For all you pet lovers. This is a new facility that just opened. If you are looking to take your pets to the vet without that expensive bill. Well this is the place to go. Friendly people, good doctor's and the price will keep money in your pocket.

My dog loves coming here. She's had her yearly check up & shots, nails trimmed, and a medical emergency treated here. Call ahead to make sure they aren't too busy or else you will have a long wait.

Service was smooth considering the pandemic. Our "little" guy went in to get fixed and we are thrilled with how he is doing. Big shout out to the staff who took care of him for my Wofe and I. Thank you! Sorry for the picture quality, took it through the windshield.

Very affordable and reliable animal clinic with great staff, only fault is that they are a bit too popular so very busy and sometimes hard to get an appointment. Even busy as they are they were quick to get me an email of our dogs proof of vaccination when we needed it urgently. Excellent.

I booked a vaccination appointment for my dog. I was informed that he needed a checkup and later on they tell me he has a bladder infection so I had to pay 100$ for his antibiotics. They wouldn't let me book another appointment so I had to book with another clinic. Because of those antibiotics my dog started to cough up blood. The doctors at the other clinic told me that they gave him medication for a bladder infection without even taking a urine test, which is very unprofessional. In addition to this they gave him a vaccine without even doing a checkup which is quite illegal.

I would be careful going there. Ive been going there the past two weeks and already seen some pretty bad quality about this location. First day going there was alright, they were able to help my three year old cat and she is better now. Second time going there, i brought in my 14 weeks old kitten ans I found a flea on the floor, when I warned them they tried blaming it on my own cat. I know in fact she didn’t have any fleas on her since she has been on preventatives. Third day going there, I was picking up my prescriptions which they gave the wrong dosage since they didn’t weight my kitten and put a random higher weight on it. This could have caused some serious liver and kidney disease to my kitten. The only reason I caught this is because I asked questions and knew that they didn’t weigh my kitten. I also find that they have a really hard time at answering phones in the afternoon, which is quite unprofessional. If I didn’t study about this stuff and didn’t know about the things that I know, I would have been clueless and cause more injury to my kitten. The only good thing is that the vets do know their stuff and will prescribe medication that will help your animals. You just need to be careful and ask as much question as possible.

The most affordable Vet in my area, the staff is super nice and friendly. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait but totally worth it for the price.

DO NOT take your pet there and save time and your sanity. 0(ZERO) customer service, LOOONGGG wait time, NO internal communication amoung them nor kept records and NO accountability when they mess things up! It's getting worse and worse each year! Trust me you are better somewhere else! I hope this review helps you to makeup your mind.

My puppy recently ate a face cloth, and would've had to been put down if it wasnt for these amazing people! They operated on him immediately and the surgery was very cost friendly. They truly saved my little mans life. I cant thank them enough!

I really wouldn’t recommend this place. Refused to confirm death of my dog but would take her body for cremation without confirming to me she was passed away. It’s okay if your low income but the staff are rude and I would only recommend one dr there and that’s Dr Mary. The male Dr is very arrogant and rude.

If I could give zero stars I would. I went last year to get my dog his shots. We showed up 15 minutes before the appointment and had to wait half an hour before they saw us...there was broken glass all along the building an infront of the door. Staff was very rude. I had to follow up this year to book an appointment for the shots again...I didn't want to go anywhere else because of coivid. Called to make an appointment and they told me that they won't see my dog. So I went to another vet closer to home and tried getting my records transferred and they refused to send the records to me or the new vet. They are cheap, but you pay for what you get. Cheaper rates, horrible customer service. When it comes to my pets I'd rather spend more to get them proper care. Not worth it at all.

Prices reflect service quality. Gets the job done but not the greatest bedside major and revolving set of vets providing care. Prices are the only thing that keep our family from coming back, but if you can swing higher costs, I'd go elsewhere.

