Me and my dog buddy love it there, staff is amazing and make your pets feel right at home
The staff is amazing. They are understanding and compassionate about your animals needs. Highly recommend bringing your fur babies here.
Took our new kitten for treatment of diarea. They served us in our car due to Covid. Gave the kitty some pills for worms and stomach bacteria. They were really caring and nice.
I would rate this place with ten stars out of five if I could. I wish my doctors were this courteous. Very nice staff and they treated thomas with the utmost respect. This is where I will be going from now on when my animals are feeling down.
Excellent customer service
They were very helpful and was able to provide some help with my boys ouchie.
They are awesome with my dogs, Ozzy and Hedley, now that Ozzy is maturing, his health is not the best, so many trips to vets, they are awesome, went elsewhere once, now I have no cat, she was only 2 yrs. old :( looking for another, but hard to find one that will help to fill her spot in our family, Bless the vets here for always doing such a great job and for always being so accomodating :)
I love this vet! They go above and beyond to make sure my lab is calm and relaxed. She usually gets quite upset going to the vets but not here. They listen to my concerns and answer all my questions. I recommend them to all my friends.
I found this clinic to very good. The staff and vets were always compassionate and caring. The only reason I moved onto another vet was that I found them pretty pricey but since the pandemic they are on par with other vets. Unfortunately it costs a lot to maintain your pets health.
Very professional staff and super nice to deal with, very good covid protocols in place for everyone safety. I like when you can tell the staff are all animal lovers they are very gentle and nice with the animals. I had to wait in an adjoining office due to space constraints in the exam room but everything was explained to me through a window linking the rooms together, they made sure I was involved in the process. Don't dress too warm the room does get a little warm and make sure to bring a medical mask Not a cloth one . I was very impressed overall and will definitely be back.
Although listed this vet does not accept exotic animals as listed on their site and google business services - they have renamed this area to "pocket pets" apperently and Instead of listening to me or trying to help me find a vet for my bun. The woman argues about what a "pocket pet" was. Only cats and dogs great, just update your site so when someone is in a but of an emergency to find a new vet they won't waste their time calling you....
Very friendly staff
Just love everyone who works here. They are the most caring people and they truly care about your animals
Very caring staff. They always follow up to see how your friend is doing. Wonderful
Rude... Never have I felt so angry in my life. I found a kitten that was hit by a car in the side of the road alive so I called and brought it in. The owner of the practice was not in so the vet I was speaking with called her to see what they could do. The cat needed it's arm amputated. The owner of the practice said I had to pay for a x-ray and surrender fee. When I said I didn't have the funds to do so as I was being a caring human being and didn't want the cat to suffer she told the vet that was in to make it clear I was to never come.back there again because she normally doesn't do charity cases. What the heck are you even doing owing a practice then? The vet and techs when I was there were so nice but the owner is DISGUSTING and heartless. How dare you make me feel like a bad person for being compassionate for a living animal. Why should I be threatened to never come back ever again because I did the humane thing? You're vets and techs should be given raises to have to deal with her!! So disappointed with this experience... Update: the owner could have avoided all this by simply calling the humane society and they would have taken in the kitten and dealt with the situation there so for her to disrespect people that way was by her choice.
Very friendly staff
This is a great place to take your pet. People here and doctors go out of their way to get results for your sick pet I personally like it here.
Love these guys
Thankful to have such caring people at the clinic to help us make sure our 3 dogs and 4 cats get the best medical care around. Our 2 newest family members think they are pretty cool too.
Nice people here just very pricey
They were amazing with my scaredy cat and managed to keep her relatively calm and no one was injured (my cat is vicious at vets)
Very nice people. Very clean. Very knowledgeable. And if you need to get in quick they always get you in
Great staff and care
I have been taking my fur babies here for over 30 years. Great staff. Always have your pets health in great care. Compassionate and caring. Thanks Simcoe Animal Hospital.????❤
Simcoe Animal Hospital's staff was amazing with are three cats Zoe, BW, & Tiger . They took good care of them when we come for are yearly check up. Thanks to Dr Tracey and staff thanks
I have been a client of Simcoe Animal Hospital off and on for 35 years. I have always had the utmost confidence in their skills with regards to my pets' needs. I adopted my cat from them 5 years ago. She was semi-feral. They never hesitated in guiding me when I needed advice on how to handle her. I highly recommend them.
