So this was our first time using vetster. We didn't know whether teleconferencing with veterinarians was actually a thing and when we did weren't sure what to expect from a virtual visit.We were hoping to get step-by-step advice for an issue with our cat Jean and Michael walked us through everything we'd need to do, spoke to us about aftercare, and answered every single one of our questions.He was extremely patient, put our minds at ease, was very knowledgeable, and gave us confidence that we have a great plan and every contingency. I'd rate our experience with Dr. Micheal and Vester 10 stars if I could. If you're a concerned pet mom or dad I can't recommend Dr. Micheal and Vetster enough.

I am beyond grateful to have found this option, and Dr Rao was amazing! We do virtual appointments already with my dog's behavioral vet, and I love being able to do the same for situations like this one. Efficient but also caring, all my questions were answered and honestly we were good to go in under 15 minutes. Basically the same as at my vet but without the drive and wait time; in person vet appointments today are generally weeks out, and I've (understandably) spent 4 hours waiting for an after hours appointment. Also, being able to avoid a waiting room with a fear aggressive dog is a lifesaver, even without the pandemic. Prescriptions easily ordered online, arriving tomorrow!

Dr. Kate Papp is a blessing!!! Vincent my lab pitmix was not well and we had already done a face to face with his normal vet. They gave no answers and did no feel tests (at least not in front of me). Dr. Papp had me perform at home tests and I gave her all the information of symptoms. She was patient and understanding to everything and diagnosed Vince within my allowed hr timeframe for the appointment. Vincent was unable when I contacted her to pick himself up off his bed literally over night the next morning with the meds she prescribe (she kept it real with me which I appreciate and said these meds would honestly give him a 50 50 chance) he got up and was walking. Not 100% but much improved for sure. She saved me additional cost and write script to my local RiteAid and advised to download GoodRx for extra discounts. One script was $134 said the pharmacist but with GoodRx is came down to $12. I have a new appreciation for online vet services and have told everyone that I know about. I have even posted about it on Facebook. If you have doubts but you are tired of being rip off by vet office you really need to try this you won't be disappointed I can reassure you. I don't know if all Dr.s do this but she even provided me with a cell phone to text with any questions and asked to be up dated on his condition. She even texted after putting in the prescription to let me know that it had been done. My mind is blown with how impressed I was with this.

After trying for half a day to find a vet clinic to see my cat Zappa, I had no luck. I finally stumbled upon Vetster in a google search and decided to check it out. By 9:30 pm that evening, we had a virtual appointment with Dr.Lecky. She was phenomenal, professional and got right down to business with trying to figure out what was wrong with our little guy. She was so thorough and called in medications to be filled at our pharmacy that was closing in 20min, and I was able to get there and pick them up before close. The next day, she even called a local vet clinic so Zappa could get prescription food (which he loves by the way). He is now on the mend, thanks a million! I've been telling everyone about the fantastic service we received from Vetster!

My dog developed cough like symptoms and stopped barking. When I took him to my local vet, they gave him some cough suppressant and sent me home with no clear diagnosis of the underlying condition along with an estimate for $1500 for all kinds of scans and X-Rays if it does not subside within the next 4 days. Next day the symptoms got worse and I booked an appointment with Dr Ed for a 2nd opinion. As soon as I described the symptoms, the very first question he asked me if my dog was boarded in the past 10 days. My dog was boarded a week ago and he correctly identified the issue as kennel cough and gave him some antibiotics to prevent him from getting any secondary infection. If you are here reading reviews and wondering if this service works, rest assured it was easy to book appointment and the video quality was excellent.Overall fantastic experience and I will be using him again in the future. Too bad live so far away, otherwise, I would have made him the primary vet for my dog.

The pandemic has been tough on the veterinary industry and I know many pet parents have concerns and are looking at longer than usual wait times through their local veterinarian. We used Vetster for a worrysome growth on our dog's tail. Rather than having to adjust our work schedules to get her to her regular vet, we had an appointment within minutes. We were able to upload pictures of our concern, as well as speak to a local vet live on a video call, where she looked closely at the tail. Had we needed a prescription, it could be filled through vetster and picked up at a local pharmacy. Luckily we didn't. Not only was the service just as good as an in-person appointment, it was faster, more convenient and cheaper.

