone during the process to spend with our dog during his final minutes with us. We were very impressed with the level of professionalism and care they showed us during the whole process from beginning to end. We just received our dogs urn and paw print back yesterday delivered to our home by Dr. Laura and had flowers and a beautiful card as well. Thank you for being so great to us during the hardest time in our lives.

Having pets for most of my life I have to say that Dr Laura is the absolute best veterinarian we have ever known. She is compassionate, genuine and truly a caring person. Our ol boy needs support and she arrived to calm our nerves and give him the medical support to help him in his senior years. By far the most positive veterinary experience my dogs & I have ever had! Dr Laura Pratola was exceptional with my very sweet (albeit nervous & quirky) doxies. She happily accommodated them by spreading their basic vet care (vaccines, blood test) over multiple visits to reduce stress. Dyson has previously had issues with pain after getting vaccinated, enough pain that he was prescribed pain meds on more than one occasion - she knew exactly what the issue was & Dyson was immediately back in action after getting vaccinated. Dr. Pratola was just as patient with me & my many questions/concerns. I cannot recommend Dr. Pratola enough! Using KW Mobile Veterinary Services was a game changer for this vet-phobic family.

Dr Pratola is a kind and caring vet who will treat your pet as her own. I've had the privilege of knowing her for a number of years, while she had her own Texas Belle. No dog was ever better cared for than Texie. And when my own dog fell ill suddenly, Dr Pratola was right there, offering comfort to both of us, and making arrangements for her emergency care. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Pratola - she'll certainly be my choice when I have another four-legged furry friend......

Our girl Mabel went to heaven today. She had been declining and you know what they say, you know when it's time. I found this site for a mobile vet service and left an email, several really, and Dr Laura got back to me. Mabel was a big girl, 100 lbs, so we couldn't get her to out vet. But Dr Laura and her husband Gray came to our home and looked after it all. With kindness and compassion and respect, they looked after our Mabel. To say that they were professionals is putting it mildly. They were the absolute epitome of a true animal lover. They will not be forgotten.
