Despite the long drive to fetch our puppy outside of the city (6 hours total), our driver Steven was such a delight that it made the time pass seamlessly. We contacted Your Dog Butler to inquire about their services a month before our arrival. They were communicative and extremely helpful. They not only answered our queries but took the initiative to understand the challenges we were facing with transporting our dog and made suggestions. I was in a major bind today since I do not drive and my little guy doesn't do well on the TTC and we needed to go to an emergency vet appointment and had less than two hours to get there! My driver called me just before he arrived to let me know he would be here within 6.5 mins and he wasn't a second late! He was a super friendly driver and very patient as he waited for my dog to finish at the vet. He even gave me some tips which I will be using. My dog got a little sick as we were a minute away from the vet and the driver was so chill about it and did not get upset even though I felt horrible. I offered to clean it and he said not to worry about it and he had tons of disinfectant spray, wipes and even more blankets! I have been using Your Dog Butler for over a year now and they're the best pet transportation service we'll ever receive. My dog Leslie loves riding their car, it's the only car that she'll never get sick on. They have big space in the back and toys for her ready. The car is absolutely clean and they care a lot about their costumers comfort. Their prices are reasonable and cheaper than a Taxi, they care for your pet like it's their own. I'd definitely recommend them for anyone and everyone.

Overpriced. The trip cost almost double that of the actual vet consult which blew my mind. The driver showed up a whole half hour LATE and still had the gall to charge the full rate PLUS "waiting fee". Got us there safely and back but that's it. Driver couldn't stand our cat's meowing so he turned up the radio. He also went into the exam room with us and the vets were speaking to him like he was part of our family which was weird. Drivers should not follow the patient's family into the exam room. It was off-putting and still does not justify the high cost of the "waiting fee". Paid cash and when asked for invoice, it was never sent. Uber would have cost half of what Your Dog Butler charged for the same trip. There's nothing to justify the high cost of transport. It was a regular SUV and the driver was not certified in animal specialty care and there were no extra perks. Apparently owning one dog allows you to overcharge. Make sure you get the full estimate breakdown before you even step into the car.

We had an amazing experience with My Dog Butler . Mark and Arlene provided excellent service . We travelled with 4 pets and lots of suitcases to Europe from Toronto . I sent an email request on very short notice (Friday around midnight for a Saturday noon service) after learning of a TTC subway closure, and Arlene responded within minutes confirming there was availability. She gave me a call first thing the following morning to set up transport to and from our puppy's groomer. The gentleman who drove us there and back was absolutely lovely, and we were so impressed with the setup in the back of the vehicle – soft bedding, an abundance of toys, and a clip to attach her leash so that she could still investigate the entire space while staying safe. They don't deserve any rating lesser than this. It was a pretty much simple ride; just 3 kms. But we were shifting house from an Airbnb to a condo. and we had ton loads of luggage (our dog weighed lesser than one of such 5 bags!!). The fare was a bit on the expensive side, but to be fair, we were charged more on the size of the luggage than the distance or the dog. An amazing person, Mark, picked us up, happily helped us with all the luggage, was a very cheerful, charming guy too! He helped us take down all the luggage as well and DID NOT LEAVE until I have gone into my condo with all the luggage (which took three rounds for me!) Oh and yes, this was on a very short notice and they were very quick to respond! They call you back no matter how late it gets!

