vets take your money. UNNECESSARY test that cost $400 and at the end nothing but constipation in my cat. My cat is going to the bathroom both ways but still has an issues.. should I pay more for no results? this is not the first time this vet cost me $500 last year when he said my cat had IBS after he had lost 5 pounds! He was totally wrong!. another vet put my cat on a raw diet and my cat gained all his weight back . So now I'm not going back to them ...very nice doctor but in business you have to do the best thing for clients. I don't appreciate expensive test with no answers or wrong answers.

Our kitten, Leeloo, came to us pretty quickly and with all of the vet options in the area we weren't sure where to take her for all of her kitten needs. We took her to Eagles Landing Animal Hospital and I could not be happier about making that choice! She has just been spayed and has had some reactions to the sutures. Needless to say, as pet parents we were so worried. We called, and Adrienne asked us to come in right away to take a look at her. I am so grateful for having this amazing support team at Eagles Landing!! The care and concern each staff member puts into all of their pets is extremely comforting. They understand that it's not always easy for the pet parents, too! I would recommend taking your pets here for their needs eleven times out of ten! Thank you Eagles Landing Team!

Dr. B and his staff are simply amazing! I have been going to this animal hospital for YEARS and have NEVER had anything negative to say. Dr. B has given my two dogs Bentley and Mylo so much love and care if ever a problem occurred. Every single time one of them was sick or had a dental cleaning, Dr. B and his staff would call and email us to follow up multiple times through the week and were always available to talk and answer my questions (trust me I have a lot of questions). They really do care about ever pet that comes into their hospital and you definitely feel that after just one visit. Dr. B and his staff certainly can put you at ease if you're feeling worried about your pet. Every time i've had a question or concern even if it was just about my pet coughing someone would call me, answer my questions, talk me down and even ask me to send videos so they can show Dr. B right away and we can get to the problem. Everyone at this animal hospital is extremely nice, caring, efficient and have shown my dogs nothing but love and care. Not to mention, every time one of my dogs have been sick or had any problem, Dr. B is very quick and knowledgable when it comes to guiding you on what to do and every time he has been 100% right about my dogs illness or the cause. They have been my dogs ONLY vet and that will never change. If I could give this animal hospital 10 stars I would. I was recommended to come see Dr. B & his staff at Eagles Landing Vet Hospital and let me say... I have never been happier that I did! The staff are exceptional, showing the utmost care for you & your loved one! They are so kind, generous, loving & caring!! The staff & Dr. B will call you a couple times after care/or procedure is completed on your pet, ensuring they are doing well :) this made me so happy!! Dr. B, is truly an amazing Vet! He cares so much about your pet & shows so much care & attention to them. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything to you in detail, including the cost & what is to come of the procedure. His prices are extremely fair & he always asks if he is okay to proceed with his suggestions. It really is amazing to see someone who genuinely cares about your loved one, and not just about making money. There is none of that at this Vet Hospital! I would highly recommend this Vet Hospital, as everyone there plays a huge role in keeping your loved one safe, healthy & happy!!! Love this place!!! :)

What was suppose to be a simple procedure ended up in death for my one year old heathy cat Simon. I took him here for neutering and they killed him. Reading some comments bellow I found anothet story similar to mine. They over sedated him. I wish I could give negative stars to this vet. Please think twice before taking your pets here cause these people are incompetent!

Horrible experience! I came in was not greeted with a simple hello, their tone was extremely mean. I came to buy food and they denied me because I wasn’t in their system. My cat did not have any more food and I was unable to buy him food because of them.

Definitely the best vet clinic I've ever been to. They really care about the animals that come in and have 2 gorgeous cats at the front desk waiting to greet you. Prices are reasonable and they do not take advantage of anyone needs that comes in.

