I give this store two stars because the bathrooms at the front of the store are dirty almost every time I good in there. The toliet paper holder was broken last time I went in and the side of it was hanging down. You could see tape was placed on the top to try and hold it in place. They should redo those bathrooms. Most of the staff that works there are great and helpful.

I dislike the self checkout as I do not work their and I'm not being paid to check myself out I think it's down right lazy the self checkout as Walmart doesn't want to hire people rather have a machine do the work and how all the easy Indians speak in their own language while they are working. And I find some are rude I dont recommend shopping at Walmart and I personally wouldn't call it a super store

They have everything you could imagine here. Huge parking lot with wheelchair accessible entrance. From light duty tools to fresh veggies they got you covered. The grocery section is big, lots of good deals to be found if you look for them.

Customer service is completely lacking. If you order anything off their website just pay the extra and get it shipped to your house. And order way in advance. I ordered a product that was supposed to be a gift for someone and was slated to arrive April 30th, 2019. I picked it up on May 10th. Way past due. The staff at the store level were unsympathetic, very disorganized and seemed more concerned with getting me out of the store than actually helping me figure anything out. The manager I dealt with over the course of this ordeal told me its their shipping companies problem not theirs. Passing the buck and not accepting any responsibility was not really an acceptable answer coming from someone who was supposed to be there to try to help me solve this. Basically these guys couldn’t organize a free lunch. I went in cool, calm and willing to work with the staff to solve the issue and they pushed every single one of my buttons until I ran out of patience. It’s too bad the area is so bad for shopping because I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

I shopped at the Trail Walmart yesterday (July 6th ) - staff was friendly and helpful, but I was shocked at the absence of Covid 19 prevention - the girls at the checkouts had a plexiglass screen in front of them, and that was about the end of covid protocols - none of the staff were wearing masks including the floor help - I noticed zero hand sanitizing stations , there were no signs on the doors suggesting that customers wear masks - it was impossible to maintain 6' spacing from other people - I seemed to be the only one in the store wearing a mask- we have been very lucky here in the Kootenays with the low number of infections, but all it would take is one customer or one clerk to become infected and we could have a major breakout in the area of the West kootenays that the Trail Walmart serves

This is a great store. Since they have upgraded to a supercenter this Wal-Mart has become even more of a great one stop shop. You can count on Wal-Mart to have everything you need from clothing to toys to electronics and now groceries.

The Deluxe KD that was horrid, I’m not sure what happened but my kid got into the sauce while I was on my phone and and he got sick that night. I hope the deluxe KD gets taken off the shelves!!!

Was very displeased with Sandra’s attitude at the customer service desk. She was rude, unwilling to help & when I asked to speak to the manager, the response I received was “I am the manager”. After finding out the main manager’s name, Sandra refused to let me know when I can reach him. After calling back the following day when someone else was on staff, I was able to connect with the main manager & my problem was resolved quite effortlessly & with a smile. Part of my issue was I didn’t have my receipt which Sandra said she couldn’t look up. After I was helped later on by one of the higher ups, they commented how easy it was to find my receipt with the info I had provided them. Sandra’s attitude & lack of effort to service the customer was very irritating. Over all, happy my issue was resolved when dealing with people willing to do their job. Over-all I am happy with Walmart, but displeased with Sandra.

Wal-Mart sometimes has incredible sales. This last time, they had a few racks of clothing for $1.00 It is unfortunate that they have cut back on staff to the point that it is useless to look for assistance on the floor. I had to straighten shelves out in one section in order to look for the sizes I wanted. When an employee was told, they simply shrugged as though they weren't concerned. It was obvious they were helpless to do anything about it, considering the lack of staff

I love Walmart one stop shopping, but Trail Walmart is the most useless Walmart I have ever shopped in. The shelves are always empty. It’s a gamble weather there’s any milk or eggs. The staff are lazy. If you ask where something is you get “over there”, pointing most of the time in the wrong area.

"As a rule" we're not Walmart shoppers.... but Walmart in Trail B.C.is outstanding. Good quality products, good selection. Excellent and helpful pharmacist and a nice line of products. Very impressed also with the friendly and helpful staff - which makes shopping much more pleasant - especially in such a big store.

So much you can find here from snacks and frozen food from all over the world, to organic produce or all the appliances. Everything under one roof for busy people like me. When its my day off I prefer not going to 10 differnt stores looking for what u want.

Store is dirty, looks disorganized and messy.. Staff looked like they want to run away when you stop them in order to ask them a question. Heard the store manager taking on a walkie talkie and they were not saying nice things to whomever they were talking to about someone else.

Staff is great and therefore Walmart receives a star. I swear they probably have more stock in back than on shelves. As for most of their clothing and shoes, I swear we get what you can’t sell elsewhere. Selection is awful unless your there for hair products or meds. I used to enjoy shopping around the store and I am spending much less time there. Up side for some shops is that I am spending more money elsewhere now.

Warning!! Location is highly racist.. It is not a good shopping experience..they do not let you shop..you feel real uncomfortable when they watch you every second!! I talked to a worker and asked why she was following me..and she didn't say anything? I asked for a manager and she ran to the front. I found the manager and the worker was gone..And i told the manager what happened, and she said the worker told her that we looked like criminals.. and I told her that I was a licenced electrician and my wife was a teacher and we were looking for a present for our niece. They didn't even care or apologize. Customer service workers are the same rude and unhelpful.

Just experienced a young girl (30"s) wearing a mask but not over her nose. Not only did she pass by many employees who said nothing to her. In check out for 10 minutes I waited for someone who worked there to say something to this woman. I asked to speak to a manager and was told the associate I was speaking with was a manager. When I explained how upset that made me that none of the staff said anything to her. Then I found out she wasn't a manager and got me to speak to a manager this time. After explaining my dismay with covid and all, and the woman not wearing mask right, she claimed only a manager can tell a customer to wear their masks right, When I asked where is a manager I got a blank stare. I will be making a HUGE SCENE the next time I see a shopper like that. The manager should be standing at the door then to ensure all other shoppers are safe, just because one person!!!!!!! It is not fair to rest of shoppers that abide by the rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to complement the young man working in the flowers department at the Trail Wal-Mart today. I was there around noon May 4, 2021. He was very pleasant and made me feel appreciated for shopping there. It is very seldom that people show good manners and make you feel good about shopping at their business. I just want to acknowledge him for doing his job very well.

We were travelling through Grand Falls when we encountered a flat tire. We are travelling with a young baby and a 5 year old. We waited till they opened and went right to the EMPTY garage. I asked politely if he could patch our tire. (We run over a tiny piece of metal) He was not really interested and said I would have to wait for 2 hours, there wasn't another customer in sight. Thank you OK Tire across the street for saving the day. Your 10 minute repair saved a few meltdowns and a lot of stress. I guess Walmart didn't need our business and has no sympathy for a stranded family

When you’re bored and living the retirement life this is one of the places to go to get your mind active. Great selection and decent prices. Wait to buy the rollback items if you have patience. The McDonald’s inside the store has most menu items, but can be slow at times. Don’t forget to look at the scenery outside. You’re in Western Canada and this Walmart has one of the best views of Mother Nature.

I enjoyed my time at this walmart the staff were quick to open up tills and request additional staff when they see lines forming, wait time was not long and staff were friendly and assisted me in finding what I needed when I asked a qustion on where to find something! Its run very well compared to ones we have in my city and was very impressed!

Very busy. Noone ever seems to be around for help. Or looking at their talzons refusing to even acknowledge customers. They need to get back to basics and help their customers. Only to herd us to the tills or machines. Very impersonal.
