I had a really good experience. Brought my puppy here for the first time. They booked me in the same day. Staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable. Very clean place. They answered all my questions about my new puppy I had.
Transfered our two cats here after moving to Waterloo. The vet is very friendly and professional taking time to ask and understand questions. The had my file transfered and were familiar before we showed up. They are doing curbside drop off online during COVID. Wait times for appointments seem to be 2 weeks which is longer than I am used to (but also a sign they are in demand) and they don't have a vet tech for blood work on Fridays.
We found a beautiful husky abandoned on the highway, in distress, and decided to take her in temporarily. Lincoln Village helped us contact the microchip company and communicate with the owners. Turns out the owners had given her away years ago. Lincoln Village was gracious enough to take her in while trying to find her owners and to provide free medical care in the meantime. Hopefully she gets back home! Thanks to Lincoln Village for helping her out.
Staff is wonderful! Super helpful, kind and patient. Very helpful with birds.
Staff & vet here have been very helpful & supportive to me & my pets for last 2 1/2 years. I highly recommend them.
Great vet
This clinic is a scam! They only care about MONEY AND OVERCHARGE you. Never get your medication from them, i got charged $85 for a routine visit that had to end within 10minutes bcs they dont know how to treat dogs that are anxious. Even though it wasnt even a complete check up i got charged $85 for that and $65 for an ear test. They prescribed a medication aurizon for $150 that costs only $30 online at any other pet pharmacy! Totally disappointed. I called the vet after 5 minutes of picking up the medication to return it as its completely overpriced, and the staff tells me “its illegal for us to take returns.” I asked for proof…!?!! Later she sent me an article that states clearly they CAN accept returned medication, just have to dispose of it. The clinic did not care to return my money bcs they are to scared to lose $20-$30 on their end. Would never recommend! Total scam for money!!!!!
Awesome helpful staff. They answer questions any time and genuinely care about your pets. HIGHLY recommended.
I highly recommend this animal hospital as we always receive amazing care for our cat. The entire staff is amazing.
My cat Botchy was very relaxed with this hospital and the service was excellent and a good location. The hospital was very easy to find and the staff was great and answered all my questions about Botchy's health needs. Also Botchy and I did not feel rushed at all. I would recommend this hospital. And I am happy that I found a hospital for Botchy.
We said goodbye to our sweet Snoopy today, the staff are very good and understanding, thank you ,
Do not recommend. I have been to this clinic twice. My first visit was for vaccines. It took over an hour and I was charged an additional $120 for an exam fee and another $65 for an ear test. These costs were not shared with me until I received the bill. I trust these tests were done as no information was shared with me except that he could put on a few pounds and that he had a bad ear infection, which was very clear and I shared that with his vet before dropping him off. I decided to try them again 2 weeks later and things got even worse. I was charged another exam fee without asking me in advance. I raised my concern because he just had one 2 weeks earlier and very little would have changed. I was told that this 2nd exam is mandatory before receiving his booster shot to make sure he doesn't have issues like INFECTIONS because then it would be unsafe to give the vaccine. 2 weeks earlier I paid for the test, was told he has a severe inner ear infection and they gave him 4 vaccines that day. In addition to these things, I made it clear that my dog has an unknown food allergy during my first visit. During the second visit the vet called me and during our conversation, she told me how much my dog loved the treats she was feeding him. She clearly didn't check the file and my guy spent the night scratching like crazy. I spoke with the manager who made me pay the bill in full. I paid it and told her I wouldn't be returning. Hopefully this review can help you avoid similar issues. Oh and I asked for the results of the ear test and was never provided with any information. Now I'm left guessing if the infection is still there after 2 weeks of treatment. Lovely.
The team as BSVH are amazing. Very thorough, great service and love the follow-up and care they extend to my pets.
Caring, friendly and compassionate team that does everything possible to make our little canine family member very comfortable. We trust the Lincoln Village team, and more importantly, our little dog loves going to the vet.
Good place to take reptiles, but that was a number of years ago I was there.