Outstanding, friendly and knowledgeable staff. On the pricier side but we feel it is worth it for the level of service.
Fantastic clinic! Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff! Have been going there for 10+ years with absolutely no issues! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet!!
My dogs have been long term clients. They are well cared for and the office is efficient and responsive.
Always friendly and awesome with my crew!
The Staff are amazing
They are amazing with the animals and show great compassion when needed
Perhaps the kindest Animal Hospital and staff I have ever had to visit. Thank you for everything!
They helped us even though they were about to close, and we had been turned away by two other vet clinics that were too busy. Dr Gardiner went above and beyond. Very nice and showed concern. Thank you so much!
Took my moms cat here. The staff were friendly, kind and gentle with her cat.
Everyone we dealt with was so kind and compassionate. It was so much appreciated.
just cannot say enough about how impressed we are with The Simcoe Animal Hospital. We have 3 Golden retreivers & have just recently changed vet clinics after 12 years. Our middle & our youngest have had health problems the past few weeks & the care & the attentiveness that we have received has been just outstanding!! The staff that we have met are very professional & kind. Dr Tracy is very caring & listens to our questions & concerns. I truly would recommend this clinic to everyone!
They did a great job with our Kitty - thank you!
The doctors and staff are great with our dog and very patient with our cat that doesn't much care for her visits. I don't hesitate to board Zeus there when we are away because I know he will be well taken care of.
The people here are so compassionate and professional
The girls are awesome, you don't have to wait long.
Very nice examination of my pup today. Good clear explanation of why he is unable to use his one back leg and how to give medication.
Very knowledgeable & pleasant staff.
Pet friendly and people friendly
The staff there are very compassionate and friendly. They make myself and my dog feel at ease every visit. They accommodate emergency visits quickly.
Friendly staff, great service. Couldn’t ask for a better place to look after our pet. ????
Amazing and compassionate doctors and staff especially Dr Tracey and Tracy Gilbert!!!
Our cat was becoming more lethargic, and constantly throwing up food. We took him to this vet and they touched his stomach and said it was a food allergy. Eventually he kept getting worse after changing food so we took him to queensway. They tested his blood and found an extremely low blood count and he had worms. His blood count was so low, if the medication they gave us doesn't bring it back up, we have to get a blood transfusion for him. I blame this vet for their negligence in the diagnosis process as we could have more time to figure out what is wrong and start with the healing. I definitely wouldn't reccomend them.
All staff at The Simcoe Animal Hospital are top notch. We have a very large Golden Retriever named Sawyer. Sawyer is a giant baby but he has a lot of strength and they know just how to handle this big guy. Thanks a bunch
Great care, reasonable prices
Great service, very caring staff
Wonderful place!
Simcoe Animal Hospital is an amazing veterinary clinic. The friendliness and service from Dr. Tracey and her team is second to none. They are always ready to listen to any concerns you may have and answer all your questions. My cats are not the best at going to the vets but the staff manage to put both them and me at our ease. During the appointment everything is explained fully as is any treatment and/or medications that are required. I highly recommend Simcoe Animal Hospital, whether your pets are sick or just in need of their annual check-ups and shots. I go there and I wouldn't want anything but the best for my furrbabies.
The kindest staff, so happy I made the switch to Simcoe Animal Hospital, Bella loved it ❤️
Awesome vets and staff, very helpful and caring.
They always take great care of my animals and fully explain any information I need to be aware of to make an informed decision. This has on occasion required a longer than normal visit and we have never felt rushed. Facilities are clean, staff is always friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet that will care as much about your fur-baby as you do.
Excellent vetarinarycare from all staff who really care about the pets (family) in need.
