After an absolutely horendous experience at Abbotsford in Aurora, we took our next pet (since our first dog ended up needing to be put down) to College Manor. We expressed our concern and our damaged trust with vets since. They were understanding and took everything slowly. They have never pressured us into doing something that felt uncomfortable, they are extremely honest and give it to you straight. They have on every single occasion told us the severity of the issue, have always given us a fair and reasonable quote, and with procedures that the cost is associated with the duration of the procedure, their quotes are almost perfect and are usually on the lower end of the estimate. So refreshing. Not to mention they remember us and see us as people and pets and not dollar signs. When my father passed away a month ago, they went out od their way and sent us a personalized and beautiful flower arrangement to express their condolences. They treat you like family and love your pet like their own. If you are looking for a new vet clinic, for new pets or veterans, i highly recommend College Manor.

Amazing service we always receive from College Manor Veterinary Clinic since my German Shephard was 6 weeks old, for 8 years now. After an emergency visit at other clinic, at a young age my dog became extremely petrified of clinics, and this caused him being aggressive. Being a large German Shepherd, not everyone would be comfortable in handling him. Not at College Manor Vet, where I am always there with my dog controlling him, whether its is an emergency, or routine visit, with help of the staff. Now he is very friendly with all the staff. They really go over and above to build the bond with their patients. Huge shout out to Dr. Dukoff and all staff who greet my dog with love, care and are super knowledgeable.

Best hospital for my pet, he is always given the best care when he is there. During covid we aren’t allowed to go in with our pets during their visit, and we just started going to this vet hospital 6 months ago. I was nervous at first since I can’t be with him, but all my nerves went away when I was met with a kind technician at the door and even noticed them playing with my cat while we were waiting in the car. It’s nice to see that it isn’t all about the money but about the care and love of animals! Our doctor Ducof (don’t know how to spell his name) is never pushy when it comes to certain care, and only suggests things! He is kind, and since I have never met him in person due to covid, I still feel like I can give him my full trust!

My wife and I had been taking our 2.5 year old black lab mix to College Manor Veterinary hospital since we first got her, but we recently decided to switch to a vet closer to our home in Oshawa because the long distance made scheduling a hassle (no fault of College Manor, their hours are good, just difficult to coordinate with my work schedule). Throughout Nova's 2.5 years of being a patient of College Manor, she always received excellent care and attention, and the staff were always friendly and warm. Being our first dog and my wife and I being worrisome paw-rents, Nova had many vet visits in her first year and the kind staff of College Manor were always willing to offer tips and tricks for raising Nova and were also available to offer some advice over the phone to save a visit. Nova was spayed at College Manor and while the laser procedure was more expensive than other vets had quoted, we felt at ease knowing Nova was in good care. The staff also made sure she was fully prepared to recover at home without any pain or discomfort, and the laser surgery enabled her to heal quickly. We would not hesitate to recommend College Manor to any of our friends or family. We really appreciate how well they took care of our wonderful dog.

Our little Family have been going to College Manor Veterinary Hospital for a very long time with all pets we've owned to date and some that we've had to have put down sadly. I can HONESTLY SAY I have NEVER come across such empathetic and caring individuals in my LIFE when it comes to Veterinarians. Dr. Donai is as SOLID, HONEST AND CARING as they come and his Staff are equally the same and hold the same AMAZING qualities. I would recommend this facility for anyone and their precious pets. They are most importantly HONEST, which in my opinion is the best quality to have as you gain their trust from the get go. Our little Family has unfortunately had to have some pets put down sadly and the loving and understanding care, in which all of their staff possess, is nothing short of deeply appreciated. I wouldn't want to take our pets to any other Veterinary Hospital/Clinic ~ College Manor Veterinary Hospital is #1 and deserve to be recognized for their AMAZING WORK and LOVING CARE for all animals that come through their doors and their Owners. Dr. Donai is also #1 and takes the time with your pet and you. He doesn't rush appointments and gives you a full understanding of what is going on with your pet and advice on what he believes should be done to make your pet feel better and comfortable without pushing unnecessary testing and keeping costs within your budget. Throughout this time the staff have been consistently exceptional: friendly, courteous, responsive to requests, patient and kind, even at busy times when many demands are being placed on them and always compassionate. We typically see Dr. Bruch, and find him to be extremely knowledgeable. He is thorough in his approach and able to share information in a manner that is easy to understand. He takes the time to understand our pets needs. I highly recommend this clinic!

Having the experience working in clinics and veterinary diagnostic lab, I know this is an excellent clinic. Dr allison is very knowledgable and goes through all options with you. This clinic seems like it would be a great place to work and I'm happy to be a client. I've been and worked at "low cost" clinics and I'm more than willing to pay the extra little bit for services to have up to date, calibrated equipment and actual veterinary technicians who have proper educational background and are available in case of emergencies. Highly recommend based on my experience so far.

I was told that they were to busy and that I should call a veterinarian hospital… when I brought up the fact that the big sign on the front of the building says “Veterinary Hospital”, I was given attitude by the receptionist. Maybe you should change your sign and not advertise that you’re a hospital if you’re not…

We had to move to another vet clinic because of my interaction with the clinic manager Julia. I was inquiring about a urinalysis for my dog which was asked by SPCA, to be done at our regular vet clinic. College Manor vet clinic faxed the results to the SPCA and flagged some part of that analysis, but did not bother to call us and let us know what could be wrong with our dog. When I tried to ask Julia why we were not called she replied that it is the SPCA that should be telling us and not them. When I told her that her clinic is my regular vet clinic and if they have flagged something then they need to be contacting me too, that is just the ethical thing to do. She was rude, patronizing and impatient. She kept insisting that this vet clinic does not have to call me if they found any issues but it should be the SPCA. I asked her that I would like to talk to a doctor and she said she would make note. She definitely did not, because I did not receive any phone calls that day or the next. So fed up of the incompetent, rude and unethical conduct we decided to go somewhere else. Please be aware and watch out.