This has been a long time coming and will be a bit of a long post. The condensed version goes like this.... We purchased a beautiful German Shepherd puppy we were bringing in to the USA from Canada. We hired Your Dog Butler to handle the process and they were amazing. The did everything perfectly to cross the boarder and load our puppy on the cargo plane to fly to Salt Lake City. Steve made the drop off to American Airlines, an hour later they called me and told me to have him come pick up the dog, he had been deemed too aggressive to fly. We won't go into all that now, but seriously, he is 8 weeks old and in a kennel, and afraid. Steve goes back and talks them into trying it again. NOPE, no go. So now what? I am in Salt Lake City. Puppy is in Buffalo NY. Your Dog Butler is out of Canada. I'm panicked but get on the first flight out of Salt Lake City knowing my puppy is distressed. First flight out gets delayed and I spend the night in Detroit. Not to worry, Your Dog Butler knew exactly what to do. They took him to Cara Mia Pet Resort, where they have a relationship with the owner. Arlene knew they would calm him down and make sure he was okay until I could get to him. They contacted the kennel to make sure they could closely match the food he was used to. Arlene was in constant contact with me during the two days it took me to get to Buffalo. I received videos showing him content and happy. It took a village but after a four day drive across the country we made it safely to our ranch in Salt Lake City. These are the people you want handling your pet, period! Yes, there are many that can get your dog across the boarder if everything goes smoothly, but what if it doesn't go smoothly? Julie did a phenomenal job picking them up just over the border and getting them safely across and to the airport in Toronto to be flown to Vancouver. This is a marvellous service, extremely well organized, especially at this worrisome time. We were stressed to the max with a dog in extreme pain due for an MRI on the other side of town. We don't drive. And has two days of back and forth to get through. The women who answered the phone was calm and professional providing a car in half an hour. My dog and husband were picked up in an impeccably clean car, with protocols for virus in place. Medical gloves were provided for my husband. The driver, Mark, was kind and patient, and waited with my husband, waiting outside the facility for initial assessment results to take him home. He even offered to get coffee. At the end of the ordeal our dog was brought home to us after his MRI. It is hard to express the difference this made to the whole worrying episode. It was a Godsend. Words can not explain how amazing this service is! From the dispatch to the driver I had a great experience. My dog had surgery and I had to go from Toronto to Guelph and back. Our driver Jack was wonderful and trained in CPR (ex paramedic) and drives a fully loaded dog mobile (dog ramp) and it’s cheaper than taking an Uber. Our experience with Dog Butler was exceptional. From the very first meeting with Mark, it was clear that they could be trusted with our dog, Yogi - who was typically scared of new people, but not with Mark and his team. We contracted Dog Butler to walk Yogi, privately, 2-3 times per week. Without fail, they arrived on time and took great care of Yogi. The process for booking walks, receiving invoices and providing payment were easy, transparent and responsive. Soon after we started to use Dog Butler, we learned that Yogi, whom we love(d) very, very much was sick with cancer. While we were heartbroken - this was truly the most difficult time in our lives together - Dog Butler, in particular Michelle who was the regular walker, was incredible. Yogi hated being alone, so having someone visit with him for a few hours a day during this time, while he was undergoing chemo, was a huge comfort for us and a JOY for Yogi. I'm so thankful that I came across Your Dog Butler online, I used their services a few days ago to bring my English Mastiff to PetSmart hotel in Etobicoke while I was going away for a few days and the driver that came to pick me and my English Mastiff up from my place is Named Mark, he called upon arrival and waited outside the van with the back door open for my dog and the front door open for me, the back of the van is equipped with strong bars that seem to be bolted together into the van so the dog doesn't get to the front of the vehicle, the back of the van also has a carpet and a bunch of toys and a seat belt for the dog, Mark did provide my dog with a ramp for him to get into the back of the van easier but my dog decided to just jump in instead, throughout the drive, Mark made sure that i was okay with the AC on or if I wanted it off, He spoke to me and had conversations with me about anything and made me feel like as if we've known each other for years which made it more comfortable the drive, once we arrived at the PetSmart hotel in Etobicoke, Mark got out of the van to open up the back door with the ramp to let my dog out and off we went into PetSmart, after 5mins being inside PetSmart hotel in Etobicoke and finding out that they won't take my dog anymore for boarding, I was pretty much stuck and I called Mark up right away and he came back to the store in a few minutes, we went back to the van and I explained to him what had happened and he went out of his way to make a few phone calls to see if someone could watch my dog for a few days, after a little while, we had found somewhere else to bring my dog over for dog boarding for a few days and he drove me and my dog to the other place and once we got there he stayed in the van with my dog while I went inside to speak with the secretary, once I got the okay I went back to the van to get my dog, Mark went above and beyond for me when I got screwed over in the last minute by PetSmart hotel in Etobicoke, and I'm thankful and grateful for everything that he had done for me and my dog, I wish I could give Your Dog Butler more than a 5 star rating, they deserve a 10 star rating for everything that they have done, I used their services again when I got back to the city to pick up my dog and drop us off back home and I will definitely be using their services again and again and I highly recommend to anyone else who is reading this that they should consider using Your Dog Butler for your pet transportation needs, Thank you Mark and Your Dog Butler for your service and all that you've done.