We have been with this clinic since our oldest Husky was a puppy and now our new puppy comes here as well. We recently had an emergency and they squeezed us in on the same day. Now that COVID is settling down they are allowing one person to go in with pets. Dr. Mary saw our oldest who was not doing too good, she came in the room and I immediately felt at ease. She was so kind to me and my dog, he instantly took to her. She was so reassuring. We did bloodwork and a urine sample. Usually bloodwork is a bit pricey anywhere especially if you don't have insurance but it was really worth it especially since he's 5 , so we needed to check everything out anyway. Dr. Mary called me a few days later and gave the results over the phone and was just as kind as always. Overall, this clinic is the best we could ever come too. I will always come back, my boys have never had any problems with the staff and always run in to greet everyone. The staff are always very kind as well.

What can you say best clinic in Toronto fair pricing great doctors and nurses. You can trust Brimley I have been using Brimley for 30 years or more.

I took my cat for surgery and after a few days we noticed that his neck bleeding and peeling due to the tightness of his cone. I hope that you can treat the pets with more care. This really breaks my heart.

Stephanie Anne

I had to say goodbye to my cat, and it all happened rather suddenly. They got us in quickly, gave us space and time to say goodbye and gather ourselves before leaving. The doctor was very kind, very patient and explained the process well. She was very reassuring when I started to second guess if I was doing the right thing. Damn is it a hard choice. My cat left this world peacefully, without pain or stress. She even purred one last time for the vet. I didn't catch the doctor's name, but she was a kind woman on one of the worst days of my life, thank you.

Yasir Akhtar

You get what you pay for. They tell you to call before entering. We were on the phone for 35 minutes in a snowstorm. Walked in to the receptionist eating a bagel and talking about her life. No apologies, no remorse… some people are nice but mostly inexperienced individuals collecting a pay cheque with no consequences. Nothing else to say.

Dominique N.

Very courteous staff and qualified doctors. We first discovered this place looking for a more affordable place to neuter our cat and since then we've kept coming back. No problems and no complaints so far!

Ashley Ortizo

The receptionist was so kind , knowledgeable and understanding! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog Stella was comfortable! She even carried my dog because she was scared of getting jnside! The vets are always so knowledgeable! The prices are also very reasonable! My go to vet thank you!!

Rowena Castaneda M

GREAT STAFF DURING THAT DAY AUGUST 20,2021… VERY GOOD DOCTOR THAT SEEMED VERY OLD BUT HE IS BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS YOUNGER DOCTORS THAT CHECKED MY DOG FOR EAR INFECTION WHO GAVE ME ALL SORTS OF ANTIBIOTICS AND EAR DROPS THAT NEVER WORK… THATS WHY AFTER 2 APPOINTMENT AND MY DOG NEVER HEALED..I NEVER WENT BACK FOR A FEW YEARS TILL ONLY LAST MONTH….THE DOCTOR IS LIKE 85 YEARS OLD BUT INTELLIGENT ONE!! HE GAVE MY DOG JUST AN OTIC EAR DROPS AND IT HEALED MY DOG FOR JUST 1 DROPPED I SWEAR!!! THAT DOCTOR IS NOT A RIP OFF

Shawn Surgeoner

We have been going to this vet for the past 4 years with both our dog and our cats. The staff are super friendly and the prices are great.

Candice Kelley

This is the 2nd time I have booked an appointment and when I show up on the date and time they tell me I don’t have an appointment. One time - okay fine it happens but two times? That’s a little much plus I didn’t receive an apology or anything. I’m not happy with the service either. Not the nicest people.

M L

Always love this clinic..friendly staff and accommodating. Dr. Mary is really patient and kind. Love this place ❤

jessica emmons

Always welcoming for the most part only ever had one uncomfortable experience with a veterinarian. Other then that the staff and other veterinarians are very kind and very informative. They truly love these animals who are all anxious, nervous and scared to be there.

