Zugz has his very first vet appointment today! He got a nail trim and a little exam! The vets at Lasalle Animal Clinic in Sudbury are fantastic! They even gave us a little report card to tell me how he did. He’s perfectly healthy! He’s at a healthy weight, with great sounding heart and lungs, his teeth and nails are a little long but they gave me great advice on how to deal with it. They also said he was a delight to handle! Very well socialized and even wrote “very sweet hamster” on his report card! Extra treats for my boy and a very proud mama moment for me ????.

This vet needs to watch what she says in the public media. He opinions are out dated and she has obviously not had any formal training in animal nutrition nor done any ethical research on the topic. She is a political pawn and obviously does not have her patients interests in mind. I would not recommend this vet if you want someone who stays current with modern veterinary trends.

Best vet for your exotic pets. I took my fish in to be checked for parasites and the staff were accommodating to my pets needs. The doctor that I saw was pleasant and a joy to talk with. She took the time to explain in detail about what I was dealing with and after providing the medication needed, helped me to learn the correct way to dose them. When I didn't understand something the staff were courteous and explained what I needed to know with patience and understanding. Highly grateful for how they saved all my fish, just wish I had gone sooner than more most likely would've survived.

Dr. Janice is the sweetest and most caring vet~~because of meeting her I was blessed to have My Heart and Soul Mate Buttercup for just over five years~~without Dr. Janice Buttercup would have said goodbye at a year and a half~~Buttercup was a paraplegic due to a weasel severing her spine and because of the GREAT care she took of Buttercup we were blessed to have some wonderful time together~~I highly recommend Dr. Janice and her staff~~also Dr. Pichard although not my vet was so amazingly kind and helpful when Dr. Janice wasn't there~~love these people

From the very beginning Yo the end of my visit, we were well greeted and felt right at home. Everyone was courteous and friendly. They were amazing. Very kind and informative. We had to take our dog in as an emergency and we got in the same day and they gave us meds and everything for his pain in his leg (possible ligament tear) and I just went in today to get him checked again to see if he needed surgery and he doesn’t! But to take it easy for a while. They were honestly amazing and so kind I recommend them All the way!

Its been more than 5 years ive been going to this Animal Clinic and we never had a bad experience. I read people put comments that some vet are cheaper than this one. You get what you pay for. I have only been with them a short time now but they are very good at answering any and all questions I had. I was able to get appointments for my 2 kittens very quickly. During my one kitty's visit the vet contacted me with some concerns with we were able to workout a solution that was best for the kitten and my pocket book. Very good service and wonderful staff!!!!

My fiancé and I drove from Timmins, ON with our baby rabbit when we noticed she was having what looked to be respiratory issues after JUST adopting her. Dr. Vannevel and her team were so wonderful in taking care of our little girl and walking us through what will be a lifetime chronic illness for her. They are professional, kind, and courteous. They always make room for us because we come from such a distance, and work with us every step of the way considering we are so far away. Love them at LaSalle Animal Clinic and would highly recommend to anyone!

They do small animal care, which is why I brought my pets here (a cat and a hamster). The charges for check ups aren't too bad either, from what I can tell. However they do heavily push Royal Canin and Science Diet pet food, when I've done my research and am feeding my cat another brand.

I love LaSalle Animal Clinic the vets treat your pets as if they were their own they are friendly, helpful, compassionate and just awesome The receptionists are very friendly and helpful whenever I call with questions I had a disabled bunny Chilli and they gave her the best care I've taken my dogs there one had their teeth removed and I would call to check on him and they never acted like I was bothering them I had 2 bunnies spayed and the first time my bun was spayed I was so worried that she wasn't eating or using the bathroom and Dr.Derek called around 10 pm and answered all questions I had and was super helpful in alleviating my fears I would recommend Lasalle Animal Clinic to everyone I know who has pets they are fantastic

This clinic has taken care of my family pets for a number of years. They are knowledgeable compassionate and caring. They always have time to answer questions and follow up on any concerns that I have brought to their attention. My new dog Lola loves going there and she is always excited to see whoever she can get attention. I just wish they were more equipped to taken on my family’s animals but I understand they are fully booked all the time and I know that when they have a spot available they will call so I can get my new grand puppy in as a new patient. I was at another facility for a very long time and switched over to Dr. Vannevel's clinic and I am so happy I did! We cannot begin to thank Dr. Vanevel and her staff enough for their responsive care last week. Our dog was choking on a bone, and we arrived in a panic to the Lasalle Animal clinic minutes before they were closing. They took our beloved pet in immediately and did what they needed to to dislodge the bone and saved his life as he was “blue” by the time we arrived. We cannot begin to express our gratitude for this, and all care received over the years.

Had a great first visit! Recently relocated back to Sudbury, so had to find a local vet. They were so personable and friendly! The vet tech even gave my dog a squeaky Kong ball to play with while we waited in the exam room and of course gave him lots of love. They distracted him with treats and were so gentle and kind during his check up and updated his shots. The vet was friendly and knowledgeable. Happy to be a new patient ☺️

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I am beyond grateful that my puppy's neutering appointment is not until June and we can cancel it and make the appointment at a different animal clinic. I took my puppy here to get all his shots which went perfectly fine. Today, he wasn't feeling the greatest and was throwing up, I called and asked if I could bring him in to get him looked at and Paula said that that was no problem at all. After 20 minutes my dog seemed to be better so I called her back and said I was going to monitor him and if he continues to throw up I will call back. She told me that wasn't a problem at all, she told me what I should specifically monitor. She then told me to keep in mind that the next two days there was no doctor in so it would have to be today if I brought him in. I asked what time they closed, she told me 5 and then the phone call ended. After about an hour my dog threw up again so I called to tell her that I would be coming and asked her what was a good time to come. She then told me that I couldn't come today and that she already told me that... and that I would have to go somewhere else to get my dog looked at and pay the emergency fee ($200 - JUST TO GET IN TO SEE THE DOCTOR) - which she told me that they don't charge for their clients. She was DISGUSTINGLY rude and showed ZERO remorse. She never once told me that I would not be able to go there today. Not once did she say "I'm sorry for the miscommunication" or "I hope everything works out". Nothing. You would think she would treat a customer with a little more respect considering she is a receptionist and ESPECIALLY because I am a client at the clinic and have spent hundreds of dollars here. There goes my business to this horrible company.

I've been here three times so far and each time I've left feeling good about the care my animals received and how nice and caring the staff are. Our first visit was really tough because our hamster, Princess Pudge, was so sick and we decided to put her to sleep. Staff were very understanding and they gave my husband and I privacy and time to discuss things. When I left I noticed that they had a little tea candle going at the front desk with a sign asking people to be quiet and respectful because 'someone is saying goodbye to their beloved pet'. That really meant a lot to us, still makes me tear up a bit just thinking about it. They also gave us a card with Pudgy's tiny paw prints in it, which we now have in her memory box. Very compassionate, friendly, good people there and I really trust them to care for my rodent babies. ☺️

I've had my rabbits for 12 years and it's all possible to the Amazing staff and service that this vet provides. When emergencies have arisen, they were there for us, making sure they had the best care, and that the bunnies wouldn't have to wait too long. Without Dr Vannevel and now Dr Laporte, and the amazing vet techs and front desk staff, my rabbits wouldn't be living their best life well into their old age. I can't ever thank them enough for everything they've done and continue to do.
