Way under qualified, did not have any medication my dog needed when it was an emergency procedure and was gonna wait 3 days before she gets the medication he needed so instead of suggesting I take him to a different vet so he had a chance of survival she said it didn’t matter. I called a different vet and they said he needed the meds immediately so when I called back to tell her I was gonna bring him to northbay she was very bitter and wouldn’t meet me right away so I could rush him to a different hospital I had to wait and when she finally got there it took 30 minutes to get my dog when I was clearly in a hurry she then tried to charge me $75 just to write down on a piece of paper what meds she gave my dog so the other vet would know so i asked her just tell me and I’ll remember it was only 3 things that she gave him 500 ml of fluid over night lrs, aniprsoal pill this morning and sucralfate this morning 10cc and she was gonna charge me $75 just to write that down and when I looked in the back room to see where she had my dog their was a dresser on wheels pushed up infront of his cage so he couldn’t see,
So to go over everything I rushed my dog there at 12:00am so he could get immediate attention she didn’t seem worried at all when I got there and didn’t give him activated charcoal to help get the toxin out of him when if you research it says give them it every 6-8 hours and it was only 6.5 - 7 hours after he ingested the poison so I left with her over night and Im up all night researching and researching what to do and I’m calling multiple places for advice and I find out all she gave him was heart burn medication from Walmart the next day and sulcrafate the next day as well and only gave him lrs fluids the night I brought him and said she didn’t have any of the meds that were recommended by 7 different places immediately she said she can order them in on Monday and they’ll be here Tuesday when this was on Friday night. Please go somewhere els if you have an emergency I will never go there again for anything
