In 2017 I took my rabbit in to get spayed as this was the only vet that was qualified to care for “exotic animals” in the soo. Soon after the surgery, which cost almost all of my money, my rabbit had a life threatening infection. I took her back to the vet, payed $90 for some antibiotics and healing ointment. I was presented with a few care options but I was all out of money. The doctor decided to see and treat my rabbit EVERYDAY for two weeks and every second day the third week completely FOR FREE. He monitored her and gave her clean dressings everyday. I continued to administer the antibiotics twice a day and keep her living space clean as a whistle. He saved her life and in turn mine as well. Three and a half years later she is still alive and well. I am eternally grateful for the genuine care and generosity shown by this vet. THANK YOU DR CRAIG!!

The receptionists response honestly sucked! I understand the covid situation we're going through, but when someone calls in dire need because he knows his chinchilla is in desperate need of professional help and her response is we're not taking new clients and ends the call with buh bye... Good job, the chinchilla has now passed. You really need to rethink whether you're in it for the money or a animals well being! Disgusted ????

When my dog hurt his shoulder, and started falling down, I thought I'd have to put him down. I found out Dr. Craig did accupuncture and figured I'd give it a try. What a difference!!! I couldn't be happier!!!

Acupuncture treatments have had tremendous results for my dog that couldn't walk without a gingerlead. Within weeks, she was walking on her own and that was two and a half years ago. I would highly recommend this for any pet for a variety of conditions. Thanks Dr. Craig!

I want to give a shout out to Dr Craig. He came to the clinic on short notice on the weekend when my dog was in distress and I was even more distressed. He was caring, offered great advice and graciously did not charge us for his time like most Dr's would . Thank you so much for caring enough to come in on your time off. Cleanest darn animal hospital I have ever been in. The receptionists are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When you meet the technicians,where in other hospitals you rarely if ever do see them, are compassionate and extremely knowledgable. Overall a highly efficient, clean, caring and warm animal hospital to go to. My hat also goes off to everyone at Northland and Dr. Craig, who has donated his personal time with helping to save our wild hawks and owls. I highly recommend this Animal Hospital! Wow I have now been in other Animal Hospitals that you "never ever" see the Doctor and get to see another person! ? Where is the compassion and interest in REALLY helping your Pet! No Veterinarian are they really too busy to talk to us! If I want to know AND understand what is happen to my pet (what ever it may be) I want a companionate and understanding Hospital to deal with.I am going to go to some one who will take the time out of their very busy schedule to help me through what ever issue I may have. Thats why I highly recommend "THIS" hospital. They have helped MORE animals that no-one really knows about. They are all truly one of the "un-sung" heroes for animal care in this community.

Our dog, Dazzle a 10 year old Shetland Sheepdog, had a very large growth on her right eye, one on her snout and another one on her chest. No southern ontario vet would operate on her eye or snout and sent us to specialists.Covid delayed the surgeries and we are happy they did in retrospect. Dr.Craig did an assessment and assured us he could do it. We were a bit nervous based on what previous vets had said…but we went ahead and he did an amazing job. She looks like a new dog! We had pathologies done as well and luckily they were all benign. The cost was reasonable and wecwere pleaded with the gollow up. Stitches came out yesterday! Thank younto Dr. Craig and the whole team!❤️
