Because of their quick thinking and expertise they were able to assess our pups situation and get him into surgery before any further distress was caused. I brought my dog in to be assessed as he is getting older and a bit slower. I was very impressed with his care. The veterinarian took her time and thoroughly examined him. We put him on some food for older dogs and also some daily supplements. They suggested that we send out some blood to the lab and I am happy I did. He has early kidney disease and I am able to help this because they saw it early. That is great! Duke is so important to us and we want to keep him in our family for a long time!

Mostly convenient as it is close to my home. Friendly and well educated staff. As with most vets, it can be a bit pricey but nothing out of the ordinary. They have their own pet insurance plan which can help reduce up front costs of expensive dental work, etc. My dog is a rescue with vision impairment, anxiety and is a bit skittish due to his past. Probably not the easiest dog to groom and previous groomers there seemed frustrated dealing with him. However, he has been seeing a particular groomer named Tina there for a number of years. She has been amazing with him and does an awesome job. I don't think he minds coming here and it has the approval of the cat as well. I have never had a bad experience. Most of the staff, if not all have animals of their own.

This has been my vet for quite some time now. They always treat me and my animals amazing. I've never had an issue bringing my pets here. The doctors do seem to change alot though as I've never really seen the same one consistently A++++ I'd recommend bringing your furry family members here 100% ????????????

We just adopted an adult dog and were referred to McLean Animal hospital. We could not be happier with the service. All of the staff were professional, friendly, accommodating, polite, and so incredibly nice to our dog. He loved the visit as much as we did. The fees were so reasonable, we were expecting to spend more. In addition, we bought a 'Wellness plan' which takes care of routine visits for one year, along with some other perks. The fact that our dog, who has been through a lot before we adopted him, was welcomed with open arms, and wagged his tail the whole time he was there means a lot. Thank you to everyone. We are your clients for life.

This place used to be good but lately they only care about gauging their customers. I have been going here for a long time and recently took my dog there because he was acting funny. Did tons of tests at a cost $500+ all of them came back normal. He was better in a few days and has been fine since. 3 weeks later I called to make an appointment to get his annual vaccines. Explained since I was just there and he was examined and tested extensively I did not want to pay for another exam. This was not an option for them and I would have no choice but to pay the exam fee. Really guys? Also in the summer my dog needed to have a benign lump removed. Was told it would be $1400 and they would need to sedate him. This didn't seem right, I was not concerned so much about the money but more about sedating my dog for no reason. I went to a more experienced vet for a second opinion and was told he would never consider sedating him given the location and this could all be done with a local anesthetic. Total cost was $425 which included sending it in for a biopsy. I will not be going back to Mclean's. There are much better and more honest clinics out there that actually care about the safety of you pets and that don't force you to pay for things you don't need. The only thing I will miss is Marion from the front desk. She was amazing.

I love my Veterinary clinic, all of the staff are very friendly, they can usually squeeze me in if they are tight and I have an emergency, in fact that is the reason I left my former vet, they were always booked up for weeks in advance and never had exceptions. Their contactless process during COVID has been great. They also don't try and upsell their services, which I love!! They have an inhouse pet care plan which is affordable and very useful.

My cat needed a dental extraction. From beginning to end, they treated my cat like he was there own. I was very nervous as it was the first surgery I experienced with my own pet but bless their souls. They took the time to reassure me that it will be okay and walked me through everything. Answer all the questions I had and sent me updates throughout. He came out of the surgery like a champ. Mclean staff are amazing. It was needed and I shopped around and it was the best price. They were more than willing to work with me as per payment and explaining every cost in detail. My trust is fully with them.

The service is great every time I take my dog they checked him and address my concerns. I always get a cold next day to see how’s he doing even though I just took him for vaccines, great customer service. They offer a wellness plan, that gives me peace of mind knowing that I can just take him for a nail trim or if I’m concerned about something he will be treated with love and knowledge. Their team is very helpful, they always remind me of the services I have left in my plan, and encourage me to use them. ( services included in it that are included in the plan and people should take advantage of).

