Love this vet so much. Compared their prices to many other vets in the area and they have the best by far. All the staff are extremely nice and are very prompt to respond to my emails. I have brought my chihuahua Pepé here a couple of times now for a check up and to be neutered and they did a phenomenal job. I've never seen a dog so happy about going to the vet. Would definitely recommend this vet to anyone and everyone!

Dr. Jason is very thorough with his examinations. He is fantastic with ruling out before diagnosing and he will take the time to educate the humans with detail. He provides the human with ALL options for medication/testing for your pet and helps weigh out the pros & cons so you can make an informed decision. They are great with follow ups and will even offer advice to save you a trip for another check up. He was so caring and patient with my small animals as well as my dogs. I have been to two other vet clinics before and the doctors don't seem as genuine or knowledgeable. Thanks Malvern Vet Hospital!

I have an 8 year old Yorkie named Mochi, and we've been taking her to this Veterinary Hospital her whole life! We love Dr. Jason and the staff at MVH. They're all super knowledgeable and helpful and very gentle with my dog, as I'm sure they are for all the animals that come to receive care and treatment in their facility. It's always super clean and such a good experience when Mochi and I come to visit. They follow covid protocols and make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. We love MVH!!

Wow Wow wow Is all I can say.. you dont know that you have been missing out on exceptional care till you go see this vet. Dr. Jason is amazing. I went there randomly without an appointment cause i was so worried as my shih tzu was coughing terribly. I had never been there before but it was very close to me and i was in a panic so I rushed to them as I have seen them as i have driven home several times. Even though I didnt have an appointment they still took me in they could tell i was so worried and i just needed help. I was taken in easy filled out new patient paperwork and did not have to wait long at all to see Dr. Jason who managed to squeeze me in between his other appointments. The staff are amazing they were so loving to shaggy.They went out of their way to help me. They treated shaggy so well. Dr. Jason is FANTASTIC i have never in all my years met a veterinarian THAT GOOD. I had been taking my dogs to another clinic and wow what a difference. Dr. Jason did A FULL THOROUGH EXAMINATION of my shaggy. Shaggy is a rescue i have had for 14 years he is old and i have been through a lot of issues with him. Dr. jason adressed them all he did not leave one thing out. Eyes ears cysts coughing and he proceeded to explain to me and actually show me what is happening with shaggy. Sadly shaggy is getting older and he has a lot of issues but dr. jason actually explained everything to me and what issues are treatable what are related to old age. He treated shaggy very well and he made sure that I understood what was happening with my dog. He gave shaggy a cough suppressant that he needed and now we just hope his kennel cough goes away soon. The price was amazing for the service you get. i have NOTHING bad to say and needless to say i will not be going back to my other veterinary clinic ever again. This place is just UNREAL my dogs are my children I only want the best for them this place is the best for them.

The best clinic and staff! I'm a new client and have begun bringing my cats here. Started with a feral rescue Stella whom we spayed and did all of her shots (in proper sequence) and now I've rescued two more kittens from same feral mother as Stella's, and I'm working with the clinic on their care. The Dr is fantastic - he saw the first kitten (Amore Mia), diagnosed and treated her for worms & parasites. Now we will schedule and spay her. Now that I have the brother (whom I've named Lucca), we will treat and neuter him as well. Having feral rescues can be tough but the care and treatment and assistance they have provided has been invaluable and excellent. I respect their professionalism and kindness towards animals. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this clinic.

Horrible place for grooming. Had my puppy groomed there and they smashed his head and split it open in two that required stitches, and then they charged me and blamed me for the puppy jumping. Jumping cannot inflict such a huge laceration that would cause head trauma and stitches. Also a friend of mine took had her dog burnt (probably with a torch). These people are sick! Jason talks a good talk but keeps on talking and would not listen to what you have to say. He's very focused on the money.

This is a super clean and organized place. But what matters the most is that Dr.Jason is also very gentle and caring towards my cat, as well as, really attentive to all of my concerns and questions. Dr. Jason Hsiao is the BEST Veterinary I have ever been to! I've had my Pomeranian for about 5 years and have tried multiple animal clinics and none of them compare to the level of service Dr. Hsiao provides. My dog was recently attacked by a Husky and Dr.Hsiao took his time to hear the story and examined every cm of his body. He is very knowledgeable and also provided me with tips on how to care for him during his recovery. His staff is super friendly and they all demonstrate a genuine love for animals. I will never go to another clinic and will continually recommend Dr.Hsiao over and over again. He is by far the most caring and patient doctor that I have visited! This is my favourite veterinarian I have ever been to, and my best friend worked here for quite a while and LOVED this place, especially working for Dr. Jason Hsaio. She ended up moving farther away and it wasn't attainable for her but she said if she ever gets the chance to go back and work with him she most definitely will. She still drives down to him when it's time for her animals to see him despite being too far to work there. Dr. Jason Hsaio is the most calm caring and gentle vet but also SO knowledgable and HONEST. best veterinarian prices I have seen. Dr Jason is a great choice if you're in the Scarborough area and have pet rats. They are very knowledgable in all things rat related, and my rats always feel comfortable being handled by everyone who sees them when they are at the vet. Dr Jason is extremely gentle with my rats and he has never suggested unnecessary tests / extra expenses, in fact him and his team are always trying to help out with that sort of stuff.

