I thought my dog was having a stroke, and the staff at Coventry Animal Hospital were able to get us in and they were knowledgable, caring, professional and were able to get my baby girl back on the road to recovery. Then I went back to pay my bill and the staff at the front were very kind and understanding. Would recommend this company to anyone.

We had a dog for 15 years who was always cared for extremely well and kindly by Coventry Animal Hospital. Everyone there was always able to take any time needed to answer whatever questions we had. They made us feel that our dog mattered very much to them. When her life ended they were very supportive. We have now adopted another dog and the care given in her visit was as wonderful as everything we had experienced before

As a new resident to the area I wasnt sure which vet to pick but coventry Avs an excellent choice imo. I bought a new puppy and was able to get him in the next day. The staff is very helpful and informative. I had a very comfortable feeling from the moment I walked in they didnt try to push anything on me they explained how they like things to go and listened to my concerns and were very thorough in explaining. They offer a great health care package for those that are interested but do not push for it. Brought in a stool sample and had results within a couple hours. Please with my service so far.

It's always difficult to switch vets. When we moved here in March 2020 and our dog needed a vet, Coventry was amazing. I still have not seen our vet's face because of covid but she has all the time in the world to talk to me about our concerns and our dogs health on the phone. When I drop her off and someone comes out to get her I'm confident they treat our dog like she is their own.

Coventry Animal Hospital is the best Veterinary Clinic we have ever used. We brought our dog Jake there for all 13 years of his life, and he was given wonderful care by Dr. Angela Guerretsen and her staff. Now we are bringing our new puppy Brady to Coventry, and again we are impressed by the compassionate care from every staff member we meet. Highly recommended.

Went to book a first appointment with them. They stated because I had seen two other veterinarians in the Stratford area in the past 6 years that this was a "red flag." Therefore, they were not interested in my business. Why is it taboo among vets to get a second opinion?

It's difficult to find a good vet that you feel comfortable with and can trust. And I had been searching for a while. I am so happy that I found a whole team of people that I trust at Coventry Animal Hospital. Wilbur, my cat, just had a huge dental extraction done and Doctor Sharkie was honest, patient and very upfront with the costs and risks involved with the procedure. She answered all my questions and I never felt rushed or pressured to do anything. I felt like the whole team truly cared!

I believe they also only do necessary testing and will always consult you before hand therefore I never feel take off guard by the costs; which makes me feel very comfortable and confident bringing all of our pets to this clinic.

I cannot praise highly enough how caring and thoughtful the staff of this vet hospital were when my cat was sick and there was nothing to be done. It was heartbreaking and they were so kind, from breaking the news, explaining what would be done, comforting me as I sobbed my heart out, and suggesting I leave by the side door and come back and pay in a week or two when I felt better. Within a few days I received a lovely letter of condolence signed by everybody, a poem about animal friendship, and a note that a donation it been made to a shelter in my moggie's honour. I felt like I mattered and that the life of my cat mattered. They went above and beyond. I still have one cat and we continue to go to Coventry where we feel like family.

I adopted a kitten and brought them to their first vet appointment with Coventry during the lockdown. I was surprised by how smooth the appointment went given all the restrictions. They had a great set up and were still able to answer all my questions on the phone while my little kitty was getting his check-up and vaccines.

I’ve been taking my boy Sampson to Coventry for years. He just about pulls me over trying to get into the visiting every time we go; he loves it there! All of the staff are friendly and welcoming and I genuinely care about animals (and their owners!). A few years ago we had a bad scare and Sampson had to be kept over night for observation and given IV fluids. The Veterinarian was so kind and sensitive during this time and I felt much better knowing Sampson was in such great hands. Dr. Sharkey is the Doctor we have been seeing for the past few years and she’s just wonderful. I have nothinf but great things to say!

Both of our boys love going to the vet here. The staff are all very friendly and have never once, in our almost 4 years at this vet, made us feel anything other than extremely welcome. They remember us and our pups by name and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet office.

I can't recommend this office enough! I recently adopted a dog that was rescued from China's meat trade who arrived with a clean bill of health, but had a cracked tooth that was becoming infected. I called on a Saturday to make an appointment and we were able to get in 2 days later (booking an appointment that soon is unheard of with most offices). Dr. Cruz was incredibly helpful, patient and genuinely wanted to help fix the issue. We booked surgery for 3 days after the initial appointment (again, unheard of to get in so soon) and every single staff member I interacted with either in-person or over the phone was beyond helpful and friendly and willing to help. I live 40mins outside of Stratford but I'm keeping Coventry Animal Hospital as Gryffin's permanent vet office - the drive is beyond worth it for the kind of care this team provides. I had previously booked with a closer vet office to me but they lacked all things Coventry has, as mentioned above. It was a night and day difference. I really can't recommend them enough to anyone who's looking for a new vet!!

I have been waiting months for a call back from Glenn Armstrong. HI dog lovers do not take your dog to this clinic to get there teeth pulled my bulldog was not the same after the operation so I took her to a vet in Guelph and she said the teeth should have been cleaned not pulled an to enjoy our time with her an now my beloved English bulldog Rosie is gone. HI I am back vet Sharkey was not qualified to pull teeth from a bulldog she should have sent me to a vet that knows more about bulldogs an they have given me the run around since. I gave Armstrong months to get back to me for then to say they screwed up or apologize but nothing so do you want to take your pets to this clinic.

Just went there today to have my dog's nails trimmed. And now I feel that I must write a review about our experience. Much, much, much better than I could ever expect. My dog bites everyone trying to even touch its paws, I though we would have to put him to sleep, but it only took them less than 10 minutes to have all nails trimmed, and no one got bitten, nor did my dog too stressed or hurt. He is a happy dog, and he hasn't had a complete trim for soooo long. This is The place I will definitely go if my dog ever needs any help again. And thanks so much to the 3 ladies today, my dog is happy, comfortable and sound asleep right now. You are our heroes.