I have been using The Dog Butler for almost half a year now and is always impressed with their service. This time around I was in a pinch (as the lady who usually walks my dog to The Dog Butler’s car was hospitalized) and I needed extra help to retrieve my dog from inside the house. The name of the company says it all! This was my first time requesting pet taxi service and after this experience, this will be the only company I will be dealing with moving forward. From start (online inquiry, phone conversation, trip reminder) to finish (the day of the trip) it was nothing but amazing! My husband and I recently used a Pet Relocation company based in Dubai to relocate my two Labradors, Mucker and Goldie, to Toronto. Unfortunately, it does not provide a door-to-door service nor does it liaise with a local travel / pet taxi agent in Toronto. Therefore, I was left with no other option than to blindly search on the internet for some assistance and came upon Your Pet Butler. It was such a simple process: fill in an online form and from there on, I was able to secure my dogs being picked up from their flights arriving at Pearson Airport, Toronto. My husband I had two dogs, two XL and XXL dog crates and our luggage (5 check in bags and 4 carry on). Needless to say, we didn’t have anything to worry about….Mark showed up, strapped the crates to his vehicle, loaded all our luggage, secured everything, all whilst my Labs had a much needed play / run around in the small dog area just outside the airport. As previously agreed with Arlene, Mark was to drive us to our new rental property in Ajax….our first home in Toronto. He was amazing, kept us entertained on the journey, informed us about what to expect as newbies to Canada. He had bottles of cold water for my husband and I and a plethora of dogs’ toys for the pooches. He was like our personal relocation specialist! Note to all expats coming from the Middle East….when the pet relocation people don’t have an agent on the Toronto side to organise ‘home delivery’ of fur babies, just call Arlene at Your Pet Butler! When we arrived to the house, Mark did a walk though of our back garden to make sure it was safe for the dogs….and if it didn’t get better than that, he dropped us off at a local car hire place within a five-minute ride. Awesome experience. They are very nice and make sure everything is done correctly and with care. Our flight was supposed to arrive at 11pm but it was delayed by more than an hour and Mark (our driver) was very patient and nice with us, despite being tired. We had to pay an extra for overtime but it was worth it. They have a big van and they could fit 2 dogs inside their crates. Keep in mind you'll have to take a Taxi and meet with them at your destination (not sure if it's policy or just because we're two and there was no room left). Recommend!

If you're looking to import a puppy and need help this is the company to do business with. The Dog Butler is extremely knowledgeable with all customs issues and paperwork. Arlene knew exactly what she was doing. I just needed to fill out a couple pieces of basic paper work, she did the rest. Which believe me is no easy thing. Especially when you're dealing with customs. We live in CT, we wanted to meet her on NY border, she brought the puppy across the line and met us exactly where discussed. Each time he comes, he takes care to outfit Lennie and Raffi with their winter coats and booties and exercise them outdoors for at least 30-45 minutes. I had the most amazing experience using this service. The driver was incredibly friendly and very service oriented. My fur baby is quite rambunctious and she didn’t want to be in the back by herself. The driver stopped and brought her to the front with me. He had a harness for her and put it on her without any issue (even though she didn’t sit still for a second). There was a bottle of water for her and lots of toys. The driver made sure the temperature was to my liking as well as the music. When he picked us up the next day, he walked her for me while I said goodbye to my parents. There were also Halls waiting for me in the car, because I had mentioned having a sore throat the day before. They really do go over and above for the customer and make you feel like you and your fur babies are the priority. Overall, I would recommend this service 150%. I have absolutely no complaints about the company or driver and only have great things to say.