Easily one of the best veterinary hospitals in Scarborough and it shows with their appointment times. You would usually have to set up an appointment around a week to 2 weeks in advance but it is definently worth it. The grooming is great and the groomer knows a great variety of styles and your pet will be comfortable and safe. They always treat your pets with lots of love and more importantly, safety. You'll never be worried leaving your dog, cat or any other pet in their care for a couple hours. Highly recommend this hospital but expect long waits for appointments.

Dr Jason Hsiao is the best vet we have ever met. If you would like to be ripped off by other vet, pls don't choose him. We have leanrt the hard lesson before. Dt Jason is very patient and care about all the animals. He had been our vet for a year now. We have also seen other vet due to some special situation. I have to say. Dr Jason is the BEST!!!! He is the only doctor in this clinic. I am not sure why the comment showing so many other doctors' names. I have to say, we would definitely recommend him to our friends and families!!!! I am also writing a follow up review. Dr Jason and his clinic's service is consistent. He cares about all the dogs. When our dog had a fever and he was on back to back appointment. He even squeezed his lunch time to do a thorough check on our furry baby! He never rushed to any appointment and ensure all the animal get his full attention and care! We really can't ask for more! We have recently left the care of Malvern Vet after taking our large family of rescue cats and dogs there for years. We began to notice that phone calls were not being returned on a sick animal and that the turnover in the office both in terms of vets and office staff, was becoming excessive. Dr. DeGiacomo an impressive young veterinarian who was a great addition to the practice, left after several months with no letter or explanation to patients who had become accustomed to her care and availability. Dr. Hyduke then brought in another female vet who seemed to disappear as quickly as she arrived, and again, no explanation or acknowledgment to the patients. Dr. Rockwood is a lovely caring person, but we have had reason to question her judgment at times and I became aware from talking to other patients that there was clearly a group of patients that steered away from her and gravitated only towards Dr. Hyduke. With Dr. Hyduke it is not a matter of incompetence, but it is a matter of striking arrogance. He is brusque and he is quick and I never got anywhere close to a "warm, fuzzy feeling" from him. I'm not sure his office staff or colleagues did either, because there seemed to be striking waves of changes in personnel over the last year we were with him. We are happily settled in another local practice with an equally competent but also very kind, unhurried, veterinarian with a much more manageable and well-managed practice. To attest to Dr Hydyke's arrogance, my husband and I just ran into him in a local bar/restaurant and he approached us and asked what vet we were now seeing. We chose to answer his somewhat inappropriate question and his response was, "Yeah, he's just OK.". He then said "They all circle around different vet practices and end up coming back to me." Wow. No interest in ascertaining why a very good client, with 8 pets left his practice after years, and no inclination toward taking any responsibility for what might have gone wrong. We will not in fact be "circling back" to Malvern Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Jason is the best. He is not only an extremely good diagnostician, but caring, gentle and kind. It's obvious he really loves his patients. At the same time, he is sensitive to the caregiver's needs. I have had two elderly patients whose time had come. It was a heart-wrenching experience for me, only made bearable because of his and his staff's kindness, excellent advice and uncommon skill. I truly appreciate Dr. Jason's able guidance throughout the process. He took both my kitties' and my comfort and welfare into account. I am lucky enough to have him just a few minutes' from my home, but I would travel across the city to ensure that my Bongo continues to experience the high level of care he and his staff consistently offer. I should also mention, that his pricing is very reasonable.

I can see he really cares about the animals, and he really takes his time to make sure even the smallest questions I have are answered. Our dog is treated so well. The place is clean, and staff are so helpful and friendly.

Best vet I’ve ever seen! Dr.Hsiao is so sincere and kind to my dog Hachi. He’s so thorough on the physical check up. My Hachi is always nervous to see the vet. But Dr. Hsiao is so patient and take his time with us when he’s checking with Hachi. He charges us with an affordable price. I strongly recommend him to all other fur kids!

Best vet we have been to by far!! Dr.Jason is amazing with animals and all the staff treat your pet like a child (which they are to us) the centre is super clean and dosnt smell of animal pee. My boyfriend and I brought our husky there today, we thought he had a broken or sprained paw. Instead of charging us an insane price for doctor fees, X-rays, overnight fees and meds the doctor spent time with our dog to figure out all the possible issues before suggesting things that cost extra money. In the end we were more then happy with the service and felt we payed a fair price for the quality and information they provided us. I have already recommended this vet to my family and friends. We will definitely coming here more often!

We were referred to Dr Jason from our son who raves about this clinic. My 8 year old Maltese needed dental cleaning really badly so we went and saw Dr Jason. Let me tell you...he is amazing, very thorough and knowledgable at what he does. My dog had to have15 teeth removed. Dr Jason showed us each tooth and explained where the tooth was and explained why it had to be removed. The price was very reasonable compared to the Brimley Lawrence Animal Hospital. So glad we went to Dr Jason...he is a keeper!!

Overpriced and I had to go through 3 doctors before the third diagnosed what was wrong with my cat. She had to suffer through that whole time. I much prefer the brimley and Lawrence vetinary.

I have been a dog owner for about 15 years now and have never met such a caring vet like Dr. Jason and staff. I call them and ask question about my puppy and after they thoroughly ask me questions they give me an answer on the phone. ( and if I need to bring my pup in they will let me know if I don’t they, reassure me that my puppy is fine)A lot of vets I have been to in the past tell me to come in and visit the vet so they can charge me a visiting fee, and insist I do different kinds of tests on something that doesn’t need to be done just so they can grad the money. Malvern vet hospital is the place everyone should be bringing their pets. Not only are they amazing, their prices are also very fair. I am so happy I have finally found a vet that cares more about the animals then putting money in his pocket.
