Alway dealt with Nor-Ont and will never change , even when I moved to another Town nearby where there's a Veterinary Hospital on every major street I still take the drive to go to Nor-ont the staff is super friendly and the Vet is very clear and straight to the point and the has never been any hidden cost

Yesterday, I decided to call the emergency number for, well, an emergency concerning my cat. I got a call from this place, and the woman was very rude with me, and did not have enough patience to calmly explain to me where the clinic was located (seeing as I am not originally from Sudbury). Based off of this experience, seeing as I was already panicked enough trying to get medical attention for my cat, I do not recommend this place to anyone, unless bad customer service is what you are looking for in a time of need.

Building looks like it needs some TLC but don’t let that deter you from their services! The staff were incredible with both my 12 week old puppy and myself. The vet is very kind and great with the animals. She answered all the questions I had confidently - would definitely recommend!

These people are amazing. My dog had surgery on his ear for a hematoma (blood clot). Off course, we phoned a few hospitals but Nor-Ont provided the lowest price. We had already been going to them for some time. They did a great job, and charged very well, especially since it was an expensive type of surgery and it was difficult to pay. I recommend them because they care about your pet, not only the money. They love animals. Try it out, I think you will be pleased. They're in Chelmsford. Thanks a bunch Nor Ont!

Always a good experience going here. My dog is normally afraid of vets and shakes but he doesn't with this vet, she's great! Staff is always super nice and the dogs hanging out in the waiting room are so cute!

Staff is amazing. They treated me like gold. They made me feel comfortable while I went through the unfortunately xray results for my dog and later in the week when I had to put her down. The one lady gave me salted caramel chocolate on my way out of the door, which was tasty and very kind of her! The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star is because it could use some upgrading in the rooms you go in with your pet. If I could give 4.5 star, I would be. The partial shutter doors aren't very comforting when being told unfortunate news, might as well have no door. When you're sobbing and need a minute, it's hard to concentrate or get it together when you can here people coming in and out from the main lobby. Besides that, it was a good experience because of the staff. The actual vet, said the most kind words before I said goodbye to my Bella. It most certainly helped me feel much better about my decision.

The visit was short and extremely unsatisfactory. I had a question about my dog who had recently had puppies, and rather than answering my question the vet shamed me and said she should have already been spayed and never had puppies. Then left the room when I said I needed a question answered, not an opinion. An opinion which I feel is incredibly WRONG as my pup is an amazing mama and her puppies are all healthy and bringing joy to their owners and the world.

The staff seemed nice , but the vet like angry scream/yelled at my puppy today grabbing him by his color right in his ear because he was trying to move around and crying while she was examing him. Not impressed at all. Very unprofessional !

Veterinarian is rude and condescending upon questioning decisions. No clinical research/information to backup her rationale. Told “I charge what I want to keep my business running” when asked for a script for a basic antibiotic for my dog (after spending $600 on one visit a week prior). I had reminded her about last weeks visit and what I had just paid; her remark was “I did not charge you to send out the blood work” even though she clearly did, PLUS I paid a $23.10 purolator fee). Ignorant and uninformed. Will educate friends and coworkers (largest employer) on this ridiculous, gouging “business”.

If I could give Nor-Ont Veterinary Hospital 10 stars I would. Even though they were fully booked for the day AND had an emergency surgery to cover, they got my 13-week old puppy in ASAP for emergency exploratory surgery, leading to them having to work overtime. As a new pet owner, I was very nervous but the staff at Nor-Ont kept me calm. Dr. McKeegan and her team are truly a blessing and I could not be any more thankful for their hard work and knowledge.

My puppy was hit by a vehicle on a Monday and Nor-Ont was the emergency clinic at the time. Upon arrival they gave her a few pets, checked her over and concluded it was a broken jaw. They sent us home with no pain relief, even though her surgery wasn't for 2 days after. The next day I had to call my vet once they opened to ask for pain management. My vet was very concerned over this and called Nor-ont themselves and the vet lied and said they gave her a shot of pain meds (my husband was holding her the whole time in the waiting room and never left my dogs side) which, even if was true, still doesn't cover us for the remainder of the time until her surgery on Wednesday. We also found out the Vet at Nor-Ont was supposed to provide the surgeon doing our pups surgery with xrays which never happened, now we are adding hundreds more to our bill because these are things the surgeon has to do now. I am most definitely taking up a complaint with the CVO over this very unethical treatment of our injured pup.

Dr.McKeegan and her staff are so passionate at what they do. Our dog was in and out of vet appointments and emergency vet for a week. Our last emergency call was at 1:00 am in the morning.Dr.McKeegan was the vet doctor on call. It was a blessing for us that she was on that weekend. Because of her experience and vast knowledge, within five minutes she diagnosed our dog and perform emergency surgery. Someone was looking out for us by leaving our dog in the hands of Dr.McKeegan. She had our dog all weekend long and took care of her like it was one of her own, slowly nursing her back to health. She is truly a "Dog Whisper" and was able to give our dog a second chance at life. Our family is very greatful for everyone at Nor Ont Veterinary Hospital.

I called to make an appt... they said i needed to call emergency vet... i called emergency vet they wanted 279 just to make an appt... i am not paying that... so i called nor ont to see if i can make an appt for next week on an available time... they did not want to, kept insisting on emergency call... so i asked when they were the emergency vet they said Wednesday... so i said to make an appt for Wednesday, they told me it would cost 279 because they had no available appts before... so i got my mom to call, to make an appt for my dog they said they can take him monday... completely unprofessional... i had them for all my dogs... i will no longer use them

Dr. McKeegan is wonderful! Very honest about expectations rather then ordering unnecessary testing. I have been bringing my pets there for years and have always left feeling confident in the care! Sadly we brought our dog in this week and was advised it was time he go to doggy heaven. While this is an extremely difficult thing to hear; Dr. McKeegan took time to explain the process and allow us time to say our goodbyes. I was dreading this day and am so thankful to receive such amazing patience and care for our fur baby. Thank you to ALL staff for always being welcoming and caring during such tough times!

While I appreciate that vets have had it hard through COVID, I found this visit incredibly unprofessional. The vet was surprised that my pup wasn't fully compliant after she had taken her temperature rectally (interaction, greeting, sniff, etc.) When my dog climbed on to me out of fear, the dog pulled her by the tail back onto the table. There was very limited time spent with my dog and not much empathy or care shown. I also recognize that this one vet's behaviour should not reflect on the entire practice.