I had an appointment on Friday to get my cat spayed. I showed up and they told me someone had called me on Thursday and cancelled my appointment because the vet had an emergency. That was a lie. Then I show up on Monday to get her spayed and they're telling me she needs 2 more rounds of shots. So all together she would've had FOUR rounds of boosters. Absolute waste of my time. The vet also called me to try to tell me why 4 rounds of boosters were needed AFTER one of the receptionists hung up in my ear. BEWARE OF THIS VET IF YOU HAVE A KITTEN. They 100% try to rip people off. The thing is i brought my other 2 cats here NO PROBLEMS untilllll I brought in a kitten. Waste of my time. I would NOT recommend the FEMALE VET and her whole team of minions. Cheap vet but honestly it wasn't worth the time or money.

Jelena Stojanovic

The vet was very nice I have to say I don't recall a bad experience with them ever that's 15 years

Ranjith Ramesh

Got my puppy spayed here. No complaints at all! They sent me to their branch at Bellamy and lawrence. Very clean, friendly staff. My pup was puking after the surgery and they assured me that is was normal for the first 12 hours after surgery. Price wise they are very affordable, we spent close to $400 which is way lesser than the $800+ bills vets charge around downtown.

I previously left a 5 star review but have since removed it. I visited with my dog who has a uti after one round of antibiotics she still had it so we did a urine test and blood test and received another round of the same antibiotic and prescribed food, i was hesitate to purchase the same antibiotic as the first time it didn't help and made it worse, I spoke with a vet on hand who talked over me and my concerns and basically forced me to buy it when i usually speak with mary but she wasnt in on the day of. Now that the second round of the same antibiotic is done my dog still has the same symptoms as I have brought up before purchasing I knew this antibiotic wouldn't work. Between my two dogs ive spent 4k here in the span of a month. Initially I was trusting and felt like my dogs were in good hands but this is the third visit i'll have with the same issue that im constantly paying exam fees and medication and testing for. I was told the next steps are a urine culture along with xrays (350+400 for 3 panels). Ultimately i decided on getting a second opinion from a vet all my friends go to that I initially refused to see because I thought they were expensive (they're in a better location, has better customer service and isn't in a run down plaza). They quoted me much less for the two services. I was going out of my way to come to brimley lawrence because its cheap but it really isn't. its on par with any other vet closer to me if not more, since ive made so many visits i basically spent the same amount. Mary is still wonderful to deal with but it seems for everyone else the second you bring up concerns or questions they immediately become rude and defensive... at the end of the day Im a paying customer especially to the tune of 4000 in a month I expect some sort or friendliness or customer service or at least be heard out if I have concerns about what is being prescribed. Alot of people say if you dont care about customer service and only about pricing go here but i now beg to differ, its not really cheap at all. Edit: if you search for reviews that share the common words “second opinion” you’ll find other stories similar to mine, where their quote is so outrageous

We have tried a number of vets throughout the city. Brimley-Lawrence has always provided excellent, friendly and caring service for our pets. The COVID situation has certainly caused some difficulties in terms of scheduling and I think they likely had some hiccups to overcome in 2020 and 2021, but everything seems to be streamlined now.

DMC Strength

Eesch....it was pretty rough. We ended up waiting for over an hour leaving the entire experience extremely unpleasant. The staff we interacted with were kind, so no complaints their. That being said, we did chat with others that were waiting as well and one in particular had difficulties with one of their vets (she might be student), but she was quite rude to someone who was already 2hrs deep in waiting.

Been going here for years they saved my kittys life few years ago and ive been taking all my pets since . Great vets

Sharon Boyce

Unbelievably horrible. If you only are looking for a cheap vet this clinic is the right one. As far as respect for animals NO. As far as compassion for animals NO. As far as good quality care NO. As far as experience and knowledge NO. It is their lack of empathy and caring even with the owners. This clinic is all about making a fast dollar and not really helping animals. The staff are miserable but just seemed to tolerate the animals to make money.. the veterinarians please? don't care at all. If you have them do tests good luck getting them to do anything about any findings or if they send you to the hospital they won't send any paper work. I know how expensive vet care is but please take care in picking out a good caring vet your pet is worth it.

