They care so much for furbabies & well as the family.... we live in arkansas & drive Springhill .. had to take Dolly last week she was really sick ... Scott you got her acting like a 2 year.old lol.. OMG, Love this place they saved my dog life she needed surgery she had a bladder stone almost the size of a egg and the cost was high but this was the cheapest place but they do excellent work outstanding work they r very compassion about there animals they r not n it just for the money.They made me feel at home and they even worked out a payment plan when my own vet wouldn't so this is where my dog go now.Oh they even allowed to work out a payment with me when my own vet that I been dealing with wanted all the money upfront..And they even called to update me!!!!!!Wish it was here in Shreveport...

Now that I have moved to north Louisiana I had to find a vet for my dog. Found it. She got her annual shots, including a 12 month heartworm treatment, and it all took less than 30 minutes. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of. The office folks were polite and helpful. The veterinarian and assistants were knowledgeable and efficient. Overall a pleasant experience for me. My dog doesn't like new places with new people so we will be making a few dry runs here to familiarize her to make it less stressful for her.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. All of the veterinarians I have dealt with are very caring and knowledgeable. They will actually spend plenty of time in the room with you talking with you and answering any questions. It is best to make an appointment, but they are awesome about seeing you if you have an emergency come up. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

The doctors warned us that our dog was quite ill. We left her for fluids and medication adjustment. Later that evening she suffered a massive heart attack. These guys were so very compassionate and respectful. We are heartbroken over the loss. Mcmahen's will always be our choice of vet care.