Such great service! The people who work here are so nice and caring. I highly recommend. I will be going back
My parents always took their dog because it was close by. I decided to bring my dog- I was looking for somebody I could trust and get advice from. My dog is my life. They were more expensive then other places in town but if it was worth the expertise I don't mind..... I ended up paying for a few tests such as a stool sample. Just to keep my dog on track. I paid upfront and they sent me home with the 'cup' they never got back to me- never returned my calls.... Or checked up later to tell me her shots were coming up..... I was very disappointment in the service
Very good animal hospital. They're thorough with their checkups and very good with our pets.
We take our parrots here. Awesome if you have birds.
Great vets. Very knowledgeable and gentle with my cat. Always helpful with suggestions on how to keep my pet healthy and happy.
Excellent experience for my pet who was as happy as a lark after the appointment!
Very caring
I have always trusted the care of my two cats to the Lincoln Village Animal Hospital. I would recommend them to any pet owner.
The staff and vet here have been extremely responsive and helpful, including making accommodations for my very anxious dog to make sure he gets the treatment he needs despite difficult COVID circumstances. Very glad to have switched to here. Recommend.
Girls really love dogs!???? the doctor us a sweet heart and explains everything in details
The staff are absolutely wonderful, I highly recommend. They helped us with a collar that had gotten stuck on our bird, stayed late to make sure it came off and that she was okay. Absolutely wonderful. We've brought our bird there several times, she is wonderful with birds. It's great to have a vet in town that can help with them as well, instead of having to go to Guelph for everthing.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of legitimate love for pets. Great customer service and follow up.
My cats and I are always treated with respect and care at LVAH. If I have to wait, I know it is because of a real emergency and its consequences. So I am patient. The staff know their stuff, show they care, and are there for me and my furry friends when I need them!
Very very caring staff ????
I just moved to Waterloo and recently suffered the loss of my beloved Dog, heart broken and not sure I could ever replace him, But I needed something to love and care for.. I did some research and fell In love with a Sphynx breed.. I soon found our little princess.. now these cats are just not normal cats so looking got a special vet was important... I happen to stumble upon these guys.. now I didn't know they had sphynx experience but I was pleased with the reviews they had in general! Not only do they have experience, but some of the staff even own this unique cat! So happy to find this place ☺
Contacted a bunch of different animal hospitals as I needed to get my kitty's shots updated. They replied super fast and after reading some other google reviews I decided to move forward. Asked for pricing before and they also quickly responded. Everyone was super friendly and kind even though my cat became demon possessed when he entered the vet and tried to eat them alive, they were SO patient and suggested a lot of different things for him to help calm him down and some products he may like without being too pushy about them. For having the worlds worst behaved cat at the vet they treated him like he was a King and were so kind and gentle. Will for sure be recommending them and bringing any future animals here. Thanks again!
Great care, great service from everyone.
I have but nothing good to say about Dr. Buhrows and the incredible staff here at LVAH. I am writing this the day after I had to make a very tough decision about my 9 month old kitten Vinyl. Even though this is fresh in my mind, I cannot help but reflect on the compassion this team had with my decision yesterday and how they took care of everything from mu very first visit. I was looking for a vet when I got my kitten and chose here because of the reviews and was not disappointed. From the first appointment and to the check ups and everything in between and up till he got sick, they are truly there for not only the pets but for the owners as well. To get a call a week later after an appointment to see how things are going with my kitten to make sure all was well, is something you don't get. The attention to detail and the way they try and help was in my opinion above and beyond the normal. So I would recommend this vet office if you are looking. Thank you to all at LVAH.
Friendly staff who are always willing to help.
Dr. Tracy Buhrows Leach is absolutely amazing. She is gentle, kind and knowledgeable. She is passionate about animals and their well-being, while being understanding of the owner's circumstances. She is wonderful with animals, including our bunny, who we took to see her! She also helped us plan end of life care and decisions with compassion. Customer service is wonderful and I was always able to get our bunny in. We hope to take our next pet to see her, too!
The vet and technicians are fantastic. Very caring and loving to my two cats.
Very friendly and kind to my dog. Great results after 2 minor operations. I would recommend anyone looking for a new vet to go here.
Professional and friendly :)
It was my first time at any vet's and of course, I needed a specialty one because of my leopard gecko. Everyone there was so nice, informative and helpful. I would 100% reccomend this veterinary hospital for every animal. I'll be bringing in our umbrella cockatoo whenever he needs anything. I just wanted to say thanks to the staff and vet there that helped me with my gecko!!!!