It’s taken me a while to review this place because I was too lazy to recover my google password but I should have done this a long time ago. I love this place and all their staff! If it’s a routine checkup or an emergency situation, they’ve always done the best for all my dogs. All of my dogs are happy to come here for any reason, even my min pin Molly who hates everybody. My dogs have had lots of surgery and they’ve always done a wonderful job. Molly has a lot of misadventures and I can always rely on Sam to get the vets attention and get her taken care of even when all the vets are busy. All the staff is really wonderful and I recommend them to everybody.

If I forget to ask them to reorder, they always remember to call me and ask if I'd like them to order it. With lots of things going on, they still remember to do the little things which makes a big difference!

I LOVE this animal hospital!! I recommend it 100%!! The vets are amazing, their vet techs are amazing! Everyone who works there is amazing and so understanding. It's fast and easy to make an appointment or move it to a different time! They have an amazing insurance plan available and it is SO WORTH IT!!! I have saved so much money through the plan(which covers most vaccine and visits). I moved to Mississauga and I refuse to change vets because I love this one!! If you're thinking about this vet as an option I suggest you go with it!!! You will not regret it EVER!! Love them!

I am very grateful to Dr. Dacosta and the staff at McLeans. My cat was in distress with a bad infection and needed to see a vet ASAP. Our regular vet would not look at him until 4 days later. Due to Covid even the emergency vets are not accepting any new pets and we had 6 rejections from other clinics before getting an appointment with McLeans for the same day. Luckily he is now fine after receiving antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication following positive bloodwork results. Thank goodness there are still some vets that are sympathetic to animals' needs when there are so many callous clinics in this city.

I've been taking my dog here for a long time now. They are okay, some staff are a bit rude and rushing over the phone, some are friendly and nice. Service is good, Dr Sean ( no longer with the company ) was great, Dr. Da Costa and Dr Low have seen my dog in the past for issues and other surgeries too. For grooming I've only taken my dog here once as she needed to be sedated, they left out cleaning her ears. Will try to groom her here again though and give them another chance.

When I lived in the city I took my dog there for 4 years. I was very happy with their service with the exception that one inexperienced doctor wanted to muzzle him. Told him there’s no need my dog is not aggressive. Overall great place. Friendly staff.

I was looking for a new Vet in the area since we just moved and this place just stood out from it's photos. It seemed friendly and comfortable rather than sterile and hospital-esque. My thoughts were confirmed when I arrived. They have a chalk board with your pet's name on it when you walk in the door. The staff attending the front desk are really friendly as well! When i set up the appointment they asked which vet i had been at in the past and they did the legwork to get past records for our cats. The vet was incredibly helpful and good with our cat and she talked for awhile about options. They handled him well during his brief procedure and all was well! We will most definitely be bringing our other two cats here in the near future. 10/10 would recommend!

As a brand new pet owner, the staff at McLean's Animal Hospital have been so patient and kind with answering all my questions and concerns. Dr. Da Costa has been wonderful with educating me on pet care, medical results and very responsive with keeping me up to date on my pet's health while in their care. I would like to say how appreciative my family & I were for the professional yet caring way in which Dr Low worked with us & the gentle way she handled our loving pet. The time she gave us to make our decisions that finally led to us having to euthanize Misty. Dr Low encouraged us to take our time & took us into a room so we can spend time & hold Misty during the process. We appreciate all that she did for us during this time & thank her for her caring loving way during Misty's final time. It tells us how much she cares for her patients & love for her job. It's been quite a few years but I want to update this review as my other review may have been too scathing and also to respond to the owner. I used to go to this location a lot because I lived nearby when I first got my dog as a puppy. The experiences I had were very mixed, initially it was alright. The staff started out as very friendly, one was the technicians was awesome, very knowledgeable and had the same breed of dog as I do. Unfortunately I didn't feel like the welfare of my dog was the priority, but the amount of money I could spend. They've definitely pushed expensive unnecessary treatments and misquoted the amount on an invoice. The friendly office manager completely flipped 180 when disagreed with and we parted ways. I quickly found a much better vet since leaving McLean. And to the owner, we don't have to agree, but that was my experience with your location. Now you have a completely different team of staff, I hope things have improved.