As a first time dog owner, with a very abused and neglected treewalker hound, Dr. B and the staff (especially the RVT Adrienne) really saw me and my dog through a couple of difficult times, each time avoiding surgery. Its been over four years since I first brought my dog in. I don't understand some of the other reviewers, all the staff have been SO pleasant to me and Jake. They seem to be very thorough and gentle with him. I've seen the same level of attention and unrushed service to other clients. Dr. B. will even spend 15-20 extra minutes showing you in books and wall charts what is going on and explaining the diagnosing process to rule out the simple, least expensive stuff first. I have taken him to other Vet Clinics in the area (Bayview Hill), etc. for grooming and even the Emergency clinic in Scarborough. These places, while the staff are nice, they feel like factories. The staff at Eagles Landing really seem to care and provide the level of attention you would want for the pet you love.

My family and our cat have been patients at this clinic for about 3 years, and in the beginning we didn't notice any red signs, however a few days ago we brought our cat named Ginger, for a check up because he wasn't feeling well and showed a change in behaviour and health. The vet kept our poor Ginger from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM, poking needles, trying to take X-ray and figure out his bladder issue since he had difficulties going to the bathroom. When my mom picked our cat up he was heavily sedated and died 4 hours later at a different facility, I know there are many factors that could of contributed to this issue, but I do partially blame the vet at this clinic. When we picked the cat up, the vet literally said, he wasn't dying and he is gonna be okay, while the nurse behind him had a nervous look. Since she was doing the check up and might have picked up something was wrong. I think the vet was incompetent and careless, he lacked knowledge and still went on to "take care of our cat" making him much worse, since we dropped him off. Gingers spirit was gone and he was unrecognizable. The other clinic we took Ginger, had professional workers with proper knowledge and care for patients and their facilities in situations as difficult as this. BTW: my brother wrote a review about them earlier this day and they already deleted it, so that just shows what kind of people work there, I hope you feel guilty about what you have done!!! ** DONT BRING YOUR ANIMALS THERE, THERE ARE BETTER PLACES WITH CARING AND KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF**

I transferred both my dogs to Dr B as I needed a closer vet to me for my older dog who was starting to have a lot of health issues. I started with Dr B just as one of my dogs was needing a lot more tests, medication and attention. I am so happy with the care we got as well as the communication with the staff. I emailed or called them all the time with questions and they were so responsive which was a complete change from my old vet clinic. I can't say enough about Dr B....he helped me through a really hard time diagnosing my dog with some diseases that were not curable and I believe he actually gave her 4 more months that were 'quality' by telling me he didn't recommend a specific medication because it would make her sicker and all the research I did showed me that he was right. He wanted me to just enjoy the time I had left with her and when it came time to put her down, he reassured me that it was the right decision and was so compassionate as I was a complete mess. Dr B took the time to talk to me on the phone to explain test results or why she needed them, and he was so kind and compassionate. Thank you Dr. B and staff

We had an eye problem spent over 200 dollars for medication and good and test that were not needed, he was fine, had nothing. All they want is your money they don’t care about your dog, he went through tournaments and didn’t need anything.

I have never been to a vet that cares so little about their clients and their pets!! They left me with a dog in discomfort, failed to diagnose simple issues which I then had to diagnose myself using google (thank God for the internet!!). The staff are rood and aggressive!! I wouldn't take my pet to them if it was taking its last breath as they would just make it worse!!! should not be in business.

Just want to thank Dr.B and his fantastic staff for the wonderful care and interest they gave our Rhodesian Ridgeback Mocha for the past 7 years. Dr. B was usually spot on with his diagnosis but what really impressed me about him was that he wasn’t scared or proud to say he was going to confer with his colleagues and get a second opinion on his diagnosis, which they would usually concur with. I also liked how clean the office and surgery always is. Unfortunately, our Mocha has now left us but thanks Dr. B for giving us extra time with our beloved friend. Thank you Dr.B and all the great ladies at your clinic.

This is the best vet I’ve ever been to. The staff is very kind, friendly and will always strike up a conversation. The doctor is kind, gentle and informative. I never leave with any lingering questions unanswered. I’ve been to other vets and they charge $100-$200+ just for the visit, not including prescriptions. Eagles Landing Animal Hospital has never charged me for a single visit! I highly recommend this place for you and your pets.