Finding an emergency vet on December 26th, the Sunday after the Christmas holiday is not an easy feat. The local veterinary emergency hospital had at least a 5-hour wait, and other hospitals in the tri-state were diverting patients. The Vetster online process was user-friendly and transparent. I was able to meet with Dr. Olaitan approximately 1 hour later and had prescriptions filled 45 minutes after that. We were fortunate to get an appointment on short notice with Dr. Yett on the eve of New Years Day (!!) after our 7-yr old pup Lucy was acting very strange (shaking and visibly uncomfortable with no other symptoms present). Dr. Yett helped guide us through an at-home triage and encouraged us to take Lucy to the emerg clinic. Luckily, blood work and other tests came back normal and we were able to rule out any serious illnesses which lead us to understand that Lucy had a back injury. I have found the unimaginable - A BUN FRIENDLY TELEMED VET!!! Dr. Consentino of Vetster answered all of my questions with a smile and reassurance, was flexibile when rebooking my appointment time, and was able to quickly and efficently address my concerns. We came up with a treatment plan (including what do to now, what to watch out for, what to do if XYZ happens, and when to seek an in-person assessment). I left the appointment feeling like I knew exactly what I needed to do to make sure my Bun has the best care in the upcoming days and what to keep an eye out for in case he did not improve. At first I was a little hesitant of the service given the price (~$80CAD), but during and after the appointment I felt the value of the service fee was WELL worth the information received, time allotted, and expertise available for the issue. Compounded with the fact that I would not be able to see my regular vet for an appointment for a few days, the expertise and peace of mind was well worth the fee. I will definitely be keeping Vetser in my back pocket for any upcoming (relatively non-urgent) vet needs in the future, as my bun has a complicated case that sometimes makes me worry, haha! I would easily and wholeheartedly recommend both Dr. Consentino as well as the service Vetster for ANYONE with a little Bun or pocket pet, or any member of their furry family. My two new kittens have had several health problems since I got them. Most recently, they both started having some skin issues, which were clearly getting worse by the day. The first available vet appointmentwas 9 days out. I really didn't want to have to take them to an emergency vet out of town that would most likely be extremely costly. Dr. Rao was very kind and thorough. He explained his reasoning for the course of treatment he prescribed and even called me briefly after the appointment just to make sure I understood the instructions he'd given. I had to schedule an appointment for each kitten separately, but that didn't surprise me. The local vet would've charged me for seeing each one too. Using Vetster may have been slightly pricier than going to the local vet, but it was certainly cheaper, easier, and less time-consuming than going to the emergency vet. Using Vetster itself was incredibly easy and I would do it again in a heart beat and I would absolutely schedule with Dr. Rao.

I was desperate to find help for my small dog. I don't drive and could not find any help to transport me and my dog to a vet. I suspected he had a prolapsed trachia. With my new smartphone, I found Vetster and booked an appointment. Because of spotty reception, I asked for a call on my landline. The call with Dr. Quinn of Vetster was professional, polite and thourough. I did not feel rushed or dismissed. The Dr. prescribed and explained the medications simply but completely. The Dr. promised a follow-up contact, and there WAS. I had trouble filling the prescriptions, and the rep from Vetster had a pharmacy call me to fill the prescription. Again, courtesy was the name of the game. The prescriptions are sent insured the same day for a very reasonable cost. After my experience with Vetster, I will use the service again and recommend to any owner of a four footed friend. The real surprise is the cost. The appointment cost was $60!!! There is no charge for the follow-up, no hidden back end fees or any cross charges with the pharmacy. I know my local vet's charges would have been about $300 because I asked for an estimate. Living on social security should not make it too expensive to own a pet. This is a really good service with real vet's and real love of animals. I awoke this morning to my 2 year old mutt's eyes nearly swollen shut as if due to an allergic reaction of some sort. Dr. Ashley Smith answered all my questions (and there were plenty), in a very friendly manner and in such a way that made it easier to understand. I struggle with ADD and have a hard time following several step directions especially with new information. She took the time to explain things several times and also emailed me everything in writing so as to not forget anything important. I was hesitant to use a virtual service like this versus going in person. Not only was this visit so much easier than in person, it was about 40 percent cheaper. She had my dog's prescriptions called in and they were ready quicky after. It was also late at night when I came home from work and found out my dog needed to be seen that night. The local emergency vet office said they had an eight hour wait and recommend Vetster to me. I had an appointment and talked with the vet within an hour! I will definitely use this service again to see Dr. Ashley Smith the next time I need a Veterinarian!

We suspected that our poor kitty had ear mites, but wanted to speak with a doctor first before treating her with over the counter medication. I am so glad that we did - Dr. Harmeet gave very good advice on how to treat the mites, but also recommended not using the OTC stuff because it can cause other problematic issues, which we were not aware of. He was very kind and very professional. I highly recommend him for caring for animals. Also, having telemedicine for minor pet ailments right now during covid? I'm very happy to have this available so everyone, including the humans, can stay safe. Thank you again!

Dr. Jassal is an amazing vet. My pup is sick. He was knowledgeable and empathetic and was easy to talk to. The pharmacy that he called the prescription over to gave me a really hard time. I was able to get in touch with Dr. Jassal a couple of hours after the appointment at around 8 pm on the Sunday of a long weekend and he responded right away, he got in touch with the pharmacy and made sure that the issue with the jerk of a pharmacist at the shoppers drugmart at 700 strasburg in Kitchener was resolved and made it so that I was able to get the medication needed for my pup. I will definitely be using this service again in the future if my animals need urgent care after hours when my regular vet is not available.

Very pleased with the Vetster experience! Simple to register and uploading photos in advance of our appointment was easy and intuitive. (My iPhone could not connect to video but had zero issues on a standard browser.) The appointment was professional, compassionate, and very thorough. Dr Frank Akawi gave us practical tips on how to immediately treat our very senior cat's infection, along with recommendations for a protocol going forward, and benchmarks for improvement. Very glad to have found this site and Dr. Akawi. Our family cat is nearly 20 years old, so taking him to the vet or the clinic is a traumatic experience for all of us, and our priority is to keep him comfortable at home for as much time as he has left. Vetster and Dr. Akawi made that a reality for us today.

My 11 year old dog had a swollen eye that seemed to be infected. Not only does she does not travel well and hates going to the vet, we could not find anyone to take her over the weekend as it wasn't that "urgent". Dr Ezra was able to see her via telemed appointment and prescribe antibiotic drops for her right away. Even when the pharmacy was giving him a hard time about filling the script for an animal, he reached out right away so we could call another pharmacy. So happy we were able to get the drops on Friday night and by Sunday, her eye was back to normal and on the mend thanks to Dr Ezra!