I went today to vaccinate my dog. I lost my job and my usual vet, with no reason, increased the price of vaccination a lot: Speculation! I was very nervous after reading the reviews. I called from outside when i arrived they told me to hold . I waited a couple of minutes, then the lady told me to wait in the car she would call me back to allow me in. After 7 minutes they called me in. Palak, the assistant, checked my vaccination for Covid then she allowed me in the room. I asked for doctor Mary, as i red the reviews. Doctor Mary was very nice, she explained me everything about the vaccinations for my dog, checked my dog. Then Shivani, other assistant, came in I paid and I left. Every one has been professional, helpful, with a genuine smile. At Brimley maybe they do not give treats, in the corners of the room there are some dark lines but the price is honest and service efficient so far. The schedule has been respected. I got a better service of the my previous vets. I had always to wait, no matter if you had an appointment. I have been with my previous vet for many years. He increased the price a lot with no reason. There is no shortage of vaccines. When I told him I can not afford the new costs his kindness disappeared. I prefer to have less false and hypocrite smiles and more efficiency. I can only say that at Brimley I got a good service that was no different at all from the more expensive vets I used to go. I do not know about future. But so far it has been good. As I said no difference from previous expensive vets. Thanks Brimley Animal Clinic for being there for our pets at a reasonable price. If i could give 0 I would. This clinic doesn't care about animals. They care only if you have vaccine passport. The woman working there is not even vaccinated herself. They let you stand outside like a dog. They are not professional and discriminating people . Stay away

Cheryl Migus-Smarr

We loved it the staff is friendly and truly cares about the animals. I love it they treat our puppy Bella.

This was my vet a long time ago and I recently returned to put my sweet boy, Rocky down. They were able to locate his file after almost 10 years. The people answering the phone were always polite, respectful and informative. You can tell they really care. Once I got there with Rocky I was greeted and taken care of by the lab tech, Danielle who is kind, caring and informative as well. We then met the Vet, Mary who was amazing and supportive through the experience. Her kind words were exactly what I needed to hear at that moment. The team at the Brimley-Lawrence animal clinic exceeded my expectation. I trust them completely and am so thankful to be moving back to the area because I now can't imagine taking my second cat to another clinic. Thank you Brimley-Lawrence team for everything you have done!

Miriam Lazarus

On cold days they kept us standing outside last time I had to stay outside because they didnt allow me to wait inside because of covid protocol I told them I'm on a wheelchair the waiting room was empty It wasn't crowded I told them I'm fully vaccinated today was a really bad weather my dogs fur was turning white with the freezer on the phone they said yes we can come in and when we got there they said no my mom went in the female doctor said we can't do anything we have to wait our turn so we cancel and came home staff are very rude other people agree with me when I Tell them that this is how you'll treated us.

Alex Niculae

Have been going here for years. What I like about it is that you get the same great care as any other vet but without getting ripped off. Their prices are very fair and reasonable. I hope this place doesn't change.

Karen Robinson

Excellent experience for my cat (Cloe) and myself. Efficient, caring and great medical care. Have been going there for 10 years and would not change veterinarians.

This was the 1st and last time I will take my puppy to this vet. Horrible service. So much upselling for tests. And relying on fear tactics to upsell further. My puppy had pink eye and gave it to my sister's dog. My sister ended up going to another emergency care clinic and paid $160 for the eye drops and the "emergency fee". I ended up paying the same amount here for a regular appointment. My appointment was for 12:30 and I had to wait till 1 pm to get inside- which I was okay with; maybe they were busy. I tell the vet that my puppy gave this infection to my other family dog and told him the eye drops that were prescribed. His response... sorry I cannot prescribe anything without doing two $30 tests. He said he'd have to check for cornea tears and so on. I felt like they were relying on fear tactics to ensure I paid. And the cherry on top, before giving the medication, the vet insisted we get a cone (which I would have to buy from the clinic). This vet tried to intimidate me by telling me that my puppy would tear her eye if she scratched, even though I repeated tried to explain that she has had the infection for days now and hasn't scratched her eyes at all, just a bunch of mucus. The vet was visibly angry that I didn't buy the cone. I ended up paying the same amount as the emergency vet my sister took her dog to!