If I could give zero stars I would. I very specifically made an appointment for a rabies vaccine only, as my previous vet closed down. Get there, everything is great with the front staff etc but my dog gets an exam, that I don't want, and don't need, and then I'm charged $81 +taxes instead of a simple $29 rabies shot, without my consent! This is unethical and the staff lie about it being illegal to give a rabies vax without exam. It is certainly not illegal, don't go here unless you want to be locked inside until you pay your bill. I will be filing a claim with my credit card company and a complaint with the ontario vet association, because I very clearly stated I only wanted a rabies vaccine, and was told that was okay. If an exam was necessary, it should have been stated before instead of this shady bait and switch.

Even though COVID restrictions are lifted from all essential businesses, this vet states that people are not allowed in with their pets because of the CVO's rules. After contacting the CVO and finding that it is up to the vet to have people inside or not, i've found that this practice lies to pet owners. Animals not having a person they are comfortable with to accompany them inside stresses them out. The girls at the front desk have also made a potentially good experience awful by speaking with attitude, and forcing owners to wait outside no matter the weather. Also have seen a post of a similar experience.. owners being told to wait in the car no matter if the pet needs to be seen urgently is repulsive.

When my cat, Murzik, was a little kitten our neighbor's cat came into our house, made a bowel movement on the floor, marked his territory by spraying the mirror, and bit my kitten. This was when we first visited Dr. Baraliya. Murzik had to get stitches, pain meds, antibiotics and a cone around his neck. In another 10 days our cat ripped his skin in another spot where the adult cat apparently bit him. An abscess developed. The second visit to the doctor resulted in even more pain killers and antibiotics. Our emotionally disturbed and physically injured cat tried to defend himself and scratched the doctor when I took him back for the appointment despite Dr. B was very patient with the kitten. The third time we visited Dr. Baraliya was when Murzik was neutered. At this point our cat was traumatized and really disliked visiting the clinic. He grew up growling at strangers ever since. On July 12, we had an appointment for the rabbis vaccine at 5:30 pm. At 5:15 I called the clinic to find out if there would be any delays. The nurse told me to be on time. At 5:27 I called and informed the Nurse that we are at the parking lot. She asked me to wait in a car for a "couple minutes". Five, then ten minutes passed. My cat was meowing loudly in the car and started to become lethargic from the heat. I called again and informed the nurse. She again suggested that I continue to wait for a "couple minutes". I asked her if I can inside the clinic to wait with Murzik as it was very hot inside the car and the AC wasn't working properly. She answered that due to "Covid protocols" nobody is allowed to be inside the clinic. It sounded strange to me, because at this point all non essential businesses were reopened. I asked if any exceptions could be done considering Murzik's traumatic history of visiting the clinic and his worsening condition inside the hot cat, but I was simply told to wait. It was very frustrating, because I called and inquir about any delays. In another 27 min my cat, lay on the seat panting and sticking his tongue out like a dog. I thought he's going to have a heat stroke waiting for the appointment. I took him out the car. I called again. The nurse suggested to turn an AC on. I drove an old car where the AC wasn't working well. So, I stood holding my cat by the clinic door. At this point the nurse requested to put the already scared cat in a cage as per their clinic's rules, which I agree with, but not when the cat was already so traumatized and agitated from this whole ordeal. My first impression was that the clinic was already overflowing with patients, and the staff really didn't want to be bothered with my "trobled" cat. It's obviously always easier to treat a purring, friendly cat. Secondly, the staff cares more about implementing polices and rules instead of accommodating their practices to care for pets. My overall impression from this experience was that they lack empathy, compassion, and understanding of feline nature. The next day I scheduled an appointment in another clinic. The pet owners were sitting in a reception area, not in their cars. I found that very strange, because both clinics are located just a few interesections away from each other. After the whole ordeal, I asked to speak to Dr. Baraliya, but could not. He was still busy with another pet, which is understandable. Unfortunately, the doctor didn't find the time to call me back, or he wasn't informed about my request. After this experience, I would not recommend "Eagle Landing" vet clinic in Maple to my friends or any pet owner with a "troubled" cat or dog.
