We were on vacation when we needed to find a vet for our cocker spaniel. Tried all the places that were "supposed to be emergency vets" around Mackinaw and St. Ignace and were told no or try another we had already called. Thankfully we were going to the soo area and found this clinic. Can't say enough about them they even went as far to call us after we had gotten home to check on our pet. So if you need emergency pet care around Mackinaw/ Soo Sault area just call them don't bother with any one else. Doctor and staff were very helpful and didn't have any problems even though it was late in the day and they had others coming in also. Thanks again for your service. And Penny says thank s also

Staff and care provided were above my expectations and the cost for visit, vaccines, exam, and supplies were quite reasonable compared to other places I've taken my pet to. Gabriel was dying in my arms after an incorrect diagnosis of liver failure from another emergency vet. My brother suggested I consult with Chippewa where I have had excellent service in the past. Immediately, Dr. Erica Knowlton made an accurate diagnosis and performed a life-saving surgery. Dr. Christopher Hall has also been following up due to a fluctuating course, using his solid science background and strong intuitive sense. Each day I feel Gabriel is closer to health. As Gabriel continues to fluctuate, the clinic is monitoring her with expertise.

Chippewa Animal Clinic, has become part of our family with our fur babies, beginning over a year ago when our Abigail became ill with cancer they were there from beginning to end with us. My experience at Chippewa animal clinic so far, has been great. They've treated my furbabies with compassion and good care . As well as having plans to make care more affordable which is a definite plus. Prices of services in my opinion are pretty average with some services lower prices than others depending on what your furbaby needs, but again they do offer pet care plans for basic care such as shots and discounted visits. in my opinion the plans make caring for my furbabies much easier and affordable. The vets and staff there seem pretty friendly so far and pleasant just as well as compassionate and so far great with my furbabies. so far a vary well earned 5 stars from me and my furbabies :)

This clinic charges SO MUCH, I've been to other clinics that do not charge as much, and the waiting time is SO LONG, and there was no one else in the clinic, but I could hear the employees chatting and have a nice time in the other room. I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe they charge so much because they bribe 10-20 dollars for a good google review... ??

I am a bearded dragon owner and let me tell y'all, this vet clinic loves animals of all shapes and sizes! The staff were so sweet to my little boy, Toodles, and you can't beat the price for the quality of service you'll get here! I was worried about finding a new vet when I moved to the area but once I called them up my anxieties were put to rest! 10 out of 10, would totes recommend! Including both me and my fiance went to college else we're and still would bring him for his yearly checkups here and when we had problems and were far away our vet would help us with any of our concerns. The staff was very compassionate with us and our beloved pet as we made the decision to say goodbye to our special friend. We thank Rebecca and Dr. Erica for helping us through this difficult time. Being summer visitors from Tucson we will always use their facilities for any medical needs we may have with our pets in the future. Got charged $518 for a $218 appointment, did not get a receipt like I asked for I had to demand back the receipts that I just signed so I could take a picture since they just refunded $300. I did not have $500 in my bank account so I'm getting charged with over draft fees and did not get a call back from the "manager" who takes care of that stuff I had to call back the next day. So now I'm a single mom who can't put gas in her car because I only budgeted my dog's appt for $250 ???????? other than that unresolved issue, my 10am appt got done around 1:30pm but the vet was super knowledgeable about my dogs conditions, gentle and friendly. I asked for them to clip my dogs nails the tech said yes a couple times but they never did. If the business was not so shady I would definitely use her as a vet.

February 7th my small dog Gunner, a Manchester Terrior was attacked by a large English Bull dog. I called over to the Clinic and Dr. HALL was absolutely amazing ! Our 5 month old puppy got into something toxic and we had no idea what it was. They charged us 350 dollars for just a 30 dollar activated charcoal and didn't even run any other tests, blood test, nothing. Didn't feel thorough at all, feeling very ripped off.

We love Dr Hall and all the staff at this clinic. They treat you like family and have a true understanding of how very important our animals are to us. I have seen them shed tears with pet owners who were facing a difficult situation. There is no place that I recommend more highly than here for the health of your pet. A great bonus is that they have plans available for your pet care so you can pay a small fee monthy and there are so many things included, like 2 visits, shots, de worming, testing, flea and tick treatments, heartworm treatments and many more...all for around $54 a month!!! We will continue to recomment the staff here to everyone we come in contact with. And our Pomeranian has a crush on Nancy!! LOL

We needed emergency care for our 10 year old lab on a sunday. We called and they were there to meet us. After several tests they diagnosed our lab with spleen problems, they were right, Monday they removed her spleen. They were very accommodating and compassionate with us and our lab.

I have taken my pets here for 10 years. We had to put our beagle, Bones, to sleep last year and they were wonderful. However, June 29 I had to put my 15 yr old jack Russell ,Gidget, to sleep. She was in so much pain and I was a mess. I had to work and couldn’t get to the office until after 5. Was told no vets stay after five and I would have to go to another veterinarian office that was doing after hour calls and pay an extra 200. So on one of the hardest, most miserable days of my life not one of their vets was willing to be there an extra hour to get us through this. Not willing to help. I ended up taking off work to get there during lunch. I have two cats and will be taking them to another vet. I am very disappointed and sad.

We have taken our Yellow Lab, Tessy to Dr. Hall and his staff for over Ten Years. They are the most kind and efficient Animal clinic we have ever dealt with. ACL Surgery three times. pancreas problems, ear infections. They have trained us to take care of her the proper way. Right Diet, Right Medications and they are always available to help. We wouldn't take our Baby to anyone else

Both Dr. Kate and Dr. Hall have gone above and beyond to help my pitbull with her bad allergies. They not only provided medication to soothe her itchy skin, they also taught me how to keep her allergies under control with proper diet. And they’re always ready to help when her allergies flare up. I needed a rabies shot and exam so that my pet could travel with me. I kept the records in my suitcase. However, when traveling by car I broke down in North Carolina and I needed to fly back home with my pet. Chippewa Animal Clinic staff went above and beyond my expectations to send me my records and a letter signed by the doctor so that my pet could fly with me back home.

Adopted a kitten from the shelter and she had not been doing well much to my concern. Called the shelter Sunday of a 3 day holiday. They gave me Dr. Hall's number and I immediately called him. He didn't hesitate and told me to bring her right in. I arrived and he and an assistant were ready for her. He diagnosed her, hydrated her and gave her 2 medicines. They were absolutely professional, very very friendly. I was not charged a fee either b/c she had just been adopted. This type of service is VERY RARE these days. I will continue to use Dr. Hall for my pet's need...he is really as great as these reviews suggest.

The entire staff at Chippewa Animal Clinic are awesome. I called about 9:30 am with concerns about my dog, Lucy. She was not acting normal, seemed lethargic and not eating or going outside. Rebecca gave me an appointment for 10:50 am that morning and Dr. Kate and Tiffany identified her problem as severe constipation with blocked bowels. Lucy was on her way home shortly after 2pm and feeling much better. Thank you to all the staff for such quality care.