From the time you walk in the door, you and your pet are made feel welcome. Simcoe Animal Hospital have been providing care to our two Rotties Taz and Ozzy, and our cat Sammy for over five years. It does not matter if it is their annual check up or one of life’s little (or sometimes big) illnesses or injures they take to the time to make our pets feel safe and secure, this means a lot to a frightened or nervous pet. The team is knowledgeable and makes sure that they take the time to answer all questions. Our cat has diabetes, we were helped through every step of the process so that we could give an injection and got him the proper diet, he is now in remission and feeling great. Taz recently required hospitalization and Dr. Tracey followed up with us the day he came home to answer and questions. Our three boys have also visited for the day when we were doing renovations and they received phenomenal care. Thank you to the Dr. Tracey and her TEAM. I would highly recommend Simcoe Animal Hospital.
Clean place and friendly staff. They gave me a follow-up call to check if my cat was feeling better.
Great people, knowledgeable staff
I have known Dr. Gardiner and the wonderful staff at Simcoe Animal Hospital for almost 10 years now. They always go above and beyond for their patients. I have read all of the reviews and it is great to see so many other positive ones (as I suspected I would). However, I do have to say that I am slightly disheartened with some of the negative comments that have been made. First, selling products, prescriptions and services to non clients or even to clients that have not been into a clinic within a certain amount of time can cost a veterinarian their license. WHY in the world would any vet want to take that chance? Second, I show and breed Persians AND I am an active member of a cat rescue. We have hundreds and hundreds of cats and kittens coming in annually at the cat rescue. I get it and yes, it can be frustrating having to pay for treatment on an animal that isn't even our own. We do it ALL the time at the cat rescue. But lets be honest; veterinarians are not here to provide us with free service. I cannot count how many times we have paid, out of our own pockets, to save animals. Veterinarians have paid a great deal of their own money for schooling, clinic costs, hydro, electricity, equipment, supplies, paying vet techs, receptionists and kennel assistants, ETC ETC ETC. If they offered free service to ONE injured cat or dog; they are really inclined to offer the same to ALL because otherwise it wouldn't' be "fair" would it? And, do you realize how many rescues and pet owners would take advantage of this? Veterinarians would never be paid again if they provided free service to every injured, sick or dying animal that came in. That just isn't logical and no veterinarian ANY WHERE would even be able to afford to remain open which we all know would be a tragedy. I remember bringing a racoon into a vet clinic close to my home that had been hit by a car. A RACOON... a WILD ANIMAL that obviously did not belong to anyone except mother nature. And, I still had to pay for that racoon to be euthanized and cremated. Why did I do it? Because I care and realize that saving a life OR ending suffering is more important than buying new clothes for myself, or having my hair done, or getting a manicure. It's called having a conscience and prioritizing. Just something to consider before complaining and bad mouthing hardworking, kind-hearted Veterinarians. Everyone has their limit and it sounds like the owner (IF what you say is even true), was at hers. There are two sides to every story and I can only imagine what the other side looked like in this case. We will likely never know; but I would bet on it that your representation of her is not only false but also uncalled for and cruel. ♥ Keep on being amazing SAH!
I am a breeder that has a puppy from a litter born last evening that is failing and requires tube feeding. I ran out of tubes so I called to ask if they would sell me one because their office is just down the road. First thing she asked me was "do you not have your own vet?" When I told her he was out of town she said that they'd have to contact my vet. I couldn't believe it! Here I am trying to save the life of one of my puppies and they wouldn't help me. NEVER will I ever contact them again. As a footnote, I contacted another local vet and they were more than happy to sell me a tube. The puppy has now had a few feedings and has already shown improvement. So much for caring for the animals!!!
I have been going there for about 20 yr s if not more all of my pet have been well taken care of and the staff are very kind to all animals
Great people. Professional .. caring.. made u feel so comfortable.
Just started taking our German shepherd puppy Samson there. Amazing treatment by the staff. The doctors were amazing also. Very caring with our new baby. After his shots they called to check on him a for a few days after to be sure he was okay. Amazing care in my books. Will continue to go there.
Seem to care a lot about the animals and their caregivers. I even received a few text messages to see how my pet was doing after the appointment.
I love the staff at this place, very friendly and understanding. I have been very happy with service.