Very friendly and helpful Vet. Spent a lot of time getting to know us and our cat. Came up with an action plan to resolve some behavioural issues and provided products that helped.
My cat was in critical condition. Dr Buhrows cordinated his care at the emergency vet clinic and kept me updated on his progress. Once he no longer needed 24 hour care, he went to Bridge Street Veterinary Hospital. The care he got there was incredible and they did not do anything that was not necessary. I was kept updated each step of the way , they me sent pictures of my cat to show how he was doing. I can't say enough good things about this vet hospital. The staff are all great and supportive. My cat is home and on the road to full recovery.
Dr. Tracy Burrows is a very caring, compassionate and knowledgeable vet. I've used her services for over a decade and trust in her judgement and care.
Our cats are well taken care of there.
Brutus has been going here for 13 years, Tried trusted and loved puppy style.
I had a awesome experience at the Village Animal Hospital. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. My dog Abby will be going back very shortly to se them all again. Thank you again staff, you were great!!
I want to begin this review by sharing the facts, the manager took the time to review with me my concerns, and mentioned Kristen will be spoken to about this. However the need to share with the public is imminent when beings continue to be refused proper service. My opinion on how I feel I was treated is irrelevant, this establishment has posted signs for attendants to wear a mask, however you can not attend. When questioned about a discretionary process that is causing further health ailments to patients I was presented with arrogance, ignorance, and ultimately disrespect. I have waited to book my dog King in until after phase 3 to ensure I can enter the building with him. Last time I could not and he was refused certain services (nail clipping) that are essential to him as a dog with foot and skin irritations. Secondly they refused to renew his prescription for drops without seeing him although this is a prescription he has been on for 3 years, this is why he was brought in last time. This time around I callbook the appointment last weekfor this week. Although I generally don't wear a mask I saw their sign and put one on. Upon trying to enter the door was locked, which I found odd but it is a smaller establishment and to avoid overcrowding I understood. Kristen came to the door where she mentioned they aren't letting people in. I immediately requested reasoning as my mask was on and we are in phase 3 here in Waterloo. She went back in and returned with the option for me to watch through the window while they perform the service in side. Now let's break that down, a dog with their owner outside a window...would that make them more calm? Definitely not, in fact the barrier is proven to provoke anxiety with unknown surroundings. He needed a check up and his nails clipped. Due to the allergies and anxiety his feet are constantly broken out in Eczema like patches. As mentioned King has severe anxiety. He has been treated here for over a year pre covid and still to this day has the exact same issues. Which I digress he has a lot of allergies and anxiety. When returning today and expressing that my dog can not be neglected further Kristen began relaying inaccurate details of our account. 1. Our dog has never been refused nail clipping due to the condition of his feet, only has he ever been refused for non essential service during COVID 2.She claimed they had imagery to support this, they do have extensive imagery due to documentation of the change in his feet, every check up, pictures. Not to prove why they couldn't give service to document any change-when I mentioned she was inaccurate and gave facts she retracted her statement. This happened with 3 different statements. 3.When directing the staff to please provide me with the product I preordered and his file documents so I may leave I was presented with the wrong order. Left on the ground where Kristen returns inside without the incorrect order. 4.I asked her to take the product instead of leaving it outside as I would not be purchasing the wrong product. Grabbing the bag Kristen turned around to return inside this time shouting that "we don't have another bag for you" and locking the door behind her Again my opinion on how I feel I was treated is irrelevant, this establishment has posted signs for attendants to wear a mask, however you can not attend. When questioned about a discretionary process that is causing further health ailments to patients I was presented with arrogance, ignorance, and ultimately disrespect. I am not paid to enter your establishment Kristen, you are, and to conduct yourself with such poor quality customer service had truly affected our day. My dog did not get his health needs assisted by this place again, and we will not be returning. Collectively we have paid a fair amount in services to at least entice your staff into providing quality customer service. Bridge Street Vet Hospital lost a client today, not due to COVID restrictions due to staffs inability to act humane.
Staff were great and accommodating very helpful in delicate situations. Will work with you on a payment plan.
very careful and caring veterinarian and staff
They are great to deal.with
