Dr Shaw and her staff are fantastic. She even phoned me herself to explain problems from my dogs blood work and course of treatment. Deizel has been well looked after. Heck, even your own doctor won't call you at home. You're lucky enough to get their nurse. I would recommend Great Lakes Animal Hospital.

Great service. Get all my necessities for my cat here. They even have an online ordering, which is fast and convenient. They call me when its ready to be picked up. Would use any other Vet.

I have been contacting vets in the area since i just moved here just over a month ago, and i contacted this facility in hopes i could take my pet here for her annual exam and vaccinations - but come to find out, i got a response from my inquiry email i had sent them from their appt request page on their website, stating "Unfortunately we haven't been taking on new clients for roughly two years, and won't be in the foreseeable future" I let them know if this was the case, then maybe they should take their options to request an appt off of their website! I will be taking my pet somewhere where the veterinarians actually want to care for her. Not a very good first impression.

Dr. Megan Shaw and all the staff at Great lakes Animal clinic are terrific...we have two new dogs...both around a year old...WE purchased the puppy package which was A REAL BARGAIN! Because all visits are covered...we have popped in a couple of times with ...what others would consider maybe trivial concerns...NOT ONCE where we made to feel like we were taking advantages of our package or inconveniencing the clinic...or just being over cautious.. we were met with genuine concern and all questions where answer..Megan was attentive and treated our new babies.... like they were just that.. babies! She was sweet with them...talking to them...and checking them out head to toe...even when we've booked in for a weigh in...and just a once over! They are a very caring and capable staff...and we are very happy that Megan is our puppies...doc!

Simply the worst experience I've ever had dealing with a veterinarian. This clinic makes promises with no intention of keeping them. Not only did they repeatedly tell my family we would receive results by a certain date only to keep us waiting, they also failed to respond to multiple phone calls and emails to renew our dog's prescriptions for pain medication, allowing him to suffer as he died of cancer. I've heard from several other people that they've had similar experiences, being promised the vet would call by a certain date only to have that date come and go. I have been going out of my way to recommend people not go to Dr. Shaw. Not sure what changed here, as she was apparently once a very good vet, but the service has gone sharply downhill in the past few years. Her treatment of our dog was unprofessional and unacceptable. I currently see Dr. Kunasingam at Animal Health Clinic and could not be happier. I only wish we could have had a vet that caring during Nicky's final months instead of one who ignores her patients and allows animals to suffer.

They do not honour their quotes or appreciate repeat business. I’ve brought in 4 cats and 6 dogs, all to get immunized and fixed over the last few years, as well as have other random procedures done, and not only have their prices risen drastically, but they have changed their price after entering agreements. The quality of care and service has gone down significantly over the last year, and it seems they are more interested in money than the health and well being of your pet. I have concerns that some of the procedures they performed on my dog may not have been needed and put her through unnecessary pain and stress. I no longer trust this vet with the care of my animals and I do not recommend her to others.

Great place for anyone to bring your pet because everyone from the receptionist to the vet we're very polite and helpful and they were very quick to get me in the room to see the vet to have my pet checked out and vaccinated. All in all my experience with Great Lakes Animal Hospital was exceptional

My visit was very positive. Dr. Shaw treated my dog excellently. He's a very senior dog and getting nervous of everything but seemed fine while he was there and thankfully didn't have to stay longer than necessary adding to his anxiety. Thank you!
